Can cancel a refresh on windows 8, I have no restore points, but I would like to come back in 24 hours?
I recently got a new computer with Windows 8, I had problems with it and decided to update to clean up all the bits and pieces that I had added to start again. The package of windows desktop has been installed recently by partner until he went away as he bought two licenses and it has now disappeared.
Can I cancel the update somehow? I tried and tried, but it seems that there is no restore point. Very grateful for any advice that have just managed to get a job for the first time this year and need to word, excel etc.
@Shawn Yes, do users wrong to not understand arcane messages of Windows 8. Microsoft can do no wrong (sarcasm).

According to Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 free download
It can run in Windows 7 or 8. I remember installing several times for a friend who used it to modify its Web page in Windows 7.
If necessary you can use the Compatibility Mode which tricks spies into thinking that its installation of XP or earlier.

My name is Ellie and I am new to Dreamweaver.
I can switch between the code sheet and css html, but I would like to see them both at the same time as well as the design window. Right now and can see rather the design and code html or design and css. How can I arrange to see everything at the same time, design, HTML and CSS?

I would like to go back to xp opperating system of my windows 7
I would like to go back to xp opperating system of my windows 7
The short answer is that you need to do an installation of Windows XP by booting from the XP CD and do a complete, 'new' install XP ofd. You must then install all the applications you want to use with it and all your user files (documents, photos, videos, music, & c).
It is a good guide to clean XP install. There are others.

- Depending on your needs, alternatives that removing Windows 7 - install XP system could better serve you:
- Run XP to 7's 'XP Mode '. Available only to users of Windows 7 Ultimate and professional.
- Launch XP 7 on a virtual machine. Usable by all using Sun Virtual Vox or VMware or similar.
- Set up a dual boot so that you can use a few times 7 and XP, others by starting the system that you need right here.

Still not too sure what happened or how it happened by the way, but when I turned on my PC today, I had the menu to choose start normally or repair starter system, when I try to start normally, the computer just as it happened to the Windows 7 loading screen. After that there a few times, I tried a system repair... He once checked for any problems and said then that he was trying to fix, but after waiting a few minutes, an error box appeared, saying "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically" following with send/don't send. After closing the box, I have the option to go to advanced options, which includes the system restore and System Image recovery, but since I have no restore points or Image to recover with, there is not much that I seem to be able to do. I have no idea what to do with it, without the drive I can not install a new version and wouldn't really, because there is a lot of work on there that i prefer to keep, any alternative?
The Informatics iron law says that important or irreplaceable files must be stored at least two independent media. A lot of people ignore this rule. Some change their backup philosophy until they suffer a great success, others wait until after a disaster. A 2.5 drive "in a box external USB is an inexpensive but very effective backup media. In your case you can probably recover your data by starting on a command Console and copy your files on such a disk, using commands in the console.
On your inability to start Windows: you have exhausted almost all options, but there is a small chance that you could restore the windows to restore a previous version of your registry files. The process is complex and requires some careful typing. Ask a computer-savvy friend to help you if you lack experience in this field. Note that it may reset your password to a previous value.
1. keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
2. select Repair from the menu.
3 log in as administrator if you are prompted.
4. Select repair when prompted.
5. Select the command line.
6. identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be one drive other than c, but it will not X:. You do this by typing commands
DIR C:\Win*
Dir D:\Win*
dir E:\Win*
until you find the Windows folder.
I'll call this "Q:" drive
7 type these commands:
CD /d Q:\windows\System32\config
xcopy *. * Q:\RegBack\
CD RegBack
dir
8. review the dates of the software, system, and SAM files. The files created before or after that is your problem?
9. If they were made before the problem appeared, you can then type these commands:
copy software / y...
/y copy system...
/y copy Sam...
(the two points are part of each order)
10. restart normally. If things don't work then you can go back by copying files from the original register of Q:\Regback to Q:\Windows\System32\config.

Windows 8, I keep losing restore points at all to zero.
I can create a correct restore point, but after a few days when you check again the restore point disappeared! This also applies to the system restore points that are installed automatically during upgrades.
I use CCleaner, frequently and other malware & anti virus programs occasionally.

My creative cloud subscription ran out. I've updated my contact information. Adobe is deducted from the money, but I can't find the serial number in my account for the product so can't get all running programs. I have the small card, but there are letters and numbers. Adobe doesn't let me put those in the fields of serial number. Is it possible I can get Adobe to help me because I'm paying for something that I can't use.

I have a subscription to creative cloud (at least) but I would like to add another user, who will use a Mac... is there a way I can do this?
Hello
You can have the creative cloud installed and signed in on two computers as long as you don't use it on one at a time. Download and install as you did on the first computer, sign in to your Adobe account on the Adobe using your Adobe ID website, download the desktop app from clouds, then download the software. Sign on a computer that should not be used: log in and log out of the desktop Adobe Creative Cloud application
You can download the installer for Creative Cloud from here:
Creative cloud help | Creative cloud desktop. After you install the creative Cloud desktop application, you will need to sign in with a login password and Adobe. Then you can install applications. This link provides more information and step by step instructions, if you need: CC help | Download, install, update or uninstall applications
