  The return of the files is not necessary for all the file as a JPG, PSD, HTML etc extension here is the universal file format

  However, if you speak the native file as Indesign INDD format, and HAVE Illustrator so yes you can save the backup for CS5 CS6 file, the procedure can vary.

  InDesign:-save the IDML file and the IDMl file is compatible with Indesign CS4

  Illustrator;-fichier--> record, in the "Save as" dialog box choose the version to which you want to downgrade.

  You can opt for the one application CC if the product is available. The CC app cannot be designed according to the choice.

  Thank you for your quick response, Jeff. I did all the things on the checklist at the link above, and everything was as it should. So I restarted my computer and I tried again. Then the update downloaded fine InDesign, but new download of Photoshop conked. After that I restarted again, it worked well also. It is possible that my internet connection (Time Warner) is unstable, or that there is some mysterious setting in my new computer that caused the problem. But if I ever have trouble downloading updates again, I'll try to reboot before I scream for help! Thanks again.

• How can I recover a key Illustrator CS4 of OSX?

  I just bought a new iMac for one of our graphics employees, and in addition Adobe CC she need Illustrator CS5 installed, because there is a plugin that we use for a client who is not available for more recent than the CS5 versions. The problem that I am running is our copy of CS5 was an upgrade from versions CS4 and naturally, that was before we started using the Adobe TLP, so we bought anything and nobody can find our CS4 license info.

  Problems by placing a file have (eps) in Photoshop and InDesign, and maintaining the original look. For some reason any graphic design is the insertion contours arournd parts of the chart, but only when place. If I open in AI and copy + paste it into Photoshop, it seems. Copy + paste into Id however does not...

  I discovered I can recreate this look in artificial intelligence by selecting the image by clicking on ' object > flatten transparency "."

  I instered a screenshot below to give you an idea of what I mean. I think it has something to do with some of the "Aesthetic" effects that I use. There's a subtle shadow and feathers degraded in the graph.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  In ID when using place, I don't get the problem. It only happens here, if I use copy / paste - something I can never remember you use in ID except to help people.

  The reason why I asked about the PDF document or a print is I thought that the problem was a problem of stictching. And it is. In the PDF file, the lines but if you show zoom you will notice lines never get larger. For example, if printing ID or a PDF file, the lines are not there.

  The injection lines are the result of shadow on the letters. This causes a part of the image is a bitmap image.

  The Summit is the file placed in the code. The background is the copy & paste.

• "WINDOWS EXPLORER has STOPPED WORKING" error every time I try to open things like 'Control Panel' and any other file of windows.

  This happens when I try to open any file from windows Explorer. It began to happen yesterday after my mother has finished using the computer. I think she did something (a click on something online somewhere) and may have introduced a virus into the computer. We have only a very minimal virus protection so I see not what is a great possibility. When I came home there was some files randomly on the desktop and I went to "My computer" right now (with difficulty) and removed all the new things, she got on the computer, that she doesn't want to download (which means they came when she clicks on something somewhere online). I thought I had fixed it but now I can't even open 'my computer' because of this error. Help, please

  Loading Windows in Safe Mode and check if the problem is here. You can use the system restore as well. You can also use this program and disable Windows Explorer extensions that were not Microsoft.
