Please can I connect SFP GLC-LH-SMD connector lc single fiber on Cisco 897VA Module?

Thanks in advance.

If you have only a single glass fiber then the GLC-LH-SMD = is NOT good

because it is for double connection to a pair of fiber.

You would like more information by your ISP, you will most likely need a GLC-BX-D (RX-TX/1310 nm, 1490 nm) or a GLC-BX-U(1310-nm TX/1490-nm RX)

1000Base-BX10-D and 1000BASE-BX10-U SFP for bidirectional single fiber Applications

SFP 1000BASE-BX-D and 1000BASE-BX-U, compatible with the IEEE 802.3Ah standard 1000BASE-BX10-D and 1000BASE-BX10-U, carried on in a single strand of SMF standard.

A 1000BASE-BX10-D device is always connected to a device of 1000BASE-BX10-U with one strand of SMF standard with functioning of the chain of transmission, up to 10 km.

The communication on a single strand of fiber is achieved by separating the wavelength of transmission of both devices, as shown in Figure 2: 1000BASE-BX10-D transmits a channel 1490 nm and receives a signal of 1310 nm, while 1000BASE-BX10-U transmits at 1310 nm wavelength and a signal of 1490 nm. As shown, the presence of a separator of multiplexing (WDM) length of wave-division integrated with SFP to split the 1310 nm, 1490 nm light railways.

GLC-BX-D and SFP GLC-BX-U supports also digital Optics (DOM) of the functions of surveillance in accordance with approval of the standard of the industry (MSA) multisource SFF-8472. This feature gives the end user the ability to analyze parameters in real time of the FPS, such as the optical output power, optical input power, temperature, laser bias current and transceiver supply voltage.
