I found them in a folder subfolders of c:\users\stuart\favourites\(lots), but if I import via FF using the option "to leave a browser", it doesn't matter nothing. The records I want are not html, they are records containing the url files.

  Given that you have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes without correcting the problem, it may be with a 3rd party product causes a problem.

  I would look at the post here to see if this solution can help you. It's from a 3rd third party site, you should use at your own risk, because it has not been tested, but seemed to help others with the same error that you are experiencing.

  It's weird.

  Suggest you to reset the preferences of Lightroom.

  Before that, go to Lightroom > catalog settings > General and make a note of the location, so that you know where your main catalog is stored.

  Then, follow these instructions:

  1. exit the Lightroom program

  2. open Finder

  3. click on menu go (top) and type ~/library and click Go.

  4. open the Preferences folder

  5. rename the file com.adobe.Lightroom5.plist in com.adobe.Lightroom5 - old.plist

  Then open Lightroom again and try to import again.
