Can I upgrade my HP xw8200 Workstation to use windows 7?
Can I upgrade my HP xw8200 Workstation to use windows 7?
Hello:
You should be able to run W7 64-bit on your PC, since Vista business is the operating system recommended by HP. normally if a PC can run Vista, it can work in W7.
For a nice report of its ability to run W7, download and run the Advisor of W7 upgrade on the link below. Connect all devices to your PC, so it will analyze these devices as well as for the ability of W7.
Here is the link to the download page for the W7 Upgrade Advisor:

If you have another partition, you can install Win7 on it. And have a dual boot
But if you don't have a spare partition you have (or will be at) do a clean install. Which means format and reinstall Win7

How can I upgrade my Eee pc 101 HP with windows 7 in xp mode
How can I upgrade my Eee pc 101 ch in xp mode. ?
Hello
If you have Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, or enterprise then XP mode is an option.
From a post from Kristan M. Kenney:
"Most of the applications that were designed for Windows 2000 or Windows XP work always correctly under all editions of Windows 7, including Home Premium. Some applications check the version number of the operating system and will fail to run if it finds an unexpected number of version, Windows 7 has so a compatibility mode that allows these types of programs to run correctly.
There is also another option of compatibility oriented informatics professionals and business users called "Windows XP Mode," which is essentially a fully licensed copy of Windows XP Professional running inside a virtual machine and is only available for users of Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate.
Windows XP Mode is intended mainly for companies who have designed their own internal software that is targeted specifically for a version of the software - an excellent example of this is a web app that only works in Internet Explorer 6 (which is available with Windows XP, but not with Windows 7).

And much more: (XP mode requires professional, Ultimate or Enterprise).

business and productivity programs that require a PC running Windows XP.

Hello
You can download, install, and configure Windows Live Mail again or use Windows Mail, which is the default email program in Vista.
How to set up Windows Mail.
Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider); They provide your broadband / dial connection.
Ask them to:
1. your username with them
2. your password with them.
3 incoming mail POP3 server.
4. the outgoing mail SMTP server
All the settings that you need to come from them, not Microsoft; and they are usually happy to help you set up your e-mail program.
You can use this guide to set up Windows Mail:

I can't remove songs off my cell phone using windows media player. I need help.
I use Windows Media Player to put music on my cell phone, but now I can not remove the music. He repeats to me that I is not able to remove it. Could someone please help me so that I can get the music off my phone?
This can vary greatly depending on the type of phone you have. If you can let us know, we can help.
But first of all, I would like to try this:
- Click on start and open the work «»
- If your phone is listed here, double-click on it and see if you can explore the files and delete normally.
- If it doesn't work the first time, try to go back to 'Computer' and this time, the phone with the right button and choose "Explorer" instead. On some phones, it connects to a different method and allows you to use that way.

There is nothing wrong with this update.
This update is designed to fill a long-standing security hole that took forever to connect Apple.
In addition, this update was tailored to address issues on older models of iDevice.
My advice on the conduct of iOS upgrades/updates.
Ideally, your iDevice should maintain a minimum amount of free storage for 4 to 6 GB or more on any iDevice (more free space, the better it is), plus, more 50%-60% state of the battery to ensure smooth operation, as well as, to ensure the possibility of an update/upgrade installation to update iOS successful.
In addition, it is better to upgrade an iDevice connected to a computer running iTunes with you sync iDevice had and backed up by iTunes rather than OTA Over The Air () using a wireless WiFi connection, if possible.Doing a major or critical OS update/update may be risky to do in Wifi or cell due to the risk of interruption of data or forged data, causing problems with downloading the OS data and the subsequent installation of the unit.
Also, it is best to do the update/update via iTunes you will get the update/upgrade entire and not only a smaller WiFi download version/serving based on your iDevice to model that can or can not download everything that your particular iDevice needs.
If you have no other choice than to use the Wifi, then make sure that you have a solid and stable connection the will of the signal does not induce the possibility of dropout data.
I prefer the iTunes method because there is minimal risk, and I've never had PROBLEMS with ANY operating system, updates using this method.
Good luck!

Now, I can not access some of my folders, no opening or deleting or anything and I only have 1 Administrator account on my computer...

I can move my default libraries of different readers using Windows 7?
I built my computer for video editing. I have an SSD for my C:\ drive and I want to make it the default player for my operating system, programs and the Documents folder and little else. I don't want my C:\ drive to be the default location of my music, pictures or videos library. I have a disc M:\ I want to be the default location of the library of music. I want all the files of music and other audio files like sound effects, voiceovers, etc. to be stored on the m:\. I also have a drive separate P:\ that I want to be the default location of the library of photos and the location of all the pictures, modified photos and other works of art, and I don't want any of this to go on my C:\ drive. For video, storage I wanted to have a V drive but Windows says no. I guess because there might be confusion with a
------and a / being too close together, so for video storage, I have a HARD drive bigger designated S:\ disk for storage of videos and other things that require a lot of storage space. I don't want any uploaded photos, music or video to go to libraries on the default C:\ drive. How to load Windows 7 to do this? I want that music library on the m:\, the image on the drive P:\ library and the library of videos must be on the S:\ and I don't want music, photos or video libraries on my C:\ drive, can I get Windows 7 to do this?
Hi Joseph
Libraries are virtual folders. They adopt any significant amount of space on the hard drive (the value by default 4 libraries use about 100 KB of disk space) and they don't use shortcuts. You can add a folder to the library and a library that contains 10 GB of files will use approximately 50 kilobytes of disk space.
The reason why they are named library is because they like the town library in your city that contains books from around the world.
The libraries provide a convenient way to view the files that are contained in many other cases and in many other places. You can view files in folders on other drives or, partitions and even network locations.
When you open a file in a library, you actually open the physical file in the folder that was added to the library. If you delete a file in a library, it will be removed from the physical folder.
Here are some links more information.

Libraries: Frequently asked questions:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/libraries-frequently-asked-questions
Libraries - Microsoft Windows:
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/libraries
To free up disk space on the system (c) disk, you can move the physical folder (for example, My Documents, pictures, music, videos) that is included in a library to a different location.
1. go on the target drive where you want to move the folder and create a new folder with the same name.
2. on the C: drive, navigate to the folder that you want to move. Click on folder and select the tab properties/location.
3. click on the move button and select the new folder that you created in the target drive.
See the following article for details.
