• Need help with VMware Player to run!

  I've been using VMware Player 7.1 successfully for some time, but my drive hard host started making noise, so I installed a new SSD drive as drive C on the host computer.  My old hard drive installation was 8.1 for Windows 64-bit, but needed to be cleaned, so I did a clean install of Windows 8.1 64 bit on my new SSD for the host.  My guest OS (8.1 64-bit Windows) has been installed on drive E, then I'm not touching this player.  I then installed VMware Player 7.1 and all is well.  However, when I now run VMware Player 7.1 and try to open my (8.1 Windows 64-bit) guest OS, he says now that the Intel VT - x is disabled.  I've never touched the BIOS at all, but to check I went into the BIOS and Intel Virtualization is always on because it has been.  My system is a motherboard ASUS Sabertooth with an i7 processor and 16 GB of ram.

  So I rechecked everything in the BIOS and made sure the virtualization is enabled.  What else can I do to get VMware Player 7.1 running?  Help, please!

  Peripheral USB themselves act as plug-and-play.  As long as you have configured the virtual computer to have a USB controller and have installed the drivers (via VMware Tools) in the comments, you can attach any USB device to the guest with workstation, player, server, Fusion, etc..

  Workstation already includes the UI player interface so that you can test your VMS how they will be displayed to users who have installed Player.  There should be a shortcut installed for it.  You can run your VM via player INTERFACE and to answer to your question here, I think.

  Why use iTunes AND WMP AND a Galaxy? Use one of them.

  The reason for which you you hide it all under "Unknown", this is that wav files are not encrypted when you ripped them. You must add the titles to the hand. However, your Galaxy will not be able to read them.

  You could rip as mp3 at a rate of 320 files - negligible loss of sound quality at a high rate, or as a file flac.

  You can use a codec for WMP for files flac and I don't know if iTunes can read - I never use it for reading. Check the plug on the Apple site. Yet once, however, the Galaxy cannot.

  However, they can read mp3 files, as can your Galaxy (I have a). To transfer files to the Galaxy its recommended to use Kies software (available on Samsung website)...

  If you were to use a program like AudioGrabber (Google for it, its freeware) coupled with the Lame codec (follow the links on the site of AudioGrabber) then you can rip from CD directly to mp3 at a rate of 320 that WMP + iTunes + your Galaxy can read.

  I had VMWare Player 6.0.5 and could not install/update VMWare tools. So, I suspended my operating system prompted and rebooted VMPlayer. Being suspicious, I went and downloaded VMWPlayer 6.0.5 where he screwed up the installation of Workstation 10.0. Of course, he did. So I tried to install Player 6.0.5 so I could return to my suspended VM. In my opinion, what he said that I could not install because I haven't restarted. So I rebooted. Now, I can't install Player 6.0.5 or Workstation 10.0.0 or whatever it is. They all fail on the same way saying the cannot find a .msi file I can find and access.

  Help!

  BTW, you guys have far too much product and names making it confusing. What should I use? Player? Workstation? Spear? vCenter, Fusion. The list goes on and. Do not try to give me the list of "well it's for this reason and this other thing". The point is there are too many products and it is too complicated.   So here's how I did this work under my 8.1 Windows Installer.

  1. install the free vmware player.

  2. install Windows xp in a virtual macine on ure computer current 40 gig is good

  3 install the software to mount the .bin file and install the game

  4 fun playing the game by using the windows xp vmware player full screen.

  even the sound and music work like a charm, and you can return to your windows desktop 7 or 8.1 in a few seconds.

  I'm having the problem with the mouse / time playing Minecraft (MC) on VMWare. The problem has to do with the mouse is not getting locked for VMWare and MC window.

  You will need to do a few things...

  Read first configuring a virtual network section in the help file in VMware Player.

  If the RDM are in mode physical then instant does not apply to the RDM. If your RDBMS is in virtual mode, then you can make snapshots of the RDM, but to do this, I'll make sure you have PLENTY of space, up to 2 tablespoons available just in case you do something touches all the blocks of the RDM.

  Personally, I keep large RDMs like physics and save them within the virtual machine to an external source. Mitigate the need a lot of disk space.
