  If the boot without failure for the administrator account and not be able to delete a file under the other user account or the account itself, there is something else wrong.

  First, I make sure that no VMware not associated with the process are running which must be in Mode safe and then I would take a look at the permissions on the file and, if necessary and or possible I would take possession in order to delete the file.  Otherwise issues that may could be corruption of the file system, in which case I would run chkdsk with the argument/f or if it's just that a file could / can be an area damaged the disk hard physics so you can test the physical hard drive with a diagnostic tool specific HARD drive manufacturing.

  Other options would be to try to remove the file from the Recovery Console by booting from the installation disc or Windows using a Linux Live OS like Slax.

  BTW is this topic on the host or guest?  If in a guest I just delete the virtual machine and replace it from a backup and if it is on the host computer, then this is not really a matter of VMware itself and it is more a problem of Windows Administration and must be treated accordingly from the point of view of the user account and or file system management regardless of the application that created the file and act accordingly.

  The virtual machine that you downloaded is just that, a virtual machine, not an executable. You need to install/run VMware Player or Workstation and run, and then open the virtual machine.

  Well, I tore my first two CDs in Windows Media Player (11) and which went well. I have synced them (because I can't figure out how to do drag and drop) and which went well. So I started to rip CDs more and got as much as 4 when a message came and I deleted inadvertently. Then, it would show that I'm ripping, but have no songs OR album titles. I went to the media player but cannot find how to fix this problem. I'd appreciate any help to make it back to where it is rip CDs and indicating the name of the album and song names.   Are you connected to the net by tearing? The network connection is needed to get the tag data.

  Again click Extract, click on more options, then the library and retrieve additional information on the net are checked, and then click OK. I think it's the parameter that tells it to get the data from the tag on the net? It is easy to copy files to the drive with Windows Explorer. Open Windows Explorer(right click on start, then click on explore). Find your music under my documents, my music file (or something similar). Find the folder with the music inside album. Right-click on it and choose copy. Then find the folder music of the rocket in Windows Explorer. Right-click on it and choose Paste.

  Click the extract and make sure that the format is set to mp3 format. Click it again and make sure that the flow is set to 192 or 256.

  I'm relatively new to flash, but a fairly skilled programmer.
  
  I've created a game that works perfectly and communicates with a WinSock server on port 4000 to publish his final to score. With the help of simple XMLSocket and Send.
  
  When I start the game in the stand-alone flash player everything works perfectly as it should
  
  However, when I embed in an HTML page or similar this is wrong. The game works fine, but the final display on the WinSock socket server fails. I got the error message.

  My server and the test computer are on the same domain, the web server is a win2003 server and my tests and server coding is a XP machine running IE7. They are connected by a router ADSL, sharing the same external IP address, but rather through the DHCP addressing. Everything works fine for winsocket port port forwarding.
  
  Just for emphasis, I think that this configuration is correct, because everything works fine when I run in the flash player.

  I fixed it later.

  In version 9.0.124.0 flash they force now you have a server running on port 843 XML socket server somewhere if you want to use XMLSocket in a browser.

  Nothing to do with the domain or crossdomain.xml files.

  You must also call

  Security.loadPolicyFile ("xmlsocket://x.x.x.x:843") before opening the socket.

  to load into the XML file that defines what is allowed.

  Google search for AS3 and socket server port 843 and you will find examples and even a simple Java based server to use.

  You can also double-click any VMs .vmx files you want to start.  What I've done is set up the shortcuts in my quick launch for my VMs frequently used toolbar.  Each shortcut target the respective virtual machine .vmx file, is to start.

  Ladies and gentlemen:

  I'm an old geezer trying to set up a Win 7 PC for use by my 95 year old mother.  His old Win XP PC disintegrates.  She is very attached to his computer.  However, not only did she have macular degeneration (it must use ZoomText to see his PC), it also simply can not learn something new about computers. She only uses Outlook Express, Word 2000, and surfed on the internet (she could not adapt to the changes in all new versions of browser).

  I installed a VM Ware Player and Win XP and its familiar programs.  What I have a lot to accomplish implements new PC to start directly in the virtual machine and the copy of XP, just as if MOM were using his old PC.

  My computer skills only go so far; and not far enough.  I searched for hours and found the following about starting automatically in the guest operating system:

  Install VM Server and make the settings in it.  I do not want to do.  I struggled for weeks, setting up what I already have.

  I found this in http://www.networknet.nl/apps/wp/archives/356:

  "Tried to automate the process to have a script or a shortcut to automatically start a virtual guest with VMWare Player? After login, you can start VMWare Player and locate the virtual machine or click on the recent but still you need control this process. Maybe you want to start the virtual machine to start the system with scheduled tasks or ask a user to click on a specific shortcut to a pre-created virtual computer, he needs to test.

  To add to my previous post...

  Click on the circles to start > all programs and then right click on start and select open.

  Click on the round of departure > Documents > VMS > [name of the Virtual Machine]

  In the [name of the Virtual Machine] folder right click on the file which has a an icon of three boxes that overlap with the name of the virtual machine and choose Create shortcut.

  Drag the shortcut to the startup folder

  Right click on the shortcut and change the target: text box add the following in front of what is already there.

  For Windows 7 32 bit, is the default path for VMware Player:

  "C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Player\vmplayer.exe" -X
  

  For 64-bit Windows 7, the default path for VMware Player is:

  "C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\VMware Player\vmplayer.exe" -X
  

  Click OK

  Double-click the shortcut to make sure it works.

  Now with a shortcut in the startup during the initialization of the host and the user folder to connect to the computer virtual will automatically boot full-screen.

  You can even put a copy of the shortcut on the desktop as well as to facilitate access to the need.

  Background: A few years ago, many editors of cinema used Final Cut Pro 6 (also contained in Final Cut Studio 2) for their editing projects.  Shared Apple Final Cut X uses a different format that is not compatible with FCP6.  Sometimes, these editors are called to work on a few historical projects that have been published in FCP6 and need this version to run now.

  Starting with OS X Lion, FCP6 would install not in Lion and thereafter.

  According research by Jeremy Johnston as noted on his blog, he discovered that Apple has inserted a file in the folder CoreServices in the Library folder of the system folder that causes versions the version Final Cut Pro X (and other older Apple programs in the same situation) do not settle.  He suggested changes to this file that would seek to prevent interfering with the installation of FCP6 in Lion, many users of final cut PRO 6 were successful in their efforts to install in Lion and work with it.

  First of all, I need advice on how to display an extremely large Setup log in this thread (on MacRumors, it is a method to insert a 'code' in a small box that can be the object of a scrollbar if necessary to read all along).  I am unable to find such a method to post here.

  Then once approved, I need help to determine which component is causing the installation to fail and perhaps this element can be omitted from the installation:

  

  If this element is not required, then maybe FCP6 can be installed successfully without it.  And if that omitted element is necessary, perhaps a manual method to install it can be determined by pacifists.

  It is my goal to help those who need to install and use FCP6 on their new Macs running El Capitan.
