Can not find the network work dc7700 SFF driver

I recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro on a dc7700 SFF machine and while the XP installation went without a hitch I can't install an ethernet driver.

I tried to use all the 5 drivers from this page without success.

I did some quick research and it doesn't seem to be a wide spread question.

Windows detects hardware in the device as "ethernet controller" Manager without a driver installed.

Running the Intel and Broadcom driver installs guest messages "no card detected Intel/Broadcom.

Any other ideas? The machine is out of warranty since 2010.

Hello:

In my view, it has the Intel card and for some reason any HP driver Intel doesn't work.

Use it to Intel, and you should be good to go. First download listed is for XP 32 bit.

Well, I can't comment officially, but I'm sure that has been discussed in, and design changes avoid this problem.

Regarding something is through HP, you could call the HP Technical Support and check if you have options to upgrade to a new printer. They should have a list of printers and prices offered as part of the upgrade process. There is no charge to call and check the options you have. • Windows 7 can not find the network

Hi guys I hope that someone can help me, I walked trough the forums but none of the above helped me. I also do not really understand some of them. But that's what happened. My internet was fine yesterday, I was watching some stuff on aliexpress when my mouse froze, I tried to restart the laptop, but nothing worked so I had to remove the battery. After that the computer took forever to turn back and when he did my computer did not find my wifi more. I ran the following anti-virus, I tried the steps in the verification of all past system. I went in Sync Center, I have trid addition in manual, I tried to search for a wifi switch (I don't think I have a) I tried to restart the pc and the internet, I tried the system restore, I don't really know what else to do. Any suggestions?

    Hi Kate,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that Windows 7 can't find the network and I appreciate the efforts made to try the patches. Let me ask you;

    • Restoring the system led?
    • What exactly happens when you try to connect to the Wi - Fi?

This could be due to several reasons, including any third party software conflict. Try the following methods and check.

Method 1: Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network and check if the problem persists. If the problem does not persist in SafeMode with network, put the computer in a clean boot state and check.

Step 1: Start the computer using safe mode with networking

Safe mode with networking is an option of troubleshooting for Windows that starts your computer in a limited State. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. Safe Mode with networking appears in the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you are using. You can use the internet connection in this mode.

Please refer to: , start your computer in safe mode

Step 2: Perform a clean boot in order to avoid any conflict of third party software.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Place your system in the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: see 'How do I reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting' to reset the computer starts normally after troubleshooting.

Method 2: Update the network adapter

Step 1: Update the driver through Device Manager

    a. click Start , type Device Manager and click on it

    b. expand network adapters

    c. make a right click driver, and then click Update driver software

Step 2: Install the Windows updates pending

    To check the updates:

    1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.
    2. In the left pane, click check for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer.

    3. If you see a message telling you that important updates are available, or you say to look at the important updates, click the message to view and select the updates to install.

    4. In the list, click the important updates for more information. Select the check boxes for the updates that you want to install and then click OK.

    5. Click install updates.

Read and accept the terms of the license and then click Finish if the update requires it. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Step 3: Visit the computer manufacturer's support Web site and install the latest network for Windows 8 for the same model of device drivers.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

    Hi nizar,.

I suggest that you perform a repair installation.

    Repair facility:

You can reinstall your copy of Vista while keeping your files, settings and programs by performing a repair install or an upgrade on the spot with the following steps: (Note: this still does not resolve all problems, especially if the corruption was caused by a 3rd party program or service, you may need to do a clean install) (if this is not successful.)

    <><><><><><><><><><><><>

Please make sure that you back up all the important data before you continue. Please visit: methods for your backup files.

Always make sure that you have the means to reinstall your programs, or by an installation disc or access to the installation files.

    <><><><><><><><><><><><>

    1. Insert the Windows installation disc in your computer's DVD or CD drive. You must start Windows installation while running your existing version of Windows.

    2. on the Install Windows page, click install now.

    3. on the get updates for installation page, we recommend getting the latest updates to help ensure a successful installation and to help protect your computer against security threats. You will need an Internet connection to get the installation updates.

    4. on the Type your product key for activation , we strongly recommend that you type your 25-character product key in order to avoid problems during activation.

    5. on the page Please read the terms of the license , if you accept the license terms, click I accept the terms of the license.

    6. to the which type of installation you want? page, click upgrade to begin the upgrade. You can see a compatibility report.

    7 follow the instructions.

Note: If your installation disc doesn't include SP1, and you are updated, then you must uninstall it before proceeding with an update install. Start-> Control Panel-> programs-> see installed updates, then select Service Pack for Microsoft Windows and click on Uninstall.

Note: Tit the following settings is reset by default:

    Its computer system

    Device drivers

    Visual effects

    Windows Mail

    Windows services

If you notice missing files after the upgrade, look in the following folders:

    C:\Windows.old

    C:\$INPLACE.~TR

    C:\$WINDOWS.~Q

These files can be eliminated with disk cleanup as "records destroyed by upgrade to Windows".

    Delete files using disk cleanup

  • WiFi constantly fall, becomes very slow or can not find the network

You just bought a new Sony Vaio with Windows 8 and the wifi keeps deleting, becomes extremely slow or can't find my home network. I know that it is not the router because my other two laptops work fine and have full wifi signal (1 running Windows 7, the other is Windows Vista). I tried using the troubleshooting and it cannot solve the problem (if it is said) and claims that my ethernet cable or cable router is not connected (does not solve anything because my problem is wifi, not on the cable).

Perform a search on Google, it seems that it is a major problem with Windows 8.  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem, before returning the laptop? (the question of the internet makes the laptop almost unusable because most of my things are on the cloud)

  • can not find the wireless network

    Hello

I hope someone can help. Today, I got a new installed wireless router. Until now my main and most recent computer can connect to the internet fine (so I know this isn't a network problem), but my old computer does not find the network when scherching of available networks, it may pick up other networks and communicate with them simply not my own. It is the first time that I am trying to connect to this wireless computer.

The computer is a HP pavilion t770.uk Windows xp sp3.

You need to replace the network adapter. The current NIC is older than the specification of N, so it can not communicate with this Protocol.

You can try to configure your router and the new pc to use b, if they allow.

I reinstalled Windows on my HP Pavilion g6 - 1310ea and can not find the drivers for the Ethernet, PCI Device and SM Bus controller controller. There seems to be no more this kind of drivers on hp suupp.

    Hello:

I can't even to the driver page.

Here are the drivers you must however...

Ethernet controller: download and install the 2nd driver on the list.

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 14 & PFid = 7 & Level = 5 & Conn = 4 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

PCI device: Download, unzip and run the exe file to install from the first item on the list at the link below...

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1 & PNid = 15 & PFid = 25 & Level = 4 & Conn = 3 & DownTypeID = 3 & getdown = false

SMBus Controller: This is not on the driver page even if it worked...

I zipped and attached to the driver that you are interested in below.

Download and uncompress the file in its folder.  Don't do anything with the files in the folder.

Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus who need the pilot.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

    Then restart the PC.
