Can reset my laptop to factory settings delete my mails permanantly?

I have a very serious problem and I want to know that if I reset my hp pavilion g series laptop windows 7 to factory settings removes all the emails I sent and received? I want to know if it's possible that's because I got friendly with a woman on facebook and she got a little too friendly and began to send me emails asking me to have an affair with her, I immediately told her no thank you and that I loved my wife and I would never cheat on her , which in fact aggravated the situation because she then sent me an email saying she had the best night of his life the night before and I've convinced him as no other man had ever done and that she could not wait until next time to make love once again, this woman is completely disturbed and is determined to ruin my marriage I deleted all the emails, but my wife is pretty good with a computer and I'm worried sick she'll recover my emails and feel bad because I think she can say that something is troubling me, in any case could someone please tell me that if I reset my computer to factory settings it would erase these emails for good or it could be the end of a happy marriage I really appreciate it someone could answer me this question because to be honest, I have not much experience with computers and have no idea of what happens when factory settings is used so plz someone help please because I'm going to have a nervous breakdown seriously, thank YOU.

A factory image recovery will delete all emails.

I have to honestly tell you that any decent forensic program will retrieve all emails.

Your best bet is to make sure that you have your game disks recovery and all the license keys for programs installed once you have received your laptop.

Buy a replacement hard drive and install it. If you do not know how, then it done by a PC shop.

Once the new drive is installed, use the serial or usb disk recovery recovery media to return your laptop to its factory delivered State.
