  My partner has just bought a new laptop, Toshiba Satellite C50D-A-138.
  Everything worked very well, the kids have been on it more than him!

  I have a new Satellite 350 running under Windows Vista (SP1).

  I am unable to access the internet despite the recovery disk, disable firewall and antivirus. The computer comes with much unwanted preloaded software. Software Toshiba Config finds no connection problem. External modem works normally with my old computer that runs Windows XP, but not with the same settings on my new.

  First we need some practical information:
  What laptop you have exactly? What is a Satellite L350 for example or another?
  What type of connection do you use? What is WLAN?

  Before connect you to the internet you should check for yellow exclamation marks Device Manager and maybe you have to upgrade your WLAN and LAN card drivers. The two you can find on the Toshiba site.

  Last but not least, you should try to reset the router.

  We have an ASA 5505 ASA 8.2.1 running and using IPSec for Remote access clients in the main office.  Remote access is a lot of work, with full access to network resources in the main office and the only thing I can't get to work is access to internet through the tunnel.  I don't want to use split tunneling.  I use ASDM 6.2.1 for configuration.  Any help is appreciated.  I'm probably missing something simple and it looked so much, I'm probably looking at right beyond the error.  Thanks in advance for your time and help!    Jim

• Can't access Internet Explore after installing the updates of Windows 8

  We are also having the same problem with the installation of these most recent updates; even if the updates are installed, we are unable to access the Internet Explorer.   Hi Marie Thérèse: It turns out that the problem with our provider ISP share the connection between the telephone lines and network service: we called our provider ISP on this issue after you reset Internet Explorer as well as restore to our file system.  The problem has been resolved.  As a matter of interest for others who may have a similar problem with Internet Explorer, we suggest that he contact their ISP provider to determine if the problem can be solved.  Please contact me.  * E-mail address is removed from the privacy *

  One of the solutions proposed in this thread is to reset the Windows TCP/IP stack. In another thread on this reset, several users have posted their newspapers which doubled indicating "access denied" you probably need to run cmd.exe as administrator to overcome that if this happens to you:
