can't see MP3 disc on the CD/DVD drive - I just see it file and no disc displayed. There is no error message; all other disks, file types work very well!
And I already tried the MS Utility to solve this problem. She could not do - he asked me to insert a readable disc (when he could not see the MP3), so insert another disc that was readable. You have this problem with just this one CD?
The CD may be damaged or dirty. Some readers may handle these CDs better than others, so it is perfectly possible that a player can still play the CD, while others do not. I suggest that you create a new copy of the CD on an other machines it can still be read.

I lowered and the mouse works on everything except that it's harder for me to see.HA apparently it was causing a conflict with the mouse. Maybe this will be useful to help someone else down the line. Hi, I have a COMPAQ Presario CQ40 with optiarc DVD RW AD - 7561 ATA Device driver, recently the drive does not work properly. It can read and burn the disc, that I already used, but when it's a new (disc white) it does not read the disc. It has an error message "make sure that the disc uses a format windows recognizes. If the drive is not formatted, you must format it before you use it. "the disc is the format that would recognize the system. I tried to uninstall the drivers and reinstalled from the Device Manager, but nothing works, tried too much microsoft fixit, always the same. Hope that there is another work around here... Thank you...

Computer XP can't see shared files in windows7
My original computer is a desktop like in XP. We use a wireless router for network a new laptop running windows 7. Both computers are having no problem with internet access. I'm following the instructions of network on the microsoft site to set up a home network for two computers, step by step. I've been successful that half - the portable windows7 can now see and share files, an external hard drive and a printer attached to the XP computer. But the XP computer can 'see' the portable windows7, BUT cannot access shared folders or files on the laptop. I'm sure that I shared the files correctly and/or the libraries on the laptop, but none of them appear on the netowrk places. When I look at the "whole" network and go the the correct workgroup, the laptop is here, but as soon as I try to open it I get an error message. " I'm a novice, instructions step by step for a fix would be appreciated.
