Can't separate the headphones and audio speaker

Hello

You just bought a new Acer (E5 - 571G) E15. It works fine, but in my daily life, I have to use headphones a lot (I use any laptop speakers).

But no matter how hard I try, its just so many speakers and the headphones.

I have the latest Realtek HD audio drivers. Realtek recognizes when a device is plugged into the audio jack, but still, under devices 'playback', there is only one option - speakers.

Running Windows 10, Build 10162. The headset works fine on another laptop with the same build.

This is my last resort, please! I don't want to void the warranty by opening manually and by disabling the laptop speakers.

I would try to install the last 2.79 Realtek Realtek Web site:

http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=14&PFID=24&level=4&Conn=3&DownT...

Check "I accept...". »

then choose 32 or 64 bit driver, uninstall your Realtek drivers and then install a new one.
