  I have created an online manual in the CP6 and want to have a slide of table of contents with links to the relevantslides throughout the project. It's pretty small - 42 slides in total. I'm creating HTML5 out to run on iPads. There are a few problems...

  OK, I've created the table of contents in the form of text boxes, and then adds a hyperlink to each entry to access the required slide. When I look in prview, everythuing is good. When I publish HTML5, all breaks go to different slides.

  So I tried a workaround solution - put in the table of contents in the form of text entries, and then add a box to click on each one to access the required slide. This makes the jumps work in HTML5, but if there are more than 17 hyperlinks on the slide, all that goes down when opened on an iPad.

  Everyone knows one of these, and someone has a workaround solution.

  Hi Greg

  I've not seen this in a long time, but this does not mean that it can't happen.

  A few years back we would see where links to the slides would become inconsistent if the slides were changed later. And the fix for that had to make sure that you appointed first of each slide. Then I created the link. With the slide named, it sort of 'locked in' the link so it would remain intact when you rearranged slides.

  Now, I know you specifically said you've done any reorganization of the slide. What you see is a potential "characteristic" (read bug) with Captivate.

  So, you might try providing each of your slides of destination have been appointed. The text or boxes click on a link to the slides and see if the situation improves everything. Maybe it will be and maybe it won't, but it is worth it.

• How to treat the stuttering and jerk in reading

  I am running Windows 7 in a virtual machine VMWare with a Linux host.

  I was happy with first run very well with VMWare 11 and Mint as host.  But with 12 VMWare and OpenSUSE, it's the wrong timing.  I looked at the memory and everything, and it's not bad.  He's even too fast which is not a sign of loss of images, but a sign that the timing is messed up.  I went through the usual treatments for jerky playback and is not the same kind of problem.  I have loads of CPU power, made before the clip and scratch your files on an SSD.

  The problem is not limited to Adobe CC, media playback applications in general.

  Is there something about the way in which multimedia synchronization is made in these applications, which may be the subject of a specific event?

  I have an action on the first slide in my Captivate program (7 Captivate), (press Enter) which says that if your variable = this, go to a slide specific (v_lastmod = 1, jump to slide 4) and I have about 19 of these if statements in the action.

  What I notice is sometimes (intermittently) rather than to go to this particular slide, he would go to the first slide and continue on the second slide (and obviously not stop there since there is a pause button). If I click on update, then it reload again and go to the slide by the action.

  I tried to add a loop where the else statement repeated the action, just in case it might be a problem of preload? That doesn't seem to work. It would be just stuck on the loop. I also tried to add a preloader by default preload that Captivate and always intermittently it crosses the first slide and just keep to the second slide (unless I hit refresh, it will take me to the appropriate slide). I also tried to add Else, keep, but no change.

  It is not a good idea to have such a pretty complicated advanced right action on enter to the first slide. It must be generated at run time and the offset is probably what you see. Try adding a short welcome slide before this slide, which has no action on enter. That might solve your problem in a simple way.

• A way to stop jumping to the order of the day in the tree view of the project?

  Hello Quin,

  Welcome to Clip you can both edit your soundtrack and audio video independently.

  To adjust the volume for your soundtrack, press the icon of music on the top of your screen. Once in the menu of the soundtrack, move the Volume slider to the desired level.

  To adjust the volume of a video clip, select the item in the sequence, press the speaker on the bottom of your screen icon. From there you can mute or increase or decrease the volume using the volume slider.

  You must do this before you add images of the sequence:

  • Select the element (or multiple clips) in the tray
  • Menu > Clip > edit > Audio channels (SHIFT G)
  • Change the 'number of tracks' 2
  • Change the "Format channel" in Mono
  • Reject the message info.

  When you put the clip in a sequence, it will now drop L and R in separate tracks (assuming that your sequence allows this audio model).

• CS3 - adjustment of the left and right channels of an Audio track separately

  I think it's a very stupid question.  I know how do in Avid and FCP, but for the life of me can not understand at first.  I cut a clip and laid it on the timeline.  Now I would like to adjust the audio levels of the clip independently, but there is that one line, passing through the audio clip, and it adjusts the L and R channels at the same time.  Nowhere, not even in the track properties, can I select only the L channel or R channel alone and make this channel upwards or downwards a little without affecting the other.  L and R are grayed out and not selectable.  The properties of the show clip it is stereo, the project settings are stereo, and I was not able to find any info on this problem in the forums here or in the help tool.  Except for something 2 I fell that said that we must go in the settings of the Master Clip and create Mono 2-track stereo channels until you place it on the timeline, but it would be crazy to have to do this for each stereo clip you import ever!  And that makes no sense - "mono" means 2 channels are the same, how can you have two channels "mono"?  What would be the purpose, you only need a "Mono" channel to go to your 2 speakers.  And I don't mean each mono channel to do in any case, I want it to go to the left and R only go towards the right side channel L!  Maybe they use bad word "mono"?  Or maybe I'm a fool and quite simply do not get something (most likely).

  In Avid or FCP you go to audio level "line through the center of each channel and adjust at your leisure

  I do similar, but separate channels in hearing and import the mono files resulting in PrPro.
