can to redeploy us an application without having any failure to the application

Hi all

Please clear my doubt, there seems to be a stupid question. But he asked in one interview.

Is it possible to transfer an application with having a failure to the application on the weblogic Server?

If I want to transfer any war or ear file, I must first cancel the deployment of the server and deploy again the same. But once I have cancel the deployment of the server application will be a failure. I don't want that to happen.

And don't forget that the failover is not accepted.

When I think about it, that I had an idea how it can be possible if tells us the application in another server admin while a server admin does the redeployment process. This means that the same cluster failover.

First of all, is it possible to have 2 admin server in a cluster? In this case, we can define what server must be active. We have two servers admin in our project, but the other server failover comes into picture only when the primary Management Server is facing down.

Please let me know if im not clear enough

Hello

Is it possible to transfer an application with having a failure to the application on the weblogic Server?

Yes, it's possible--but the technique is called * "Hot deployment" or "Redeployment of Production" or "Versioning."

Here is a full demonstration and an example for this:
