Can we have better geo-tagging?

I have PSE9 on Windows 7. It's a shame the program uses Yahoo maps instead of Google. Sometimes, that means I have to find a specific location in Google maps and then try to find the location on the map of Yahoo. I tried the geo-tagging in Picasa (which itself connects to Google Earth). It works for upload files to Flickr Flickr recognizes the geo-tagger that Google Earth has written to the file (as it does with the written too PSE9 tag). But organizing PSE9 does not recognize a geo - tag already in a file created, say, by Google Earth. For that matter, neither does Google Earth read the existing geo-tagger I can say.

I thought it would be wonderful to have a geo-tagging function in my camera itself save me all these redundant activities, but then PSE9 wouldn't recognize the geo-tagger produced by my camera and I have to redo the tag.

Is this something in the pipeline? Summary: the ability to PSE9 automatically read a geo - tag in a jpeg file and place a marker to the appropriate place on the map.

And better maps would be nice. Never tried to locate a street in rural Romania in Yahoo maps?

When you geotag a photo outside of the PES, and PES is unclear on this issue. You must inform the PES there is a Geotagging from another source in any important photo in EPS, or if it has been already imported, I think that update the thumbnail will cause PSE to recognize the geotag.

Regarding the rest of your comments:

As another user of the PSE, I don't think that this will be high on the priority list of Adobe.

They had a map of working and usable in PSE5 function, then they have rewritten the entire application (not just the part of the map) to PSE6 and the map function has been largely useless since then, causing the entire application to slow down if you have a lot of geotags.

    You can try this.

    (1) view all photos

    (2) check the keyword tag you are interested in

    (3) under Options, Select hide correspond better results & show results that do not match (i.e. reverse the last two conditions).

    That should show you what you wanted to see

    (4) now use the option high save search criteria as Smart Album and give it a name

    This seems to remember the conditions reversed and the tag.

    Yes, I have several versions of firefox are installed. Firefox 3.6 is always taken in charge and course, there is the beta, the Aurora and the roads every night. I'm guessing that the other default channels install in clean places out there rather than overwrite your current installation, if not choose the custom installation option.

    This is something advanced, generally used by developers etc.

    CARE do not uninstall and take an option to remove personal settings, but that is written, as that attempts to remove all the profile data for all versions Firefox installed, you will lose the passwords and bookmarks etc..

    Use unique profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data for each version, or you will have problems.

    It pretty much applies to Windows XP, too. (Microsoft has removed most Windows XP of the database-specific help pages already.)

    It is not recommended to run two anti-virus programs at the same time.  It will make the System unstable, crashes, slow performance and so on.  It is better to use a program that you trust on a regular basis and if you want to double check this program, use a parser in line one of the main websites AV.

    Already had Acrobat 9 Extended Pro that was lost when my hard drive crashed.  Adobe no longer supports this version and serial number no longer works.  In any case, it's my problem and the loss at this point.  I used this version of Acrobat for pdf files of Geo tag with geographic coordinates.  My question is what version currently supported in Acrobat contains this feature?   Thanks in advance,

    You can create a geospatial PDF in one of these ways:

    • Open a geospatial enabled TIFF (GeoTIFF) or JPEG 2000 file
    • Do a map in PDF format or scanning of geospatial data

    When you open an imported file, measurements, position of the comma, and length are displayed in the point of geographical coordinates, you can change, measure, and mark up. You can also mount a map in PDF from a variety of sources.

    Overview of rates sometimes full with audio frame is totally useless (think of a project with a massive number of Trapcode particular) the new preview options are great, but the lack of a preview option that allows you no audio cache is a real control. Can we have the default behavior reading back? even just as an option? If people don't want it, they don't have to turn it on!

    Sorry, but 'better' is not the same thing. I had already read through the changes of functionality, and the new preview customization process is great. What I've discovered since however is that even with the audio muted in the Preview Panel, audio is always cached. This can be easily demonstrated by the audio tracks of inhibition, decreases the delay before playback begins dramatically. Course of inhibition/reactivate securities is not an effective solution when you aim to work as efficiently as possible. The obvious solution is that if the button ' mute audio ' in the Preview Panel has also prevented audio caching.

    I submitted a feature request, if all goes well, I'm not the only feeling to this effect on their workflow and the problem is fixed, I think not that it is to ask for the Moon! The rest of CC2015 seems fine, some really interesting new features, its only presents a scarecrow tiny teeny I have!

  • Can't keep the IndexIX tag in the lists of bookmarks

    For some reason some of my book files don't seem to have 'knowledge' of the IndexIX paragraph tag, I need to create PDFs from a book of FM (so it will go in the list of bookmarks), and also for when I generate a table of contents, because I want to understand the chapter of the index in the table of contents.

    If I start with a book file that does not have the IndexIX tag in one of these lists of bookmarks (include or do not include the tag), I have no idea how add it. I can't find anything about this in the help files and I spent a lot of time to research.

    I found a solution, which is to copy a book file from some other book that shows the IndexIX tag in the list include or not include. I delete all files of the FM from the book file, and then I add the files of the current book that I'm trying. This book file refers to the IndexIX tag. I have rename the address for the current title of the book, and I was.

    However, even this workaround doesn't work not today. The IndexIX tag is there in the first place (because it's in the book file that I copied), but after I added a few files in the book, he suddenly disappears. I did not understand what exactly is causing that. But there must be a normal way to add a paragraph tag in a book file.

    The paratag of IndexIX should be treated as reserved tag (as FM automatically generates for the building block page number on the reference page). According to Bob, just use the same paratag of titration you use in other files for the title of the chapter. Then place the chapter title index as the first entry in the body of the Index page. FM will not delete this entry when re-generating the index.

    I'm working on an image and I want to make changes to only certain parts. For example, I already have an adjustment of levels on a levels layer. Now, I want to make an adjustment of levels on another part after using the quick selection tool and I clicked on new adjustment layer and choose levels. I clicked on the layer > reorganize (I use a Mac) bring layer forward, I'm working on it. I noticed that the big picture, I'm working on that changed according to the order of the levels layer or on any other layer.  But that's okay, because when I send this layer 2 levels after working on it, my image looks the way I want it. I'm doing this right?

    Can I have several levels (or other) of the layers I want? I have a choice either choose create new levels adjustment layer or duplicate the background layer and then will improve > light adjust and levels here? Also, if I want to use the Spot Healing Brush or Clone Stamp tool, can I create a layer for this by duplicating the background layer, or just to make these changes on the image? I want to use layers because the changes are reversible, and if I don't like a change later, I can get rid of him. Last point, once I tried to use the clone tool, but the changes did not. I think I was working in a levels layer. Should I try to use the Clone Stamp tool on a layer of levels or create another layer, if possible, for cloning?

    You make more work for yourself as necessary.  Always perform your choice of area first, then when you create a levels adjustment layer, the layer will be hidden automatically to your selection and you don't have to worry about the order of the layers:

    I do not know the limit of layers, you can have, but it's a lot.  If you encounter the limit, you're doing something not particularly good.

    You are absolutely right on using layers because of its reversibility and power refine the effect using them, so it is usually better to not use to strengthen... Adjust lighting... Levels on the image unless it will be used for a quickie.

    It is usually a good idea to start your editing by making a copy of the background layer and do the cloning or spot on this layer copy of healing.  Apply the same reasons: you can remove the layer of the copy if you get into trouble and still have the original background layer in a first time again.

    The Clone tool works on a layer of the image.  Make sure that the part of the image on the layer is active - it will have a box around it, if it is.

    I have several "main content" ID tags and other identification labels that are in their midst.

    When I made the page, I did several identification labels, but instead, I made the page in a template

    who had "Repeatable regions" and as I have repeated these areas within a page, the ID's were taken over as well.

    So now, I have more than one ID go to the bottom of my page.  How can I fix and replace them with the CLASS ID

    Of course, I need to make this change on the model, it can CORRECTLY update all pages I built off of it.

    Will it change each page produced manually, because they are all the "editable regions" or can I just change the model. The 'essential' is not a modifiable, but all the products/picture ID box are.

    Please give advice on how I can fix the ID multiple tags for the types of tags appropriate without ruining my work. I tried and it made a mess, so I just did a not save it.
