Cannot cancel the subscription after the months of testing

I have tried to give up my Adobe Stock project since last month and have not managed to do it again. I don't know what is happening, but whenever I try to cancel, I don't see the option to do so under the details of the plan. And now I get a notification of my credit card saying there is an attempt to charge me something I tried before my trial ended but had no success. And apparently, it's the norm for other users who started this 'free trial' and are having no luck cancellation. What is the problem?

    I work for a charity.  I thought I was ordering a "first month free" access to the photos of our Christmas appeal.
    I used it once, just once, back in November 2015 and didn't know that my charitable organization was paying every month since then.

    When I called to cancel the subscription, they hit me with a tax heavy addition $120!
    So, because of the very misleading advertising, my charitable organization paid $120 for 4 months of subscriptions not used (for a single photo!)

    and must now pay $ 120.

    Adobe should be ashamed of himself.  This practice of 'contract' is misleading.

    You can suspend or cancel a subscription to the month by accessing your account on Adobe.com. To cancel a one year subscription, you must call the Adobe Customer Service. If you decide to end a subscription of one year before the 12 month period, you will be charged 50% of the amount remaining on your contract. Subscriptions cancelled within the first 30 days will be refunded in full.

    I met my annual contract commitment, towards the end that sent me an email letting me know the annual contract was ending. The email said I had to stop the automatic renewal or the number of members would continue, which I stop automatic renewal. Once I have stop, I received an email stating that my CC would turn to a free account. When I tried to cancel my account, I was sent to the CS chat who told me that I never stopped automatic renewal and the reason why I have not been charged is due to problem with my credit card billing.     Because you have joined an annual subscription payable in monthly installments, not a monthly subscription and Adobe wants to talk to you to see if they can get allows you to keep, or at least know why you want to cancel.
