Cannot change text layers different justifications

Hello


I have a script in which I add 2 text layers, and on one of them, I want the justification to be right and the other on the left. I must be missing something really simple because everything I try gives them both have the same justification. Help appreciated!

(some vars are not here because they are part of other codes, but they all work. The problem is just justification)

There is a bug in After Effects, where the justification always returns left when the value by a script if the last character in text is a space or return character. Difficult to know if it is the problem of the info you gave, but it's the only question I know associated justification if your code is otherwise works as expected.

The workaround for this is to set justification when the text is set on something more regular, and then modify the text as a separate after process.

    I'm trying to re - edit text in a .psd file.  I tried:

    • Select the layer on the text
    • Select the text tool

    According to all forum messages/help videos I watched, I thought I was supposed to be able to change the text this elsewhere, but all that happens is that it allows me to add a new text layer.  I'm sorry if the answer to that has already been posted, but I could not find.  I appreciate all help.

    I think that I finally thought to it! The layer has been simplified, because there is no "T" in the text icon in the layers panel.  I don't remember to simplify, but somehow I must have.  I tried to create a new text box, and of course, even after it hit the green check mark to accept all of the settings I've chosen initially, I could go back and change it.  A disappointment, because now I need to go back and understand exactly how I had it before, but at least the mystery is solved.  Thanks for the suggestions.

    I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro and I can't be able to bulk modify the properties of the text field...

    When you select 1 cell, I get the following tabs:

    General | Appearance | Options | Actions | Format | Validate | Calculate

    But when I select more than one cell I get the following tabs:

    General | Appearance | Options | Actions

    I'm trying to modify all cells to convert the 'Number' format, but I just can not understand as the option disappears from bulk.

    What do I have to use Javascript? Surely it shouldn't be this hard... If Microsoft Excel can do!

    In fact, this is not true. You can set some parameters like that, but not things like Format settings, Validation or calculations. The only way to do it in Acrobat for several fields is by using a script.

    If I (put) understand, you can simply create a region Type, and then select with the normal (black) selection tool, then set the fill color to none in the Toolbox, and then click Add a new fill in the appearance palette and with the selected fill (yet) set your colour (ing) desired.

  • Start the 2 layers of text at different times

    Hello

    I have 2 text layers each with the underscore preset animation. They are both located in different places on the screen. (1 left upper and one lower-right)

    I can't work how to do what they trigger at the same time.

    upper left corner should appear close to beginning of composition then stay on until the end, down right needs fire to say 50% then stay on for the rest of the clip.

    I tried to add keyframes at the beginning and end of the options, but it did not work.

  • Cannot change the links applied to the text after the update of the MUSE

    This same event happened to me after you apply the update to MUSE before the update today, 08/01/2013.  All the links that are applied to the text on my web pages still exist, however, I cannot change.  The same situation applies to the associated ToolTip.  Please note that the links exist yet - I am simply unable to change after you apply the update today.  If I preview the page in a browser or that you publish the page, all the links work.  The only way I can apply a change is to remove each link and recreate.

    In addition, please note that links that I created in the vertical menu widgets appear very well!  I can view and edit them.  It seems that this problem only affects links applied to the text.  The images are included for reference.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

    Hello

    What version of Muse you were updated to? We made a few changes important UI hyperlinks for version 3, which came out a month ago, so the passage of the 2.x to 3.x would cause some of these issues. I'm trying just to rule out the possibility that the upgrade to 3.0 or 3.1 and 3.2 caused this, because just dot release had a bug fixes.

    I have a picture in the background layer to which I've added lines and text in several layers. I want to change the color of the lines and text without having to change each layer individually. Is it possible to do this in Macintosh PE 3.0?

    If the text of text layers you can link text and layers with one of the linked text layers selected in the layers palette

    the tool selected text, press the SHIFT key and choose your color in the options toolbar.

    Are the lines of the shape layers or layer pixelated?

    I have recently started using CS4 (which I love) but I am having some problems with my blocks of text and vertical justification. I set up the text block, but when I move the text frame is not justified upward. It's as if the image moves without the text.

    You probably have it snap to the grid.

    View > grid and guides > show baseline grid

    When you have a snap-to-grid text, this means that the bottom of the text must always touch one of these lines, then you would be able to move the frame without text on the go, you must move the frame enough to text to sit on the next line.

    To disable this feature, go to the style of point and called paragraph withdrawal and spacing.

    Here you will see snap it to grid.

    Alternatively, you can disable it in the paragraph Panel, if you are not styles.

  • I think I found a bug with CC 14 in what text layers will not be rendered. Super boring!

    I just changed a video on Youtube and I noticed that my text layers, which I have added to my images wouldn't make out in video. Rather my video to freeze, and then start playing again. I tried to make out in ProRes format and it happened again. So I just wanted to make the text and low and here the screen was blank. I just changed recently cs6 y at - there a way around this? It's a good thing that I discovered this at the beginning because I always have my 30days to cancel.

    I'm editing on a Macbook Pro retina 15 inches with 2 GB Nvidia card and 16 GB of RAM.

    In addition to the oddities that Ann has been noted, the sequence is interlaced while the export parameters are progressive. I have no particular reason to think that one of these weird little details would cause a problem, but it is of course an original set of properties.

    I would start by checking with a more normal scenario to see if the problem persists:

    1. New project
    2. New sequence, using a 1080 preset, such as AVCHD 1080 p 24.
    3. Create a universal counting Leader and a title and add both to the timeline.
    4. Export to the same preset from YouTube.

    If the result of this sequence has the same problem, then it's time to collect information about your system: OS version, map chart & driver, if you have installed the codecs.

    If the title survives the test, then start to tweak things in the direction of the problematic sequence, change only one variable at once--adding weird 29.99 video AVCHD, changing a single sequence setting in time, etc.. Export after each change and see if the problem returns.

    Tests should also be:

    1. Try the different paths of coding: 'in-process' by clicking Export in the export and through SOUL settings dialog box by clicking on queue.
    2. In the SOUL, encode with the Import parameter sequences enabled natively, then again with the option turned off. [Preferences > General]
    3. Test rendering to GPU acceleration engine and with him assign software only [file > Project Settings > General.

  • Why my text layers are turning to the jibberish?

    I have the computer which is a duplicate of another comp that I added about 20 layers of text too. I did it because it is a series of videos of 6 part with the same minute long intro. It was filmed on a green and hidden background with primatte. I use police in Kandal of TypeKit. I used this font for the last 6 months with no problems.

    Just before I went on h.264 I restarted my computer (as I usually do) so the RAM would be clearly and he would make a few minutes faster. When I opened the project to the top I noticed that the model of third lower, I added was jibberish fonts and text layers. It is also apparent that way inside After Effects. It is not consistent and effects of different images in different areas and it affects all the text. Someone please tell me how to solve this problem. Screenshots below (I've cut out a lot because it's a customer)

    Looks like fonts corrupted for me. Try to change the font in AE and see if the text clears. If it does not try then type something again. Failure tell us everything you can on your project, and try to remember what anyone who may have changed since this project has worked successfully.

  • Cannot change printers, reset failed.

    I cannot change my printer using Firefox. When I try to select another printer from the dropdown menu, the menu will close and I'm still on the printer I used.     cannot change the homepage. moved and home page continues to last residence (router: 192.168.1.1). Now I want a different home page. I tried tools > use current > OK, but my old 192.168.1.1 comes back.

    In Safari, I go to Google.com and do a google search. So far so good.

    Now, on the search results page, I try to edit the search in the Google search bar and nothing happens - the Google search bar is totally insensitive. To do another search, I use the address bar in Safari or reload google.com.

  • Print texts in different formats on a single page

    Is it possible to print on one page text in different fonts and sizes? It seems that PrintTextBuffer prints all text on a single page at a time and there is no chance to change the format. Thank you

    I must confess that I give you this suggestion, but I did not use these functions for several years ; test your function on my system now (CVI 2009SP1 on Win7 with HP LaserJet printer) I have the same results as you.

    Due to the limitations of this method of printing, I moved quickly to the other printing modes: there are many discussions you will find in the forums on the reports, but basically, you can:

    • Create a hidden Panel 'report' where to print your data on the standard controls (strings, numbers, graphs, tables and so on) and use PrintPanel to print it
    • Use NIReports instrument
    • Use Office report print (via Word or Excel)
    • Create a PDF file
    • ... (other methods that I can't think of right now)

    One is probably the fastest: you already used to create panels and after a short trial, you can set the correct control/panel aspect for a good report. It also allows you a limited preview if you want to.
