Cannot choose to update its time of 7.7.3 7.7.7

Hello!

I sincerely hope that's no stupid question...

I simply can't update my Capsulte time: I opened the airport serviceprogram, see my time its and voila! There is a red "1!" right on behalf of my TC blinking in orange. When I click on the Red "1", it shows a popup window small namce, one IP, seiral number and the status field there is the status "making available". So far so good. I click on the 'update available' (sorry, it's translated from the German, but to the text "firmware update" available in English original version) and another pop-up menu shows the options "ignore" and "install update".

Can I choose 'ignore' which is highlighted when a mouse on it BUT I can NOT CHOOSE "install update". It is grayed out.

Someone at ideas what to do? A reboot didn't help, waiting has not helped and I don't want to ignore the update.

Thank you very much in advance,

Best regards

Michael

How the TC is connected to the internet? That is to say it is connected to another router? Is the TC in bridge mode or router?

What model is precisely the TC?

The upgrade can be done manually... but I need details to help you.

If the TC is the height, there is only one model... Just so say much.

If it is flat, I need to know what gen.

Either return the TC and get me the model number A1xxx on the base... or double-click the icon (option click also work) to get the summary page... the model is listed on top.

  • Windows cannot check the updates - C800044E error code

    Hello

Since yesterday, I get a notification icon in the taskbar indicating that windows cannot check the updates. If I click on the icon and then click on the button "check for updates" in the new window, the search end reports that an error has occurred and the error code is C800044E. This happens every time after the computer starts and when I try to manually check for updates.

The operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit with OEM license.

I already googled for this error code, but none of the suggestions found during the search worked. Mode by default with no results, I installed the MicrosoftFixit50202 (have not tried yet aggressive mode). I ran the malware Microsoft Windows (without threats found) removal tool. I downloaded and installed manually the KB947821 update for vista, also without results.

The last successful update is dated more than a month previously, and I assume that at the same time, some important updates may appear. Can someone help me with this problem?

I've already solved the problem by using the system restore (I used a restore enjoyed a week point).

I'll answer your questions anyway, in which case this may help solve one similar problem to others:

    1 Vista SP2 (all updates important/critical installed as of October 1, 2010)

    2. Eset NOD32 antivirus/antispyware with current subscription. No third-party firewall (just the windows firewall).

3-4. I have never installed a Norton or McAfee application on this computer, but I'm not sure if a trial version of Norton AV is pre-installed with this computer (if it did, I removed it when I originally set up the computer - almost 3 years ago).

Do some basic cleaning and updates that may resolve your problem (also - check your time and date - as well as your setting time zone...)

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find. Reboot when necessary. (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

While probably not 100% necessary-, it is probably a good idea at this time to ensure that you continue to get the updates you need. This will help you ensure that your system update is ready to do it for you.

Download and run the MSRT tool manually:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx
(Ignore the details and download the tool to download and save to your desktop, run it.)

    Reset.

Download/install the latest program Windows installation (for your operating system):

    and...

Download the latest version of Windows Update (x 86) agent here:

    --> Click OK.

(If asked, select 'Run'). --> Click on NEXT--> select 'I agree' and click NEXT--> where he completed the installation, click "Finish"...

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in. Look for whatever it is you do not know usingGoogle (or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:
