Cannot connect my new HP4620 wireless all-in-one printer on my local network

The printer is aHP 4620 all-in-one wireless printer.  The network is a Linksys Wireless - G Broadband Router connect an old HP Pavilion zv6000. portable 32-bit laptop running Windows XP and my brand new Pavilion dv6-7010us 64-bit running Windows 7.

First of all, I ran the installation disc for the printer on the Pavilion zv6000.  Wireless Setup went well without any problem the printer connected to the router and to enable printing of thezv6000...  Then, I loaded the printer installation disc in the new Pavilion dv6-7010 and started the installation.  Everything went well until what the installer told me to connect the USB cable between the printer and the computer, and shortly there after that I got an error message an unknown error and that the installation program has been stopped.

Since then I ran, I think, all the trouble shooting programs recommended with different results, all unsatisfactory.  Right now the test of the last wireless network said that the wireless is on, the wireless works. The connected test did not run.  the major flaw is that the SSID was not found, but there were 5 other networks detected.   The current configuration is: SSID is not set, the Mac address is OK, No IP address is defined, mode of Communication is Infrastructure and Authentication Type is open system.

Printer is no longer printing of thezv6000.  However the zv6000 both my IPAD become jobs printed via

HP eprint.  It does not appear that there is something wrong with the printer mainly a configuration problem.   Any suggestion would be

greatly appreciated.

  • Printing DCP color red problem - HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All - in - One Printer, the 4th copy

I have a HP HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless all-in-One Printer and try to print 75 copies of a program for our event. After the first 5-6 pages the RED in my program starts to turn magenta. I have new HP ink cartridges and print on HP Color Injet paper. I have renectly replaced the Black/Yellow Printhead (at least 6 months ago). At the beginning when I cleaned the printheads, I was able to print 2 or 3 pages showing my color RED. Then back to magenta. When I received the images of test after you have cleaned the print heads, they are all perfect, no lines.

What happens and how can I solve this problem?

    Hi TM1997,

    Thanks for the reply!

Given that the printer seems to work for a bit and then comes back to the same question, it must be a problem with the printhead (Cyan/Magenta one) or the ink lines that go from the cartridges to print heads. First of all, I would suggest that you check the warranty date on your printhead C/M. If it is under warranty contact HP Technical Support in your area and inquire about a replacement, but if not, it's you if you want to replace the print head, printer service, or look into an upgrade.

    Have a great weekend!

How can I re - adjust the internet printer or the computer setting so that it is compatible again? My printer just wirelss button continues to Flash, as it cannot connect. • Black cartridge does not print 6500 wireless all-in-one printer

He can't get a black cartridge to print even after cleaning the print heads on my of 6500 all-in-one wireless printer.  I tried cleaning the heads of print and sensors twice no longer useful, but can print color.

jweatherly, unfortunately, it seems that your printhead may be dried or damaged. I would recommend that you replace it if a local retailer or through HP directly.

However, the print heads can be an expensive part of the printer to replace. On this thread (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Printing-Questions/HP-6500-Office-jet-E709a-Black-printer-cartridge-HP-920-not/m-p/447545#M28623) Bob describes some steps to clean the printhead in a more direct way. It might be useful to follow the steps, he did and see if it improves your print quality, since he worked for others.

  • Connect laptop computer Win7 wireless all in one single premium 309g

For some reason when I try to connect my Win7 laptop to my home network and the premium all in a 309g printer which is connected wireless to my network home and trying to get the printer to print on my laptop, in the add printer box, it turns out the printer 2 times. The first time as Photosmart premium 309g and there still the same name of the printer, but with "HPOB437F" in the name of the printer. most later showing a green check mark. The two printer icons look like 2 different model printers. Also when I click on my computer with drives C, D, G, then Z to the printer. When I got this installed printer before ever stood there.

Any help in setting up my installation would be appreciated.

A may be associated with the simple operation of the system driver and the other related to the complete HP software.

Delete the one with less settings, I guess.

  • B110A Photosmart wireless all-in-one printer

Printer continues to disconnect from the wireless connection, tried to put a static IP address, but not luck. Other available solutions? Can I change the parameters of confirmation for the printer?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Darren

    To restore the default settings.
    1. go into the Setup menu
    2 network
    3. restore default settings

If you restore the default settings, it will take the printer to the network. You will not have an IP address until you reconnect the printer to the router again. If you want to print, and the computer has different IP address, you will need to UPDATE on the computer IP ADDRESS.

    1. click on Start Menu
    2. all programs
    3 file HP
    4. choose the Photosmart printer
    5. update the IP address

  • Cannot install the driver for HP all-in-One Printer

I received a message "Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error trying to install it. The system cannot find the specified file. "I have uninstalled/reinstalled, downloaded updates etc, and HP has attempted to resolve my problem nothing works remotely. Why? Simple answers please!

Get a new copy of the software from HP.com (you don't mention that you AIO so I can't give you the exact link, but click on drivers & Software on the HP site and enter the exact model of the printer, then download the version for Vista 32 or 64 bit, depending on what you have).  Use the option to save to your computer.  Don't forget where you download it.

Navigate to the file, right-click on it and select run as administrator.

You should now be able to do everything that your printer is capable of.
