Cannot connect Tecra A9 to my WLan router

Hello

Can someone help me please.
I have a Tecra A 9 series with VISTA as an operating system. I have problems with my wireless connection.

If the switches and wireless lights are on, I can always connect to my wireless router. I can only connect to the internet via the wireless when the ethernet cable is connected to the laptop for about five minutes.

It remains lit when the cable is disconnected, but if the computer goes to sleep or restarted, wireless connection is lost unless the s cable reconnected. Although the wireless light will be orange instead of green?

I'll be very grateful if someone can offer me solutions please.
Thank you

In your case, I'd do a BIOS and driver update. You can find updates on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

In addition, test the WIFI connection without security settings. This means hidden SSID, MAC address filtering,
And don t forget to check if the router and the laptop using the same standard WLAN.

  • Satellite L670 - unable to connect to my 802.11n WLAN router

    Hello

I have a new Satellite L670 with Windows 7 Home Premium. With this laptop I can connect to my network 802.11 g WLAN. Everything works very well. Now I wanted to connect to my 802.11n wlan (router: linksys wrt610n) but it does not work. Laptop can't see the network (ssid) and it does not work if I entered the ssid manually too. The network works with my mac mini perfectly if it is not a failure of the 802.11n.

I have updated all drivers from the laptop, all the updates that are installed under windows and I tested the driver broadcom broadcom itself (once the driver from toshiba Web site and the other driver from broadcom site) but nothing works. Laptop can't see the ssid and a manual configuration do not work too.

    Can someone help me pls?

  • Cannot connect Tecra M10 to the Internet

My wife has a TecraM10 with an Intel 82567LM gigabit wired network adapter. It cannot connect to the Internet via either wired LAN by plugging directly into the container of Cat 5 to the rear of the machine or the thorugh a docking station.

A diagnosis indicates that the LAN switch is turned off and check the manual as to his location to turn it on.

I can't find a reference to a LAN switch in the manual. I checked TCP/IP protocols and they progress ste correctly and the device manager says it's working properly.

    Any ideas? Thank you. John

    Hello John

Card LAN installed and listed correctly in the Device Manager?
    >... LAN switch is off
Laptops doesn t have LAN switch. WLAN spend only so I t understand how you can get this message.

Please check device manager first and let me know if the network card is OK here?
When you connect the LAN cable to your Tecra is green LED ON?

By the way: did you test connecting to the local network using another PC/computer laptop?

  • Cannot connect Tecra 8200 wireless network

I have an old laptop Tecra 8200, I recently bought a wireless router but I can't get the laptop to connect to it.
He sees the network and attempts to connect to it, but after a few minutes it stops and returns looking for available wireless networks.
The laptop uses windows XP with service pack 2.
Everything on the laptop is standard and I did no improvement to him so there the standard network card. I don't know if this is the problem and that is that I'm not sure what network card enough.

What card Wlan do you use?
Check Wlan card details in the Device Manager.

Looks a bit a problem of compatibility between the wireless network card and router.
Please make sure that your wireless network card uses the same Wlan standard IE. 802 11 B G etc. as the Wlan router.

What you could do is update the Wlan driver too.

  • Cannot connect Tecra 9000 to wireless network

    Hello

I am trying to connect my laptop Toshiba T9000 to my BT home Hub 2.0 Wireless v but a little difficulty.
The laptop recognizes the hub, but every time I click on connect, I get the same message.

""Windows cannot connect to the selected network. " The network can be is no longer in range. Please refresh the list of available networks and try to connect again"

I went through a few troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem, but always without success.
Can I update the driver? My inclination is that this may have something to do with the laptop is not able to support WPA?

I am not very computer but if anyone has any additional input to help me with this question then I would be very happy.

    Kind regards

    This may be possible

The point is that this laptop is an oldie and the wireless network adapter appears to be old too.
I ve no idea what WLan card you have, but you could try to connect to the WLan without use of encryption settings. Disable encryption on the router Wlan and test connectivity again. of course, this must be done only for testing purposes
The wireless network must be always secure

The alternative could be the use of external USB WLAN, it would be the easiest and fastest way for that to be resolved

    Hello

You are looking for in this forum for similar issues and proposals of solution?
Do this! There are enough discussions on these issues.

What have you already tried to solve this problem?

I mean that should first be the Wlan.
Then you should put a right SSI, encryption, and password encryption.

    Did you do that?

  • Cannot connect the Satellite A660 to WLan - card not found Intel

I unboxed it today and connected to my home wireless network. Everything was fine.
I propose then my laptop in the living room where the router and the modem is, the connection dies less than a minute or two.
Then he says that there are no networks in range at all, cannot detect everything.

I troubleshoot it and the results are: he says: problem with the router / access point is fixed; and another notification that says a network cable is disconnected or may be broken. I have no cable so idk why he tries a wired connection. I reset my router and tried everything.

I take her back to połączyćto left home in my room and it works fine, no drop outs.
It's all new, satellite a66. I made sure that my data was on and the wifi is good.

Another notification appears when I troubleshoot that says "My technology Intel wifi adapter not found" idk what it is all...

    Thank you.

    JD

    > Another notification appears when I troubleshoot that says "My technology Intel wifi adapter not found" idk what it is all...
Because of this message, I would recommend checking the status of the WiFi (WLan card) adapter in Device Manager.
You could uninstall the WLan driver in Device Manager.
Then you need to download the latest driver from this page:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

and should install the new drivers.
Reconfigure the Wlan connection and test functionality.

PS: Please make sure that the WiFi was enabled (FN + F8) before trying to set up the connection.

  • Wireless devices cannot connect to each other using the router EA6900

I use the 2.4 Ghz network and none of my wireless devices are able to communicate with each other...  I could not connect to a wireless printer to my laptop wireless (through the router) and thought it was unusual.  I tried ping does not work either.  I then plugged a cable ethernet to the laptop and could ping the printer wireless without a problem.   I tried other devices (wired and wireless connections) and it seems that no wireless device can ping any other wireless device.  If, however, one of the devices is connected, it works fine...  All wireless devices to connect to the router and internet without problem... It's just when they try to communicate with each other.  I have experimented with the desktop using the ethernet adapter, then the wireless adapter... same results.  My wireless using my previous router devices could communicate with each other.  It's almost as if this device has insulated AP running if this so-called it doesn't support that.

Customer service said: I'm the only one with this problem.  Does anyone else have this problem?

I have an ea6900 and it works fine for me. Sounds almost like you are connected to the guest network which would be sort of this way. Did you do a power reset? It has never worked? Try to remove the power and back to see if it clears up it.

  • Cannot connect to all games online with router Linksys, (WTR54G)

I've tried everything, and this problem is fairly recent. I can run the internet just fine, but when it comes to connect with STEAM or any other multiplayer games, simply don't connect. I tried to take on the walls of fire and port forwarding. I also tried to use a static IP address, nothing. I have seen many others with this problem and they never have the problem sloved. Hope you can help me.

Called my brother and fix the problem, it is the COMODO. Even when you turn it off it always runs in the background and it does not leave out all connections. Linksys should have thought of that after that they told me 500 different things.
