HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p119: USB charge, but does not sync devices

Dear folk to HP support,

With any device (iPad, Samsung Galaxy, FIIO x 1), if I plug it into my laptop the device starts to load, but is not synchronized and I can't access or transfer data between the laptop and the device.

I tried to disable the drivers and their reset. I tried to reset hard devices. None of these help.

This laptop came with pre-installed Windows 8.1. I have it wiped and now have a manually installed Windows 10 (64-bit). I have difficulties to find specific drivers. I used the HP support assistant and he tells me that everything is up to date. Windows tells me as the drivers are up to date, but I wonder if the drivers are generic and not specific to this laptop.

Where I find a better driver? Or are there other solutions?

I read that you are having problems with the HP Pavilion 15 - p119 Notebook and recognize a USB device. Here is a link to solve the USB connections.

I would like to uninstall all listed in the universal serial bus controllers list.

Please note remove any and all USB devices and remove the memory card in the slot of the card reader. Disconnect all non-essential devices before you uninstall the controller Universal serial bus.

Restart your computer, and then insert the USB device.

  • V-191 charges, but does not appear as a USB Linux volume

    Today, I bought a V - 191 used from a local distributor of cell.

    1. There is no manual for this specific model, but it looks like a V-195 except bluetooth and case color capacity. Can anyone confirm this?

    2. There is no element of menu connection under settings, only a part of synchronization that allows you to specify one or more URLS. One guess on how it would set up to talk directly to a USB port?

    3. I use a Canon microUSB cable because no OEM provided with this phone data cable, but have seen the posts suggesting that this could be a problem. But point 4 below makes me doubt that there is a cable problem.

    4. under Windows XP SP3, the device appears when it is plugged into a USB port as "Motorola V191 don't", but the Device Manager it shows with a yellow question mark and nor the two disk volumes is accessible - probably because the proper drivers have not been installed.

    Yes looks someone concocted the phone. The V190 phone has an antenna and the V191 does not. I noticed you provided a partial IMEI but it wasn't all 15 digits, so I couldn't look up. Given that the two models are listed, you should always be able to use the current version of MPT via the link provided at the bottom of the page banner.

    Regarding the USB cable. Click on the link at the bottom of this thread for the MotoStore and then look the SKN6371 which is a miniUSB cable. I'm sure this is the right cable for your phone to 95%.

    No worries to be a Luddite. Things can be complicated when you have a phone from another region and you are trying to use it where you live. It does not help that the phone has been collected or the other.

  • Battery "connected, charge", but DOES not charge.

    I've recently updated in Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium.  With Vista, my battery played very beautifully and I've never had problems.  As soon as I have upgraded to Windows 7, I currently has the following problem:

    When I hover over the battery icon in the system tray, it says ' 19% available (plugged in, load).  However, the battery is not at all.  The small farm level animation stops and, although the system seems to thinking that is my battery charge, it is not.  When I first installed the new OS, battery charges to 69% with the same problem, so he went up to 75 percent for about 1 week before in free fall, so that now my battery charge limit is 19%, which, as you can imagine, takes about 15 minutes to the battery power.

    After several redundant and unnecessary communications with Microsoft, I thought that maybe someone on this forum might have experience with this problem or any suggestions on what I could try.

    Note that it is NOT apparently common problem some people have with the battery saying "plugged in, not charging", that my system is specifically stated the battery recharges when it is not.

    It took me some time to get even Microsoft agree the problem they insisted that it was because my battery is a bit old.  However, this happens with the two batteries that I own, using a charger that I have, and, as I said before, it started just when I installed clean Windows 7.

    We had this problem. I suggest to contact the manufacturer of the system, and you may need to replace the bettery.

  • Premiere Pro CC 2015 active charges but does not actually open.

    Processor: AMD FX (tm) - 8350 eight cores processor (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz

    So I tried the first uninstall and reinstall after rebooting my computer and put an end to its process in the Task Manager, but the first does not open without worrying, although it appears in the Task Manager each time. And I'm not sure what the problem is because my other adobe products opens fine. Any ideas or help on what could be the problem and how to solve?

    ' 1. go to Menu start and open the Device Manager.

    2. click on the drop down for "graphics cards".

    3. right click on the AMD graphics driver and select "disable."

    I have a Pavilion g6-1103sa, with Windows 7, after a few problems of software I could just get to open in safe mode, so saving docs and images on a remote hard drive successfully, tried to complete a restoration of the system to the factory settings by pressing the ESC key on the switch and selecting the option to do so.

    When the restoration is complete, the there is a message saying that the restoration was a success and the laptop restarts, however all that happensis a message appears saying: your computer is preparing for first use, but then nothing happens

  • Pavilion Slimline s5510f: Desktop turns on but does not start

    No problem whatsoever with the computer.  On the indicated start screen Windows updates have been installed.   I noticed that the update "failed" and was "back" to forecast position or something to that effect.

    This has happened about 4 days after I tried to leave the HP screen download updates from HP.  The download takes forever and I finished downloading.  Don't know if this has nothing to do with the question or not.

    Used the computer all day and then stop it.  Next day morning hitting the power button, fans have started, a yellow light flickered once and nothing happenn-no beeps.  The screen was black and then a box of monitor State said he was not getting a signal and entered into mode 'sleep'.  Key Board not light.

    I closed the computer and tried a reboot.  Same thing happened.

    I looked at a few HP documentation and videos about the lack of seed.  I did find a simular situation to mine because most people get a cursor on a black screen or an error message.  All my computer is turn on, a flicker of yellow light, fans running and there it is.

    I tried to access the BIOS by turning on the computer and press F10, then F1 but nothing happens at all.

    I removed the memory cards and reinstalled them.  Same thing.

    I removed the memory cards and attempted to start the thing same computer.  No beeps.

    I would like to make the backup disks that I made when I bought the computer.   I hesitate to do something with these discs.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.  But, what I read in the documentation, it seems as if with no beep with memory cards removed, it is the motherboard?

    If it is the motherboard, does that mean?  Go buy another computer?

    You're welcome, @EarlD1.  Novice, perhaps, but you did a great job!  It is one of the most difficult and scary for some, processes of diagnostics on a computer.

    I read your first post again.  I think that the next step should be to test memory.  There are several ways to test, but I want to do the most simple.  Remove all the memory when the computer is off and replace them one at a time and start.  If the computer starts, the memory is good.

    If memory proves to be good, I suggest that you try to perform a system recovery complete from the recovery media that you made when you purchased the computer.

    Try the following.

    First of all, remove all the devices connected to the computer, including the helmet.

    Download Realtek HD Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

    In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

    In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the Realtek device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

    When complete, shutdown the laptop.

    Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

    Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

    When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right click on the installer of Realtek and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, reboot the laptop and let windows load completely for a few minutes before checking.

    Hi, I upgraded my laptop to 190 MB of ram and the latest version of the bios, installed a 20 GB drive and am currently running windows xp.
    Since put xp, I lost the battery monitor utility.
    I use mostly the laptop power supply.
    Now it does work on the battery at all, I get about 40 seconds, then windows shuts.
    I measured 12 volt directly from the battery and tested a small buzzer to him.
    Someone at - it ideas. The drums developed this memory thing to a full release?

    How old is your battery?
    Usually each laptop died after about 500 charge procedures.
    On my old laptop, the battery died after 2 years. In the end, the battery works only 1 min.
    In my opinion, you should check if the battery is ok or has a malfunction

    There are two controls:

    • Are two devices on version 29 or higher?
    • Have you recently changed the password? And if so has the connected devices you asked to reconnect? If this isn't the case, please do to create a new brand in cert.
    • Are the parameters of the account on the Android set to sync automatically or manually?

    I recently installed an official Windows 10 OS on the laptop (64 bit). It was fully installed from scratch.

    Everything seems to work fine except for a very annoying problem: whenever I say the laptop shut down it proceeds to stop never totally as normal until the screen is blank (as is normal), the light on the power button turns on and the machine stops. It remains in this state until the battery sinks and dies. The only way to shut down the computer at this stage is to press the power button until it is difficult to stop. When you start the computer again, all right, and there is no bad effects of the hard stop down.

    When he is in the State where the screen went blank and the indicator light remains on, it is not not clear if Windows is running or if Windows has closed, but the computer itself is still ongoing.

    Looks like you can't synchronize the pictures located on your external drive.  I need a little more information about your configuration to provide a better answer.  However, we will try to sync your photos through the section of the file through the article below.  You just need to direct iTunes to where your photos are stored on your external drive.

    If your photos are in a folder

    1. Select "Choose a folder" from the context menu.
    2. Choose the folder where you store your photos.
    3. Click on apply.

    You can arrange photos in subfolders to create photo albums.
