  Hello I have kinda the same problem as above:
  -> Win 7 Pro
  -> Boots of emissions 'Press ctrl + alt + del' screen
  -> When this is pressed, the prompt for the password is not displayed
  -> Impossible to recover from cd

  After working with this problem for some time, I found that when computer shuts properly, the next log does not display the password prompt.  If the computer is turned off via a second 5 press power button, the password prompt is displayed the next time the computer is turned on.

  I had an old image of the operating system on a hard drive (HD replaced with solid state) that I used to "restore".  The question that has happened again a few days late.  I can't keep backup/restore all the time because it is very tedious (there are a lot of changing data on this computer a duty to back up like that all the time isn't a realistic solution)

  It can be the cause of this problem? I want to solve this problem without having to recreate the image and restore new data. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

  Step 1:

  Try restarting your computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

  a. restart your computer.

  b. when the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap the F8 on your keyboard key repeatedly until you are presented with the screen Windows Advanced Startup Options.

  c. using the arrow keys, select the Safe Mode option.

  d. press the Enter key on your keyboard to start Windows Safe Mode.

  I suggest you to activate the administrator build-in account and check.
  a. click Startand type cmd in the Search boxof start.
  b. in the list of search results, right click Guest and then click run as administrator.
  c. When you are prompted by user account control, click continue.
  d. at the command prompt, type net user administrator / Active: Yesand then press ENTER.
  e. type net user administrator , , and then press ENTER.
  Note: Please replace the tag with passwords which you want to set for the administrator account.

  f. type exitand press ENTER.

  g. disconnect from the current user account.

  Hi, I tried to get into the Mode safe on my desktop Windows 8 and I chose the 'Active Directory repair' option in the msconfig window. After the reboot, all I get is a blue screen with no login field and absolutely nothing to do except close down and restart. Is there a way to disable "Active Directory repair" and return to the normal startup mode without having access to the office. I do not have a Windows 8 DVD with me because I've updated online.

  Hold down the SHIFT key when you click restart on the power to the menu screen.  It will take you to a place of recovery, that you can use to run system restore and to 'come back' until you have made the change.

  I put t when drivers will be updated, but there is a workaround to install the driver AMD/ATI on Toshiba laptop. You must do so via Device Manager.

  First you need to download the driver and need to save it somewhere on the HARD drive (IE desktop). Unzip the package. Then, go to the Device Manager, choose the graphics card and choose Update driver. Now, we must choose the 2nd install option that allows you to point to the downloaded folder and choose the location where the driver must be installed.
  Then point to the driver folder saved on the desktop and the system should pick up the files automatically.

  -Go to the HP ProtectTools Security Manager

  -Administration (bottom left)-> administration Console

  -Develop "powers".

  -Select "footprints."

  -Click on the button "delete all data"-> Apply

  -Close the "Management Console".

  -Go to "Manager of credentials.

  -Select "Footprints" and carry on the registration of finger.

  I have a Server 2003 vm, which was working fine until I used cd/dvd connection button to connect a client on the virtual computer's cdrom drive. The client machine is a cdrom usb attached to my desktop computer.

  Now, the virtual machine shows as running, but if I try to change the settings of any material I get "the operation failed because another task is underway" (this is for any task as trying to move the cdrom to use host, disconnect a network adapter connected, turn off the VM etc. etc.)

  So I can not turn off as I want to just delete and prefer to use another test vm with host cdrom instead.

  I suspect that cause to the vmx file. When I try to connect to this virtual machine console I get "connection error in the & lt; vmx file path & gt; because the VMX is not started. "

  How to regain control of this virtual machine so that I can delete the disc that I can't turn off for this?

  We are trying to port a html5 for iOS web page to the touchscreen Blackberry phone. On the 6.0 torch device, we are able to load the page on the browser html5. However we are not able to load to embeded BrowserField on our java application. There's just a bunch of web page appears. Our html5 web page also uses the webdatabase api as well.   However, I tried a simple html5 demo page: http://html5demos.com/classlist and I am able to load. So, it could be due to some special items to our html5 page. However, I'm just checking if anyone has experiences about html5 on BrowserField to understand page loading limit on BrowserField it before you spend a lot of time on this and discover that it is a road of the dead.
