  Cannot create a new folder and name it.  The name I give always comes back again record when I hit enter.

  I'm assuming that happens with all new folders in the special folder that you use and that you use a "legal" name for the folder - but that is determined when you answer questions of Malke.

  It's maybe a permissions issue.  You will have to perhaps take full rights on the folder or even take in charge of the case.

  To resolve this problem with folders, appropriating the files or the drive (as an administrator) and give you all the rights.  Right-click on the folder/drive, click Properties, click the Security tab and click on advanced and then click the owner tab.  Click on edit, and then click the name of the person you want to give to the property (you may need to add if it is not there--or maybe yourself).   I am trying to install windows 7 on my emachines T6520 in with a single hard drive. so far, I can get to where it says select the partition. so I select the single partition it and it gives me this error "cannot create a new partition system or locate an install" ive tried EVERYTHING. I have only plugged in the USB is a MI to help install windows from. This time the boot priority is hard disk and then cd rom. ive google search for days and nothing helps. I have the windows installation disc, but whenever I boot from the disc it loads the configuration files and then right until he finishes it says "unexpected error" and I can reboot or turn off the computer, that's why im starting on a USB key. Ive also tried DBAN and no luck. Help, please!

  My laptop disk management displays the following information...

  (1) healthy OEM 14.75 GB partition

  (2) 200 MB Healthy (System, active, primary partition) (containing the system files)

  (3) c: in good health (start-up, swap files, dump, primary) (which contains Windows) total 421 GB, free 400 GB (which contains Windows)

  (4) D: sound logic GB 29 disc

  I want to shrink the C drive in 30 GB and want to do at least 3 drives more. I also have linux in the D drive.

  so when I want to shrink C drive, then it shows the size of available shrink space in MB 212653 and total size after shrink 219284MB. This means that my C drive will at least 219284MB. but I don't want that.

  Another problem, when I tried to create a new simple volume the following error comes.    You cannot create a new volume in this unallocated space because the disk already contains the maximum number of partitions.  What can I do?

  The existence of files across the disk will limit the amount by which you can reduce the volume.  You can defragment to reduce this, but there will always be property files that will create a limit for you.  I had to do a full install in a 70 GB partition for Windows CE - with my first attempt to install, I could not it less than 250 GB even if I tried to partition when installing Win7 had finished.

  I think you'll have to decide a complete reinstall to resolve the issues, but that's just my opinion.  During installation, choose the option to partition the drive & set it to create a partition that is not less than 70 GB and Windows will install fortunately in this.  You can then use the rest for a partition of data user files.

  You don't mention your brand of PC, but even once, as Palcouk said, you will have some facility in order to safeguard the partition image factory of the manufacturer of the PC in DVD or USB [Dells certainly have the USB option for this].  Fix this before whatever it is that you will destroy this partition when reinstalling and might also do so just try to move partitions.

  Without an administrator account, you will not be able to create a new one.

  There are 3rd party software that claims to be able to reset the password on the administrator accounts or create a new account on a boot cd.  Search in your favorite search engine 'vista password' should yield interesting results.  Please scan of tools that you can download for infections by the virus.

• Cannot create a new user account account & comments pasted as an administrator. How can I activate built-in Administrator?

  It's a long story, but it is a case of me not having only not the slightest idea of what I was doing and the things themselves are mean. I tried to access the built-in function

  Administrator on my laptop, so I could create a password for it and to transform my only other account user in a standard account. The only way I knew a bit about this world work (at the time) was going to safe mode (already did this on another laptop of mine and it worked,) but the built-in administrator is not. Unfortunately, when I do my first mistake a lot of errors, I decided that I could force the built-in Administrator"is displayed by the guest in an administrator account so I could turn off my main user account. I realized that I couldn't change guest in standard account so I turned it off as an administrator. When I'm home in safe mode I finally see the built-in administrator so I put my password for it, but I noticed the UAC did not have a password field to type and 'yes' is gray. Thinking that it was because I left the account called Administrator, until I turned it off I go to reactivate it if I could go back to the standard, but the guest account would not change back or extinguish again causing the built-in Administrator "to disappear from the safe mode and therefore, preventing me from the question of fixing.

  I've tried so far of troubleshooting:

  (Start, typed the CDM, run as administrator, typed user administrator / Active: Yes) Having failed, I got msg "System 5 error has occurred. Access denied. "

  The guest on my computer account has administrative authority.

  If your guest account has administrator privileges (why?) then you can do this:

  1. Log in under the guest account.
  2. Click the start planet.
  3. Type cmd.exe in the search box.
  4. Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter
  5. Click on "Run as Administrator".
  6. Type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
     NET user administrator / Active: Yes
     NET user administrator 123456
     (to set the password to 123456)
  7. Log in as administrator.
  8. Plan ahead a little and create, test, and document an alternative admin account, even though you have a spare House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.
  9. Demote, then disable the guest account. There is a security risk.

  I can't create a new folder in Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  Cannot create SkyDrive Explorer, or the desktop.  It is not an option when right clicking on, even if the new compressed folder is an option.  Thank you.

• Actions and Variables are duplicated when I create the new model project

  My organization uses a standard model for our courses.  In this model, I added a few variables and advanced actions to enable to the learner to customize the course a bit and support our "test-out" option

  What I found however, is that when I create a new project of this model that all stocks advanced and variable are... reproduce some several times.

  Unfortunately, this is a known issue.  I pointed out about it here:

  As far as I know, the problem persists even in Captivate 9 If you create a template that has advanced Actions, and these actions are used by no slides in this model.  When you create a file CPTX of this model, Variables and advanced Actions are duplicated by about the same number of times that the advanced initial Action is used.

  You can test this by creating a simple project with two blades, a variable and a Standard Action that affects this variable with values. Define the event on slide enter on the second slide to run the Standard Action. Save the project as a model CPTL and then use this model to start another project CPTX file.  When you check the list of Variables and advanced Actions you will find that there is a duplicate of each.

• Cannot create a new keyframe

  No matter what I try, I can't create a new keyframe.

  Then I opened a new project. Import the video, I want to add effects. Auto Keyframing is on. I have create a new null object and place it in the position I want to start. I check the clock position. I go to the place on the timeline and move the object null to the appropriate position. A second keyframe is created just fine and a red line is established between the two. I'm going to third place in the timeline and move the null object. But rather than create a new keyframe, it selects the previous and CHANGE its position value.

  I looked at several after effects, after step by step tutorials, but this issue will not go away. I have also tried to turn on/off auto keyframing, but that no longer works. Even the ctrl-p command does not work.

  Seriously, I have no idea why this is the case, it didn't happen on the first project that I did, although when I went back to this project to compare the settings, I found that she had the same problem.

  First of all, turn off auto keyframe. It's a good idea that causes more problems than it solves for inexperienced users.

  Now, if the image key or small stopwatch icon is enabled whenever you move or change a property, a keyframe is set. If you turn off the stopwatch all keyframes will be deleted.

  I just installed the plugins from Active Directory 1.0.2 and I'm trying to a create user AD using Orchestrator 4.2.0 script. I use Windows 2008 R2 as my Active Directory server.

  I get this error when I use the port 3286 (using GC):

  Configuration server-side seems good. I use the same information as the LDAP configuration (without the box copy) and I use a Director as the user (until I can fix this error).

  It's the line of script that may cause the error:

  userOU.createUser (domainName, accountName, displayName);
  

  where accountname, domain name, and displayName is string and user is a valid ORGANIZATIONAL unit selected using the graphical interface.

  Quite possible restrictions on password as Joerg says... If this is the case, you must configure the AD plugin to use SSL - to do this, you must import a domain controller authentication certificate to vCO. This certificate will allow the vCO establish a secure connection to your domain controller to create new accounts of users per password

• Cannot create the Flex/WTP project

  I use Eclipse 3.3 on Windows XP Pro.
  
  1. I choose new-> Flex project from the file menu
  2. in the new project dialog box, I choose Java/J2EE as server type and choose to use LiveCycle Data Services. I enter the location of the war LCD 2.5 file in the appropriate text entry.
  3. in the next panel, I use the default location and choose "Flex 2.0.1 Hotfix 2" as the Flex SDK kit
  4. in the next panel, where you can specify 'Path of the Source' and 'Library path' among other things, I accept all the defaults and click on "Finish".
  
  While the new project is being initialized, particularly when it installs the new dynamic Web side, the process fails and an error dialog box appears containing only the following text "org/eclipse/wst/common/project/facet/ui/internal/AddRemoveFacetsDataModel.
  
  When I close this dialog box, I went back to the last step of the process 'New Flex project', which makes it virtually impossible for me to create a new project, because the error occurs every time. I am able to create generic Flex projects and screens LCD basic Flex project without problems... This only affects the integrated Flex/WTP option.

  I have been unable "to create a new version for ipad or iphone.

  I just spent 35 minutes on the phone with Apple and finally got the answer.

  1. turn highlight the song that you want to create a new version

  2. under FILE menu hover over CONVERT

  3. Select "create xxx Version".

  The second option in the submenu under CONVERT will match the type of file selected in your import settings in iTunes preferences.  For example, if you have an Apple Lossless Version and that you want to create an MP3 file, you must first go to the preferences and under the general tab, click the box "Import settings", select MP3, click the OKs.  Then when you get to step 2, above, the choice when you hover over CONVERT will be "Create MP3 Version."

  It is rather complicated and not very clear, especially when it was very frank.
