Cannot create pdf in acrobat 8 on windows 10

Hi, I use acrobat 8 for some reason any and it works fine before I upgraded my OS to windows 10, now I can't create pdf of msoffice more (have not tried other applications other than word and excel). I tried to print to PDF and after that it asks for the name of the file, nothing happened, I also tried to convert to PDF and it says missing pdfmaker files and even I run the repair still mode it has not solved the problem. is there any solution for this?

Hi boying7475,

Acrobat 8 is not compatible on Windows 10 OS because it is not tested to run on it. We currently have Acrobat XI & DC compatible with it.

Thank you

  • Cannot create PDF from Office documents

My Acrobat 9 Std installation was damaged, so I re-installed 9.0 and added all updates to 9.3.4. When I try to create a PDF from an Office document, I get a pop-up window:

  • Cannot create PDFs in Google Chrome

Whenever I try to create a PDF file of the Acrobat plugin in the browser Chrome, after selecting the save location, it will get stuck at "download for Conversion...". "on the first try after turning on my computer.

It just hangs there, and then I have to put an end to the Acrobat plugin in the Task Manager to get it to stop listening.  Yet another attempt will not work, and I have to finish the plugin in force once again.

The plugin will start to work if I use the option 'Print' normal in Chrome and select Adobe PDF printer once.  Then when I try the plugin Acrobat in Chrome, it will start to work.

Is there a way to prevent this, so that the plugin Acrobat in Chrome works every time after start/restart of the computer so I can't go through the extra steps?

    Hi Thomas

It is a known issue and we are investigating it.

To work around the problem, you can create a PDF of some Office file or web page of Acrobat via file > create > PDF of the file before you start the conversion of Chrome or print to the Adobe PDF printer.

This is required only once after system reboot.

  • Cannot create pdf files

I bought a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit pre-installed.  I installed Acrobat 8.0 Standard program and performed all of the updates for windows and acrobat and everything worked fine.  I could create PDFs both the links and the adobe pdf printer in Office 2007 and IE8.  3 months later, I had to do a factory restore on your computer because of an unrelated issue.  When I reinstalled Acrobat 8, I lost all the features of pdf create.  When I print to the pdf printer, it shows it in the queue and then disappears without creating anything.  When I use Office 2007, create links, it hangs on "pdf creation".  When I click on links in IE8, nothing happens.  Any help would be appreciated.

Upgrade to Acrobat 9. Acrobat 8 is not supported on 64-bit Windows 7.

  • Cannot create an ad hoc network on Windows Vista

    Hi all

I tried to create an ad hoc network on my PC but as soon as I get a name and a password, Windows returns the message "Windows cannot create the network"XXXX" I've not really changed anything since yesterday when I was able to create another network without problem, except a failed restart (to manually turn off my PC because restart took too long).

I tried to change the Autoconfiguration WLAN service (as had been suggested at: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/cant-create-an-ad-hoc-network/94028a00-54ec-4cd1-81a0-ab35718d62e5) but it is already configured in automatic mode, and it did not work.

  • Cannot create PDF in Adobe Acrobat 8

I use Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 and I can't create a pdf from a *.docx file and file.doc file.  Word 2007 has the Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM add-in listed as a trusted site.

When I try to create a PDF from multiple files, the error message is cannot convert the file type to PDF.  Please remove this file from the list.

Is there a way to create a pdf file in Adobe 8 documents 2007 and 2003?

In WORD 2007, you should have a PDF menu to create value. Who is the creator of PDF that works with AA8. There could also be some problems with the operating system that you have not mentioned. AA8 is not certified for use on Win7 and is a potential problem. I suspect that you don't have a PDF Maker for active AA8 in WORD. You can still print to the Adobe PDF printer to create a PDF file, you lose just a part of the bookmark and related options.

  • How to remove 'create PDF' Panel of drive in Windows 8

In Acrobat Reader on my new PC in Windows 8, but not in my proven Windows 7 PC, Acrobat Reader displays a Panel to the right of the page offering options to create a PDF file, export to PDF, etc.. This Panel takes place, and none of its options are useful to me (all of my PDF files is constructed by calling Acrobat from Microsoft Word). How can I get rid of him?

    Thanks for your help!

    Either:

  • Cannot create pdf with the same page size

    Hello

I installed Adobe Acrobat Professional (writer). And created a pdf document. the pdf file contains images, each on his page. The problem is when I save or preview the document, some images are not sized for his area of page (or fit to page). Please check attached picture to see the problem.

How can I add images to PDF with eqal size.

Please check attached picture Pdfsnap1 & Pdfsnap2 (used the crop tool)...

Someone helped me to visit the following link for the solution:

    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/841095

Above the provided Adobe forum link is good, but 50% of my problem is solved. In other words, the selection of the image and using her crop tool 'page size' is increased, but the image on the page is still small, or it does not increase with the size of the page.

To resize the image, you need to select with the object tool and drag the buttons on the sides and the corners to resize it.

Much of what you do can be done in Acrobat, but this isn't the ideal application for such actions. Acrobat isn't really an editing tool, but a tool to create a finished product that provides essentially platform independent product. You might find what you want to do is best done in a word processor or page layout tool, then a PDF file created from this result.

  • Cannot create PDF in MS Publisher

I'm trying to create a PDF of a poster large size document, that I created using Microsoft Publisher. The size of the Pub MS. document is 48 "wide by 24" high. I'm using Acrobat 9 Pro and Microsoft Office 2007.

The PDF is created, unfortunately it is divided into 15 pages and I really just want a large.

I tried to change the setting in AA9 but nothing has worked so far.

Someone had a good experience of conversion of a document of this size to a single PDF page?

    Thank you!

How do you create the PDF file?

You should be print to the PDF printer and definition of a custom page size to adjust it.

  • newly created pdf in acrobat reader not opening

I just rebuilt my machine after 6 years and now have the joyous task to remember how everything was resolved.  I have Acrobat 7 Pro and Reader 9 installed.  When I create a PDF file it will open in the reader instead of Acrobat which is the way it was before.  Can someone tell me what I'm missing?

    Thank you

Go to the tasks list and disable AcroRd32. Also, do a right click on a PDF file and select open with, then select Choose default program, select Acrobat. It will vary depending on your version of the operating system.

  • Cannot create PDF from Web Page with Certificate error. Error: "problem with SSL H99350"

Is there a way to bypass it through some Adobe Acrobat settings? Maybe a way to get Acrobat 'trust' of the site?

In Internet Explorer, I can simply click, "Continue to this website (not recommended)" and Web page will open, but Adobe Acrobat does not give me a similar option.

I also tried to convert the Adobe Acrobat in Internet Explorer add-in, however, it does not have the same options, such as the number of levels down, copy Web site (I need to copy the entire site).

    Installation program:

    Windows 7 Enterprise SP1

    Acrobat Pro 10.1.15

  • Cannot create buttons in Acrobat

Hi so I have about 32 "tooltips" in their own separate layers on top of the graphics layer. I want to create a button in Acrobat that allows you to ride and to see a fact only one Board and 1 on 32 ToolTips will appear. When I tired to create a new button and add the first action (mouse enter - Set layer visibility) it works fine, but when I put the second action (release mouse - Set layer visibility) it's wherever I meet questions. I can't hide the layer or change it to keep this hidden ToolTip. Advice?

I opened to the top of the advanced editing toolbar and now everything works. Thank you!

That's the weird thing at the time where I'm going, in edit mode, the visible layer is hidden.
