  2. go to the support/adobe folder
  3 try to delete the content in the files SLCache and SLStore files

• Cannot get CS4 to start after change of disc

  I changed boot drive on my macbook pro running OS x 10.9 to an ssd.

  Since then, I can't start CS4 and he says has only licenses.

  If you follow the instructions to disable the software but is not working for some reason, then you should just contact support Adobe - they really are the only ones who can help and can manually disable the database on their end.

  Hi stefca,

  By default, the attributes: read-only (applies only to files and folders) will be there. Although the subfolders in the main folder would have access to read and write.

  Also if you want to remove the permission to read the file, then you must change the permissions. Follow the steps for the same:

  i. right click on the folder

  II. Select Properties

  III. Select Security tab.

  IV. click on edit

  v. check the Deny option to read.

  VI. click on apply, and then click OK

• Cannot open/install applications CS4 on Mavericks

  After reading http://forums.Adobe.com/message/5843297 I start to panic a bit to make my applications CS4 runs correctly on my new Macbook Pro running the Mavericks. I am in desperate need of these programs because my old MBP is cracked and broken and unable to stand upward

  I migrated to the Mavericks by using the Migration Wizard from a Time Machine backup (open Java prompt that opens (see https://discussions.apple.com/message/23699636#23699636).) Then when I open CS4 programs I get error: 150:30 (specific detailed message below). I looked on the forums and discovered that I had to deactivate CS4 on the old laptop. I did but still no error. (Also, I'm still able to open CS4 programs on the old laptop even though I have successfully disabled their). Fortunately, I still have my installation discs (which I can't say the same for my Microsoft Office for Mac 2011, which I have to buy again I guess?).

  Here is the message I get when trying to open the CS4 on the new laptop computer programs:

  License for this product has stopped working.

  This product has a problem that requires that you restart your computer until you can run.

  If you continue to see this message after you restart your computer, please contact your COMPUTER administrator or Adobe support for help and mention the error code displayed at the bottom of the screen.

  Error: 150:30

  I rebooted and close several times and still no go.

  What can I do?

  PS. I'm a little afraid to uninstall and reinstall as a solution, because when I put the disk in it does not go to the Setup screen, shows just the folders Documents and Goodies.   for someone else, difficulties to use adobe with mac products, the important point is NOT to use migration tools.  correctly uninstall your adobe products (using their uninstall) and then install properly using the adobe Installer.

  If you have a problem installing correctly, use the vacuum cleaner after you have uninstalled and before reinstalling.
