  I just got a replacement of HP printer because my old printer failed.  The new printer will not print my emails. I can print the files, but not email.   I would me more then happy to provide assistance regarding your 7520 Photosmart not printing not e-mails.  If the printer is able to print files, then the material in the printer is OK and you are looking for just a possible software problem.

  When affected by a software to deliver the best thing to start with, it is a uninstall and reinstall the software.  If you could post back and provide the version of the operating system on the computer, I should be able to provide instructions on how to uninstall and reinstall the HP software.

  When you use airprint from iPad/iPhone to HP printer, the document is printed on Photo paper and not Std paper - how do you want to chaange this defect? THX!

  Try to check the settings of the tray from the printer and check if this may help you, those are the only parameters that may be applicable to the side of the printer, AirPrint itself does not offer such control.

  Of the printer, click the configuration option, and then select Preferences.

  Select printer selected tray, then select main tray and confirm, now try to print and check to see if that can help you.

• Photosmart HP 7520: printing the ascii at top of page

  Bought this printer about a year ago.  All that it worked very well, but recently.  When you try to print a large document, it will print the first pages with no problems, but all of a sudden it will start blank pages to print with ASCII characters in the top of the page or brands of black smear on the left side of the page.  It will go through about 20 pages of that until I can cancel the print job.

  I just tried to print two pages at a time and it worked for the first 20 pages and now he's doing it again.

  With the HP software on the computer, I looked to see if there was an upgrade of the printer and it came back that he was not.

  Basically, this printer has become useless!

      I have a problem with my HP Photosmart 7520 printer where all wireless network devices will lose connectivity after a printer has been sent to the printer.
  
  * Summary
  Wireless network unusable after sending one print to HP printer
  No device ( computers nor smartphones ) can use the Internet nor access internal networks ( 192.168.0/24)
  
  * Details
  Turn HP printer on.  ( wireless direct is off - never turned on )
  HP printer connects to working wireless network.
  Other devices ( phone/computers ) already connected and working.
  From any device, send a document to the printer.
  Printer prints document successfully.
  Immediately after printer has printed all devices cannot access internet IP range ( including HP printer ) nor Internet nor router ( 198.168.0.1 ).

  Disconnect all devices from the network.
  Power off printer.
  Reboot Internet router.

  Number of brand and model of the router?

  These settings are to set up your printer wireless (or wired):

  • Stay connected to your router
  • Trouble printer status 'offline '.
  • Wake mode 'sleep'
  • All wireless devices stay better connected

  While the DHCP is convenient, devices like printers (wired and wireless) should always be assigned a (fixed) IP address manually to avoid conflicts on your wireless network and must be outside the range of the router DHCP.  After the adjustment of the static IP address the computer must be updated to show a Standard TCP/IP port with the IP address of printers under printer properties/Ports.

  1. Set a static in the printer IP address (click here) outside the range of the DHCP of the router (check your manual). It is for Linksys routers, but can be used for all routers. Check your DHCP range and change this first if necessary.   2. Or check in the printer "Auto Off/sleep/Energy Saving Mode" is disabled the System Mode Time Out is set to zero (0) Use the built-in webserver (EWS) by visiting the printer address IP address in the address bar of your browser, click on settings tab/Auto Off. Or use the printer, printer Home Page (EWS) Wizard. Also check your printer properties.
  3. If the printer supports and has IPv6 enabled, disable the IPv6 option in the printer.
  4. Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a socket wall and not to a UPS, power strip or a lightning arrestor. This will cause the printer to drop offline connection and disconnection (checked yes!).

  How to stop obtaining HP drive downloads for an old printer.  I used to own a HP Photosmart 7520 printer but I replaced it with a printer HP Office Jet Pro 8710 2 months ago. I deleted all the HP programs related to the old printer and remove the printer from my list of Windows 10 printers and removed from the HP Support Assistant.

  I have a HP Photosmart 7520 printer all-in-one. It lights itself with flashing lights and an error to turn the printer power off and start again. I followed instruction and turn the printer off. Reverse in the printer of the room is lit, flashing with error to turn off the printer. So I unplug the printer. Help

  I had already unplugged printer and reboot so that solved my problem for now.

  I see that you have some problems with the copy of your 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once it is, while the printer is on, remove the power cable at the back of the printer for one minute.

  If after the above, you can always not copy, the printer must be replaced. You can contact the HP Support by clicking on this link and fill out the form below to discuss the options based on your warranty.

  If a Photosmart HP 7520 must be kept for up to six months, what precautions should be taken?

  The cartridges must have all ink (at least somewhat) and remain installed in the printer.  Make sure that the printer is off since its own power switch and then wait for all the internal movements to stop before removing power.  Store the printer in a cool place, not subject to extreme fluctuations in temperature if possible.

  When starting the ORS printe after six months, you may need to run through a few cycles as described in the post here for cleaning.  If above does not solve the problem post here can help to retrieve your impression of good quality after long-term storage.

  If you go to the printer itself and try a "Scan to PC" the printer sees name of the PC, but when you click Scan an error message comes up saying "no computer connected.

  Having exhausted all the recommended solutions: uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Run Selective startup without any service has been activated; Print and Scan Doctor (tells me that there is a problem of TWAIN, but even then gives error "can' communications Scanner...", even after the PC reboot and repeat the doctor P & s); restart the router method.

  The only method of scanning that work which means the network is scanning to E-mail.

  Any ideas?

  I see that you encounter some problems with the scanning of your 7520 Photosmart e-all-in-one printer to your PC for Windows 10 and that the printing and scanning doctor detects a problem with your TWAIN drivers. As TWAIN drivers refer to a component of the operating system, the only things I can suggest are updates or perform a system restore. In addition, I suggest contacting the one who sold you the PC or the Microsoft.

  Clear the PRINT TO FILE option in Acrobat or Adobe Reader. It will be somewhere in the print dialog boxes.

  Until now what I was doing. I went into Device Manager, printers, and I uninstalled it. Then I went into settings, equipment and removed from the appliance.

  Upddate messages still appeared.

  In Device Manager, I noticed 6 unknown devices listed. When I went in their properties; events; There are mentions making reference to 7520 printer the latest in yesterday something on the installation of the printer. Should I uninstall these too?

• Photosmart HP 7520: analysis of an attachment to the email

  Printer is configured with a connection cable to my PC and is also implemented for the wireless.

  Everything seems to work fine when I accept the option scan and it scans and said it stored the scan.

  When I go to send to my email address it processes claiming via the e-mail link electronic wireless (who has been varified and works) and the email arrives in my Inbox BUT without the document scanned as an attachment?

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. On your printer, click Web Services icon in the upper left corner of the display screen.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Click on delete Web Services.
  4. Click again on the Web Services.
  5. Click on accept and Yes.
  6. Configuring scan to E-mail.
