  Hi Ron,

  Have you looked at article in the Knowledge Base using the search in Firefox bar? There are lots of good information in there. You happen to have an installed Yahoo! toolbar? You must disable or delete as well if you do. Try to start Firefox in Mode safe mode by holding down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox. If you have any problems using the safe, it's a matter of add-on or extension.

• Cannot delete 'alert warning' in the Safari iPad iOS 9.3.1 Air app

  I have a 'alert warning to the Virus' that I can't delete my Safari app. It seems to hang out in the list at the bottom of the cross-tab screen which we can access by clicking the several page icon at the top right of the Safari icon window.

  I tried all of the suggestions: removal of Web site data, blocking cookies, disable Javascript, display resetting, etc. I always put the question when I open Safari (screenshot attached), and two additional, seemingly legitimate pages on the list at the bottom also do not seem to want to leave. If I press them, they open a tab. They are not in my bookmarks, Favorites or history (which I also deleted). I'm at the end of my options, it seems, and I hope someone here can help you. The only thing I have yet to try is delete the app and re-install. Thanks for the tips!

  

  Have you tried double pressing the "home" button and make drag all Safari Windows? Safari then clear cache (settings - safari - clear history...) and back in Safari.

• Cannot delete files locked in the temp folder

  I emptied regularly delete all files in the temp via the function folder in the Tools menu of IE9 and also by searching on folder and deleting the contents of the temporary Local AppData file in the users folder.

  Ten days ago, I found there are some files in the folder temporary AppData that were locked and could not be removed. This only happens in a user account, and this isn't an administrator account. Opening of properties on any of the files by checking the Security tab, I find I am wierdly the sole owner of the file, but have limited permissions. I tried to change the permissions to get total control and then remove the file, but that did not work, nor has anything else I could think of. This included the stop of all open applications and disconnects all users.

  Other file properties:

  -Open with "Windows Shell Commo" - little matter that is.

  -Similar names to ~ DF38C18158B32C1039. TMP

  -Attributes: ATI

  -The size is small (512 bytes, for example)

  -No previous versions

  Normally the files in this folder have names like this except without the ~.

  After having in vain tried everything I could think of to delete these files, I downloaded Revo Uninstaller, who managed to remove all the files locked in the record at the time.  However, the problem resurfaced shortly after and this time Revo Uninstaller did not work.

  I spent a few days of research on the net and try different options without success until I stumbled on a recommendation to go into Control Panel, search for Java, open its settings menu and refuse authorisation for Java to back up the data on my computer.  It worked - I went back in the folder, the files were no longer locked, I was able to remove them as I usually do and I had no other problems with the locked files. Until yesterday.

  I double-checked the settings of Java to ensure that authorization still denied to save data on my computer. I don't remember now if I set permission to refuse when I checked again. I tried then to Revo Uninstaller again, but he failed again to remove these files locked. I noticed today that the date for all files is last July 15.  It seems (so far) no new files have been generated, but I still cannot delete locked files 51 of my computer.  My biggest concern, obviously, is security.  I don't want to locked files including origins, functions and activities that I do nothing on my computer, especially if I'm unable to remove them.

  I want to know how to remove these files, what caused do them appear in the first place and how to prevent them from happening again.

  Thanks for this suggestion, Oberwald. It came a little too late, however.  Finally, it occurred to me to try my anti-virus software file shredder function and he managed to remove the locked files.

  I believe now these locked files were likely due to some kind of malware - after shredding, my desktop Recycle bin flashed repeatedly icon when I shut down the computer. Also, after have logged you in today, I find everything runs much faster and no sign of keylogging.  Seem to be back to normal.

  I was able to save the link and it will try in the future if necessary.

  Firefox does not delete cookies for the tabs that are left open when you quit the browser even with empty cookie options set. Cookies are only eligible for the tabs that are closed before leaving the browser. I do not understand how this could possibly be a design decision because it completely defeats the purpose of the privacy settings.

• How to reset the Status field and delete ToDo list outside the user interface?

  HR 802 generating WebHelp.

  I made use of the status field and ToDo List in the past. For my next release aid, I would like to reset these fields for all the subjects, so I can still have accurate reports as subjects of creation/revision of the final course.

  Is it possible to do without opening each topic in the user interface and compensation/change manual fields? (I thought to delete all fields of ToDo and recreate them, but thought that there is an easier way.) This information appears in each section or in a separate file?

  1. Close all topics that can be opened in the editor.
  2. Open the pod of the list of topics.
  3. Select all subjects.
  4. Right-click and choose Properties from the subject.
  5. Click the status tab.
  6. Modify if needed.

  All subjects should change to reflect the new status and the task list settings.

• Deletion of list for the AutoPlay feature

  When I go into control panel > Autoplay I see a long list of features I had formerly connected to my computer. Many of them are obsolete and are not used more and there is no way I know to remove. Does not work still uninstall orphaned devmgr device drivers.   has nothing to do with what I need. Im not interested to change or limit the options for devices listed, I want to REMOVE the real davices to the total list. The entries located under these keys are cryptic and incomprehensible. Its impossible to know what device they are responsible. Please someone help me because I am willing to go through a complete reformat if I have to get rid of it. If someone can't find a solution, you could tell me how to prevent the list of devices non-volume autoplay?

• Cannot delete empty folder - check the location of the element?

  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE...

  I have a file left behind by an uninstall, '146-200 300 Jetliner just of flight ' folder to be precise!

  After that I removed the program, the file was still in the Start Menu. So right clicked and tried to delete native mode in the start menu which will be presented with the message "unable to delete the folder. Check the location of the item... "or something in that sense.

  I tried many fixes but all without success. I tried CCleaner, I tried to remove it from CMD, I tried to rename, move and merge the file with one of the same name. I also tried to reinstall the program, delete the folder with the installed program and try uninstall again to remove the folder.

  Literally nothing works. The only thing I have not tried is a Disk Clean Up, simply because I don't think it will work.

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

• Cannot delete Internet files in the search box.

  I seem to be impossible to remove internet files that appear in the section 'drop down' in the search box. (By the search box, I mean one where you press F3 and it appears). I start to type Word on hover and press DELETE, but it will not erase. The history is quite clear.

  You just deleted the history.  If you want to stop moving forward, that you have to uncheck the boxes above that make selected AutoComplete or new entries will continue to be added.  I should have mentioned that.

  I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, we will have to make a few changes to the search index, but first let's see if it works.
