I've used the Adobe Flash uninstaller, because I read on the Web site that she had to be uninstalled before download in order to get the latest version.

It was invited today because I was on youtube and when I tried to watch a video clip I got the message that my need to update Flash Player.  Which I thought was weird because he had just download an automatic update this morning.  Regadless, I went to the Adobe Web site to get the latest version and that's what started all this.

Download the ActiveX Installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exeoffline; This record, and then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.

If you have problems downloading from the Adobe Web site, try downloading alternative http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe

You mean 32-bit of course.  The default browser on Windows 7 is the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 8.  As long as you continue to use this, Flash Player will install and work fine.

  • Cannot download and install the latest version of Flash...

I tried several times to download and install the latest version of Flash player. He said that it is downloaded, me shows that it is installing, then, when I click on "Finish", it takes me to a site that says "step 3 of 3", but is otherwise empty.» I still see an error message on Web sites that require Flash; the error message tells me that Flash is obsolete. Don't know how this is possible, since I just (supposedly) downloaded and installed the latest version from the website. I scoured through all the troubleshooting steps on the Adobe site, without success. It is quite frustrating. What can I do else?

How to do a 'clean' Flash Player installation in Mac OS X

  • Cannot upgrade/change/install Flash Player versions? For users of ZoneAlarm, here is a solution.

For the past two weeks now, I was faced with the problem of not being able to properly install my flash version 9 player. I get would be the installation, of course, but they would be damaged facilities. I can't view certain websites in flash, and they stop install me FlashPlayer, even when I have version 9! At least that's what the computer tells me.

After scouring all over the internet for similar problems, I noticed these cases more correlations. Another dilemma plagued me little time after, I realized that I couldn't change my homepage as well!

Then I read the various cases of other people and what was striking, but they seemed all use ZoneAlarm firewall products. Soon, I found that the new firewall/OS product feature is the suspect.

For users of ZoneAlarm Firewall (specifically with detail using OSFirewall versions), OSFirewall might lock your internet settings, startup programs, host file, but more importantly, your ActiveX files! Zone Labs included this feature to make the product much more coldly, but they do not realize that we, the users, need these files as well.

The solution is simple. Simply navigate to the control program in ZoneAlarm (I use Pro). In the main tab, you should see the "Program Control" options. Below, there is a button "Custom". Click on that and go to the tab "OSFirewall" Alto! There are these turds. Left-click on the second column options will give the choice to leave. If you want to make sure that this unnecessary feature don't mean your settings again, I suggest you give all the permissions 'Allow' (notches).

NOTE: even if you disable 'Program Control' or OSFirewall, you need to activate OSFirewall and change the permissions. This is because permission settings will be always locked to those present. In big, even if you disable OSFirewall and have the "Install ActiveX" setting refuse, it is still in denial permission. Check the marks all the way.

If you still have problems, and you still feel that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, I suggest you go tab 'Programs' from the control program. Here, you can view all the applications you have run your PC. Search for 'Macromedia' or 'Flash' of linked files and gives them all access to the internet and all the permissions. If you are not sure, remove all the non-Microsoft programs listed to reset these settings. When you install Flash Player again and you see requests for permission, just "let them".

PS OSFirewall is not available on the free version of ZoneAlarm. Also, to make sure that ZoneAlarm is the cause of the problems, run a complete spyware and a virus scan. Most of the malware time causes these problems as well. Happy computing!

  • Cannot download and install programssince a corruption of important files... explore 8 is an example

I had an incident that caused the corruptions of important files and loss of some programs. I was previously using Internet Explorer 8 and now IE7.  When I try to download and install IE8, it blocks the download, runs for hours without having to download anything. Other programs are also not download... arrive almost at the end, they never end. Very frustrating.  Maybe it has more to do with the installer?

  • Cannot download and install programs or well they will not start when it is installed

In the past two months all of a sudden some programs no longer work and I can't install new programs.

Ex 1 that I downloaded and installed SKYPE and used it no problem, now I can't open it for use on my computer. If someone calls me, I can access and use it.

Ex 2, I can not install the Blackberry connection on the computer. I can download the program on my counter top, it starts the installation and then installs.

I did a restore on the computer last night to to back to September when things worked. This did not help?

    Hello

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?
    2. do you get an error message when you try to install the Blackberry connection?

It is possible that another installed 3rd party program or application is causing the conflict with this installation. Also launch Skype on own startup and check.
You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  • Cannot download and install applications on Win 7 64 bit

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  I can not successfully download and install all applications using IE 9.  First of all, I get a warning that it is not a common software (even for programs commonly downloaded as Win Zip).  Then when I save it, what is saved is considerably lower that we shouldn't.  When I try to launch the installation software, it tells me that he is not a Win32 application (which is meaningless to me as WinZip is 64-bit compatible).  In this case no matter what I try to download and install.  On the other hand, Windows is able to download and install its own updates.  I saw that another son on this but no answers that were useful, can anyone help?

I have Norton, but it was turned off.  However, I failed to mention an important detail.  This resulted in Windows 7 run on a virtual machine (Parallels).  I talked to Parallels support and they had me change a setup that seems to have solved the problem.  Thank you for your efforts and sorry for being incomplete in my messages.

  • Why my computer cannot download and install the driver for the SM Bus controller? And what is?

My computer has detected a SM Bus controller and a couple of USB controllers, but they have not installed the drivers. When I try to do, the computer does not find. What should do the SM Bus controller and why now creates so many problems?

    Hello

What is the brand and model of the computer?

The "SM Bus controller (System Management)" part of the system chipset. The software for it is very important for the proper functioning of the system. SM Bus is used in personal computers and servers to low speed, system management communications.

I suggest you to download and install the latest drivers for your Windows 7 computer from the manufacturer's website.

  • I need no baby to find and install Flash Player on Intel based Mac OSX 10.5.8 with Safari 5.0.6.  Please, I beg you.

Looked up the archives for the Flash version.  Tried to install.  Nothing has worked.  Not too tech savvy.  The operating system cannot be upgraded on the Mac, so that's what we have to work with.  Try to work with a program that will not open - just to get a blurred sign telling me that I need Flash.

    Hello

    1. Download the zip file http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.3.183.90_archive _mac_only.zip

      1. Most likely, it will download to your downloads directoyr
      2. Double-click the downloaded zip file to decompress
      3. Navigate directly in the newly created fp_10.3.183.90_archive_mac_only
      4. Navigate to the 10_3_r183_90 directory
      5. Double-click the file: flashplayer_10_3r183_90_mac_intel.dmg mound the dmg and display the Setup application
      6. Double-click the Install Adobe Flash Player.app icon to launch the installation program
      7. Follow the instructions to complete the installation

Note that most of the modern browsers will block this version of Flash Player because she is old and fragile.
