• PE8 says cannot open the Premiere Pro project trying to open a project created earlier seconds using Premiere Elements. I have same Premiere Pro!

  I created a project using elements of first. Then when I tried to open it PE8 says it can't open Premiere Pro projects because they are incompatible. This project is empty and was created using a few seconds before Premiere Elements. I didn't yet own Premiere Pro! Please help as I can't create all new projects! (P.S. I was not able to create all new projects previously. This was my first try on this PC. I'm not the settings!)

  Remove the Adobe Premiere elements prefs file. The path to it under Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit is

  and in the 8.0 folder is the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file that you delete. If it does not, then delete the 8.0 all the folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists. In 8.1 for Windows 64-bit, you start with the file Explorer to access Folder Options.

• Problems with dynamic links between Premiere Pro and After Effects

  dynamic binding (insertion of After Effects compositions on a Premiere Pro schedule) rarely worked properly since it was introduced. Problems vary (for example "media disconnected" made plates, old versions of comps rendered).

  What's worse, is that you can never tell what will be ultimately made out of Premiere Pro. Thus, a typical professional workflow to several projects together to finish during the day and batch overnight rendering can cause a catastrophe.

  Of course, the option is to not use dynamic link. Which makes then less competitive whole adobe.

  This subject has been widely discussed for years has been a dynamic links. I'm not the only one having this problem, and the problem is far from new.

• Premiere Pro 2015.1 broken with node + other features

  Two of these features are broken on OSX 10.10.x and Windows 7 for Premiere Pro 2015.1

  Seems the 2015.1 version broke some features that we are quite dependent on development and once you lose these features, it makes you realize how dependent you were on them!

  It seems that Adobe broken of (probably removed, it does not look like it exist anymore) fs.watch node functionality, which I use a generation system generate permanently for extensions. If I make changes to files, it can look at the files and reload the application + simultaneously to the debugger. This is extreme for us time because it takes out the process of reloading stuff while you make changes.

  Another thing that Adobe extensions seem to break is debugger for Chrome (Chrome is updated). When running full screen (and only when you are debugging an extension of Adobe), if you fill out a page, scrolling is broken. I have attached a screenshot below and as you can see, I fill the window, but scrolling is disabled. The use of the debugger for something other than an extension of Adobe works very well.

  And another thing that seems to be broken is running app.project.path on Windows (not OS x) returns a nasty filepath. I don't remember to do it in other versions, no more, but don't want to say specifically. This is the way it returns what is bad:

  And it IS persistent, which means that you only need to do once by extension.

  Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 installed on OS X Yosemite and many people use without problems. Your best option would be to use the first Pro CC or higher for flawless performance.

  I'm having serious problems with Premiere pro on my iMac end of 2013.

  10.9.5 OSX

  3.2 GHz Intel Core i5

  16GB 1600 MHz DDR3

  NVIDIA FeForce GT 1024Mo of 755M

  I work in 1920 x 1080 23.976 fps. The multimedia files are Sony FS700. MTS and Cannon 5DmkIII .mov

  Several times a day, the PP crashes on me. It all started when I was getting really choppy playback accompanying this error message:

  A low level of Exception occurred in ImporterMPEG (importer)

  It would shortly after the lead program of freezing and I have to force quit the program. After contacting Adobe first on this problem persistent, the tech told me that it was a 'Leak' memory problem and that there is nothing that could be done. The end of our chat support team member online before helping me solve my problem, I called support. I gave my file number and the person picked up where the powerless left me and did the typical Adobe a difficulty all: he went into the hidden library and erased all my preferences, removed third-party plug-ins and erased the files in the folder root of Adobe applications, renamed a folder "Adobe.Old" etc.

  As I explained to the Member of the team of support on the phone, this is not a solution, but rather a bandage until it happens again.

  Low and behold it happened again. This time, Member of the support team had me create a new account administrator on my computer, thinking that there was a problem of permissions with my other account which is in conflict with PPCC2014. It is important to move from a new account pain and any other program that I had put in place for work on the day the day, he allowed me to continue editing and at least (at a less effective rate) move things.

  Now, while using my new system administrator account, I'm terrible accidents which not only the program to stall, but force me to strong re - start my computer. These accidents are accompanied by a terrifying looking screen that I couldn't capture once.

  They have only become more intimidating that now I see even the program when this happens, but this is the only screenshot which do not turn completely black.

  I'm looking to see if anyone had extreme problems like that and if so, how they could remedy. I have now past 6 hours + with support and after the last of them said I would get a personal email after the end of the day (never arrived) to take further action based on performance after the creation of the new account.

  I need help. Now.

  I looked into a number of solutions you provided and after trying a multitude of them, I decided to see what a clean reinstall would do. I ran the programs uninstaller for each program and then ran the CC cleaning tool.

  Two days of functioning as it should. * knock on wood * I will update with any changes.

  I just updated my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit computer. I have installed Premiere Pro 2.0 without problem. Only problem I have encountered is that there is no sound. I can play the file in Windows Media Player fine.

  Is there something else I could do?

  CS5 has native support for AVCHD... for CS4, I think that you must convert to HDV (or, perhaps, to buy a commercial CODEC to install)

  Adobe 7z files are matched (file 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 file) with exe files.  both must be placed in the same directory and the exe (or double clicked on).
