  Hi guys,.

  The data store server-side will get automatically updated when a new file with the same name is loaded in the landing area?

  for example

  1 data store created for server-side get the file named UK.xls (he has 5 rows)

  2 snapshot created for the above data store

  3. created with the snapshot process

  After that if I remove 2 lines from the same file and load again to the landing (with the same name). So by re-running the process will take the last file OR do I need to reload the file in the data store every time when there is a change in the file. We also tried with option to work but the last file was not picking up.

  Any help will be really appreciated.

  When you create a snapshot, you create a snapshot whose task (provided that you use a data store server-side) can be run from a job. To refresh the data, run the snapshot in a job task. If you create a task at the time the snapshot and the processes that use it, they will automatically connect and will be 'upstream' data through the snapshot in the process. You can then choose whether it would be appropriate to write the snapshot or not (for the effectiveness of performance if you want to do the straight through processing) by activating or deactivating the bucket of data staged that the snapshot written to. The snapshot in the work task means that the data is refreshed.

  For the work of design to the Director, you can refresh the snapshot by running again it manually in the context menu.

• 'New file' extension .php stuck when I want .html

  It is 5.5 Dreamweaver Mac Mac OS 10.6.7.  In preferences, I have new documents will be html and the .html extension, but every time I do a right-click on a folder in the files window, the new file is automatically done as untitiled.php every time.  I think I've changed once I was doing a job on a php site.  But now it's happening in every site, I work with.

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem without deleting a bunch of parameters in Dreamweaver?

  Check the site definition and see if you have defined as PHP/MySql server model (Advanced tab on the remote server definition).

• How to get DW CS3 recognize .phtml file?

  I work with the PHP files in DW CS3 with filename extension .phtml.  When I load these files in DW, I can only show the code, not the split view or design view.  But I am able to see these views if I rename the file extensions .php, so there must be a way to recognize the .phtml extension.  Anyone know how I can do this?  Thank you.

• Cannot get Mac to recognize the external hard drive

  try to get my CD on iTunes, bought a new external hard drive which worked flawlessly for 30 CD then nothing, iTunes does not seem to recognize when I put a CD in. Replaced the hard drive but no improvement.

  I can always migrate songs of a laptop.

  I'm confused. By "hard drive" do you mean "optical drive"?  I don't know how you get a CD to a hard drive.

  Do you mean in your iTunes library?  iTunes is the application itself which opens libraries. You can't get a CD on/in/at the inside of/etc, iTunes.

  I have a printer hp photosmart 8250, I bought a new HP touchsmart computer. The printer cd won't load, said is not compatible with windows 7, the printer is a 2007.I tried to load onwindows xp version, but it does not always load. Any suggestions?

• Cannot get permission to access some files restored from a windows vista backup

  Hello. I just installed windows 7 on a new hard drive. I bought the upgrade to windows 7 Home premium and I had to install vista on the new hard drive first then windows 7.

  I have all my files backed up on an external hard drive and I used windows vista backup and restore to do.

  I have now restored my files on my new hard drive using windows 7 backup and restore.

  I see all my files and folders, but the thumbnails are missing and when I try to actually open a file, a message informs you that I don't have permission to access.

  I tried to click with the right button on the files and changing the security, property, sharing and options, all to nothing does not.

  I tried a few ways to restore my files too, but nothing works.

  If I save a newly downloaded or created file (for example, a photo that I found on the internet) in the same folders, there is no problem and I can access, so the problem isn't that I don't have access to the records.

  Another weird thing is that I can access some of the restored files, but no more than them. I can't think what it is on those I can access that should make them different from those that I can't.

  So far it does not my simple PC! Can anyone help please?

  I should add that I am the ONLY user of this computer, and it is not on a network. Previously, it was the same when I am running windows vista. This is why I'm the only person who should be able to access the files.

  Same problem here after restoring a file backup of Windows Vista to a new installation of Windows 7. This solution worked for me: go to the command prompt, change the drive or a directory, you have problems with and type this:

  ICACLS * / reset/t

  Edit: You need to start the command prompt as an administrator to do. Find it in the start menu, then right click and choose 'run as administrator '. Then use the command as shown above.

  My app saves out of the configuration files that have an extension (.bft) to the top.

  How can I associate the type of file with my applications?  The final goal is to have it so that if a user receives an email with a file of .bft, they can click on it to open it and their blackberry would know to feed in my application.

• Cannot get CS8 to recognize my serial number

  Hey. I just lost an hour speaking with the staff of cat totally incompetent to Adobe. I have the demo version of CS8 on my iMac. I have the same software running on my iMac at home, no problem. I bought an academic plan for CS6 and used to upgrade at home in CS8. It works fine on my home iMac, but it does not recognize my serial number. Does anyone know how to fix it, or join a person who isn't in a read somewhere call center a script that they do not understand? Sorry for the tone, but I just spent an hour patiently explain this again and again to those who just couldn't follow me and does not seem to understand the software itself at all.

  Can you please specify the versions that you are talking about?  CS6 was the last version of the creative suite software released for purchase. The latest versions are all versions of creative cloud subscription, that's why I'm not sure what you are referring when you mention CS8.

• Cannot get RH8 to open a file search window (or open a file in the menu)

  I came across this question yesterday, it's only of RoboHelp which has the problem... no other application on the PC do it.

  When I was trying to replace a picture by clicking on the properties of the image, then using the "Browse" button or file location in the top right of the image properties window... first of all the window would be gray outside (as if a new window was / had opened)... then... nothing.

  took control to the application, in the window/palette in front of me (the window image properteis)... so I finally discovered I could regain control by pressing the "esc"... which made me think the software 'thought' a window was open... or to somehow it was beyond my visible opening are the office... so I pulled back to a single monitor... still nothing.

  I can't find the window if it opens to find image files...

  Also... I can't even see a window opens when I click "Open" in the file menu.

  Anyone?  Everything happened yesterday...

  Have you noticed a few updates/upgrades for Adobe Air, Acrobat maybe?

  I'm stuck... can not work right now.

  Do the thing to browse file where it appears to hang.

  Press Alt + space, and release both keys.

  Mr. Press (selects the command move)

  Press an arrow key.

  Move the mouse around a little and see if the window opens in the view.

  Save files, previously called crash dumps, allows you to save the information on the program for debugging later. Dump files can be especially useful when you are testing a program on a computer that does not have source files or a symbol. When an incident occurs, you can save a dump file and later, debug on the build computer or on another computer on which the source files and debugging symbols.

  Try these steps and check:

  Step 1:

  Run the disk cleanup utility should delete these files. You can remove the files if you want to save space on the hard disk.

  Try to delete the files as an administrator. To do this, try the following steps.
  a. Click Start, type disk cleanup, click with the right button on disk cleanup and click Run as administrator.
  b. place a checkmark on "System error memory dump files"
  c. click ok and check if the files are deleted successfully.

  Try to remove the dump files manually and check:

  To do this, follow these steps:

  a. Click Start, type or copy the following command in the start search box and click on enter.

  I have been searching forums and make my own diagnosis and lots of reading many posts. I found an article useful, but even with the update software, I keep losing the connection to the printer, and I have to restart to be able to print and scan. Even if I try to search again for the printer, it is not found on the Windows XP computer until I have it reboot. But if I reboot it, I don't need to re-scan for her. It works again for a few hours then stop working again. All other Windows 7 computers and laptops on the network are very good. They all have the same scan virus etc.

I think that the upgrade to Windows 7 is the solution for now. I'm running out of options. I tried stop and start the spooler to print manually, which used to fix a bunch of problems in the past in WinXP. Delete and add the printer again. Next step before win7 might be to uninstall the software and see if there is anything more recent than the software v25.

  As Curt said, you cannot change the criteria for the list yourself, but there are workarounds.

  Choose: Filename Contains / and in the text box add: .skp

  If your source contains multiple Sketchup files in different folders, this should give you the correct result

• Search & replace - can search a nonstandard file extensions?

  I m need to use find / replace to search for text in files with the extension *.ini, but don t DW (CS4) 'open to search for' this type of file, even I select the file and use "selected files to the Site."

  I use DW8/Mac to update my company's Web site. Recently, we have decided to make the site multilingual. To this end, our web server has been redesigned with multiple views. All the .html files have been renamed to. HTML.en and others. HTML.es files have been created for the Spanish version. And here, I came across a series of problems:
  
  (1) DW8 does not recognize files with. HTML.en &. HTML.es extensions to HTML. I scoured the Internet and found a solution for this one - I edited the /Configuration/DocumentTypes/MMDocumentTypes.xml file in the installation of DW to include new file extensions: .fr & .es. They now appear correctly coded by color in the editor of DW. Yes, Jose is more a problem, unless the DW gurus could direct me towards a better solution.
  
  (2) the real problem is this. Since I changed the file extensions for HTML files, the files are up to date is no longer automatically once I modified a DreamWeaver template file. I rebuilt the site cache - did not help. I tried "Edit-> Templates-> update Pages... ', this does not work either.
  
  I even tried to open a single page and make "Edit-> Templates-> apply a Page template", by checking the check against "Page updated when the template is changed" was present. Doing so change the page, but only once. Whenever I have change the model, this page does not change, because it is supposed to.
  
  Please advise!
