  If not help to tweak the parameters of your third-party firewall, try the following:

  1. disable your antivirus, all modules of Norton (as applicable), a real-time protection provided by an anti-spyware application (with the exception of Windows Defender; includes the Tea Timer of Spybot, AVG AS guard.exe, SpySweeper guards, etc.), disable the third-party firewall AND THEN select Windows Firewall.

• Cannot get online after installing windows XP Edition family on my laptop which was origally XP PRO

  I have a laptop HP Compaq 6830 s that had xp professional did not get a disc of bone with it when buying. The system crashed 0x0000007B error code. I installed OS XP Home version Pro Version and now I't does not recognize my modem or ethernet. Cannot get online. I'll tho the HP site and they don't have that driver for XP Pro Downloads Home Version.   You're right; There are a large number of items on this page.  You may be able to refine things if you enter your full product number, but if not, here are some general indications:

  "" For each of the downloads, click each tab on the download page and read the information on 'Description' improvements,' 'Instructions of Installation","System requirements"," Release Notes, "and"Revision history" before you install the downloaded driver.

  • Start by "Driver - Chipset" and use "9.1.0.1007 a (January 16, 2009).»
  • Then go to "driver - storage.»  Install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver.  Optional, but probably very desirable, install the new version of HP 3D DriveGuard.  You probably don't need (at least for now), the driver of chip card reader (unless you have an external drive of smart card).
  • Then go to "- Audio driver." Install the driver Microsoft UAA and the most recent drivers SoundMax ADI.
  • Then go to 'Pilot - graphics.' Install the new ATI video driver.

  At this point, most of your hardware should work correctly.  If there is always warning icons in Device Manager, you should be able to understand... or ask again here.  Read the 'Description' for other downloads to see if this is something you want or need.  Be aware, however, that many "Software" downloads are only updates or patches and not the complete package (which probably would have been preinstalled on a new computer.

  I googled this file pofusido.dll and it could be caused by a virus.

  I would suggest that you disable the restore mode as viruses use it to reinstall set apart them.

  Download and install the free http://www.malwarebytes.org/

  Restart the computer and keep pressing F8 to get into safe mode with network connection.

  Once you have updated Malwarebytes run and see if it can remove the virus.

  So delete all cookies in your internet Explorer.

  I installed a new hard drive and clean installed Windows 7 from a dvd, so I could then install Windows 10 from a record since the upgrade on my pc failed repeatedly.

  After I installed 7, everything worked except that I can't go online. I get error code 0 x 80070017 that tells me to install a network adapter or reinstall a driver. My internet connection in our House work that my husband is able to get online. We have Verizon DSL internet via a network cable.

  My husband downloaded the necessary driver for my pc to a website of HP flash drive, but it Wouln't install/run on my pc.

  If you still have problems with the flash player and this file, the only other suggestion I can offer would be to burn the file to a CD and run the executable file I've first validated from the CD or transfer the 2nd file I posted from the CD to the hard drive, or find the driver on the CD folder.

• Cannot get SW1 to the second network of ping and can't get the HQ router to ping SW1.

  Hello the forum community.  I am new to Cisco Configuration and cannot understand why, in the attached packet tracer file, I can't have my SW! switch to ping to the gi0/1 interface of the branch office router and beyond.  I also can't understand why I can ping to the gi0/0 interface on the router in the branch office router HQ, but cannot ping the switch SW1 and beyond.

  Ideally, I'm trying to configure the network so that PC1 can ping 172.16.1.100, which is a loopback on router HQ.  I ping the closure of the branch office router, but not the switch SW1.  I cannot ping the gi0/1 interface on the router of the branch of the SW1 switch and do not understand why.  I can also ping the gi0/0 interface on the router in the branch office router HQ, but cannot ping the switch SW1 of the HQ router.

  PC1 - 10.1.1.100 255.255.255.0

  SW1 - VLAN 1 - 10.1.1.11

  Branch gi0/0 - 10.1.1.1 255.255.255.0, gi0/1 - dhcp assigned as 209.165.201.1 255.255.255.224, dynamic NAT activated with access-list 1 (permit 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.255), the pool name is NAT_POOL with the address range of 209.165.201.5 - 10 255.255.255.224 as NAT address range.  I can see it working with debug ip nat active when I ping the router address 10.1.1.1 HQ, although I have test the ping without NAT and it is always successful.  Gi0/0 inside the nat, g0/1 outside the NAT.

  HQ gi0/0 - 209.165.201.2 255.255.255.224, dhcp server enabled to provide an address for the router in branch gi0/1.  I had to add a static ip route 10.1.1.0 0.0.0.255 209.165.201.1 in order to be able to get the ping to the router HQ to branch router gi0/0 to work.  Don't know if there is a better way to do it, but it's the only way I could make it work so far.

  I just bought a Blackberry Curve 8530, running v5 software, my computer is Windows 7. I installed the 501_b073_multilanguage software that I downloaded from the site Web of Blackberry.   ... because I can't get rid of the error message dialoge box, and I can't click on the menu options in the BB Desktop Manager.

  I tried the following:

  • uninstalled and reinstalled twice - 2nd uninstall was a "hard" uninstall where I deleted the registry files by hand
  • installs the cable to the USB port at the back (after having tried both ports at the front) of the computer
  • rebooted the computer several times
  • hard starts the phone by removing the battery
  • plugged in, removed and replugged in the phone.

  Also:

  • The phone is properly install when I plug it in, but the software still does not seem to see it.
  • In Device Manager, the BlackBerry appears under portable devices. Double clicking on it gives me the message "this device is working properly." of reassurring.
  • The Com1 port is working properly, according to Device Manager.
  • A double-click on the icon of the Device Manager to get the properties indicates that the Com1 port is "disconnected" - when I try to set it up, it appears just back to the disconnected state.

  If someone has an idea or something that I have not tried, I'd be happy of course!

  Good, people, after a phone call from 3 1/2 hour with a (very patient) phone support person to Blackberry, here's what I learned.

  You can check your drivers USB in this way:

  1. Plug your phone into your USB key. Assuming that your Blackberry is "seen" by your computer...
  2. Go into the Device Manager on your computer (Panel)
  3. Expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers at the bottom of the list item
  4. Right-click on the BlackBerry smartphone, and then select Properties
  5. Click on the driver tab
  6. Click the driver Details button
  7. You should see a driver. I saw two. The one like the BlackBerry is the RimUsb one.

  So here's what NOT to do: we threw any driver who has been the "extra". This actually made using my mouse and keyboard cannot, because they are USB and my poor husband has sent in the basement to find a million-year-old keyboard (and mouse) with the old fashioned type of connectors (PS2). Bleh. Don't, don't.

  Here's what I did that worked (not saything this will work for you - it changes the registry to a backup system with this backup and restore if you are nervous about this kind of thing):

  1. On the start menu, choose run and type regedit into the registry editor.
  2. Follow this path to the file: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SYSTEM, CurrentControlSet, Control, computer, class
  3. Click: {36FCE60-C465-11CF-8056-4445535400000}
  4. If there is an article called law "UpperFilters", delete it. (See photos)

• 1 cannot get online in live mail

  My operating system is Windows 7.  My e-mail program is Windows Live.  I have an email account with Comcast.  E-mail address of the primary in this account is * address email is removed from the privacy *.  Today, my husband wanted to access the emails to the address secondary e-mail to my account.  This secondary address is jordan432@comcast.   To do this, he clicked on "Accounts" at the top of the page on Windows Live; then clicked on 'email '; then type the secondary e-mail address in the box "add your e-mail address.   Best he can remember, he has sent or received messages.  When I had my list of messages on screen again, in what I thought was * address email is removed from the privacy *, and has attempted to send a message, he went to the Outbox because I was offline.  The computer screen then read "work online" in the lower right corner.  When a box appears saying that I was offline and asking if I wanted to go online, I clicked 'YES' every time that at least five times.  I'm still offline.  Curiously, when I all stopped and turned off the computer, waited a minute, then restarts the computer and went to Windows Live, message who had gone to the Outbox had been sent and then appeared in the sent box.  But I was and am, still off line for e-mail, even though I am online for you sent this message.

  Please help me get online for e-mail.

  You have a third-party program, probably Google Chrome, which interferes with the Windows Internet connection.

  When you see the message in offline mode , open Internet Explorer and then press Alt + F to open the file menu. If work offline is selected, deselect it. If it is not selected, select it, wait a few moments and then deselect. Now check if Windows Live Mail is still offline. If this is the case, repeat the cycle to select/deselect in IE until WLMail Gets the message.

• Cannot get rid of the empty Capture window

  I've been video capture from VHS tapes to a VCR by a Canopus ADVC-55 analog-to-digital converter.  I use Windows 7.  It worked OK, but at one point, first Elements 9 froze when taking and I aborted it via Task Manager.  When I reopened it PE9 a capture window empty blocking work area appeared (see Figure).  The window cannot be closed or moved, but can be resized.

  I have made several attempts to get rid of him.

  -J' started another video capture, which opened a new capture window without getting rid of it empty.

  -Starting a new project doesn't have a window.

  -J' uninstalled and reinstalled PE9.  The empty window always opens when I start the program!

  The program is still usable by resizing the window to small so large that I can access the controls, but I would appreciate any advice to get rid of the stupid thing.
