Cannot install CS5 after download

Mac OS X Mavericks.

I have a problem of corruption with the original installation, probably due to the removal of many other Adobe products associated with CC, I used for a year.

I downloaded Premiere Pro CS5.5, but Setup starts and then told me to go get the Setup Wizard, which I am told so on this page, has retired.

As far as I can see the downloaded installer volume 1.7 GB is fine.

Is there a reason that the installers should not be used? CS5 is still fine for my needs and I paid for it and should be able to use it, as far as I know.

The original installation initializes to the main screen and then gives error 131,4, saying to restart (which I did, without change.) A reinstall should solve such problems, if only it worked.

I talked to support via chat, and while 2 people were polite, the solution came not from there.  This is the solution:

Go to this page https://www.adobe.com/account/account-orders.html

Find my order history

Find the product by date, order number and on the right there is a Download button.

Download this product file. If you don't want to use the Akamai handler, you can just get the file under 'other options '. The key is that the number did not with the trial version.

The trial version is the one which is available on the web site. When you perform a search, you will find that. The key is that you must download the exact version you have purchased. This maybe could have bee, says somewhere near the lines on the way in which you will need a serial number, because the way the downloads page is written, it seems that you can download the trial and install it and use your serial number.

    I can't install Photoshop CS5 because installation asks me to insert the disc of CS5, but it alreay is inserted.  This is after you enter the serial number and signature to.

    If you have a problem downloading, you don't follow all 7 steps.  as a general rule, do not carefully follow steps 1, 2 or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies (a setting of restrictive browser) is another potential source of problems.

    Please follow the below as a solution and check the troubleshooting steps:

    1. tap on settings-> Apps--> all Apps-> Google Play Store: clear cache. Clear data
    -> Download Manager: clear cache. Clear data
    -> Google Play services: Clear Cache. Clear data
    2. tap on settings-> Security-> unknown resources: activate

    Note: All data backup of the phone before performing the steps above as it can erase important data.

    The script error is caused by the DPI setting on your system.  If the DPI setting is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% Setup returns the script error. If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work.  To check/change the DPI setting:

    1. Start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
    2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
    3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
    4. Click OK
    5. Select apply
    6. Open a session/disable
    7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

    A fix for this should be released in the coming weeks.

    I try to install CS5.5 on my computer without success. I'm installing from the DVD. When I try to install it says: "could not initialize installation. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. »

    I am more able to install programs - after changing the location of the documents folder in Vista on a mapped drive, the operating system tries to redirect the installation to the location of the documents folder and the installation fails.

    If I return the documents folder to its default location, the installation of new software is successful.

  • Cannot install cs5.5 after doing a restore point

    Here's the scenario:

    I have install adobe CS5.5 just last day.

    After a few days, I set up my windows theme.

    during the configuration of my theme, that I can't just make ^^ size and either.

    So I decided to use only the restore point...

    I noticed that the recommended restore point is the day that I was not yet installed adobe...

    ([so I choose open all the possible restore point, but the day I installed adobe mastcer collection 5.5 did not..])

    so now, I choose the recommended restore point and decide to reinstall everything adobe collection.

    After all this I see no shortcut in my office... but the adobe folder exist in prog leader / x 86 and prog files... Hmm

    so now, I have install adobe collection, but it fails to initialize the installation program and says download support Advisor...

    to uninstall first clean all the application, I use adobe suite cleaner tool... but it also a failure.

    Here is the last line I have manually delete

    so I use revo uninstaller, I uninstall the whole Adobe progfilex86 and progfile...

    but it shows the same result...

    I also get the InProgress key, but it has not shown to me...

    Hmm can you tell me what to do to uninstall adobe master collection 5.5 first clean and then install it again...

    now I have AdobeAIR and Flash T_T
