    Hello

    > Current display driver: Mobile Intel (r) Express ChipSet Family 945GM
And then you want to install a nVidia display driver?
    LOL :D

I think that you can not install a nVidia display driver because your laptop is equipped with an Intel chipset and graphics card.
You will never be able to install nVidia display driver and thus make the message that you do not have the correct material.

Intel and nVidia graphics cards graphics cards are different things, so don't mix do not!
Some P105 was equipped with nVidia cards and others with Intel card and it seems that you have an Intel card.

Try to extract the exe from another place, not in the temp folder.
In my case, I created a folder on a second partition (D) and have extracted the exe file in this folder. Can go to the Device Manager, and then can install the driver through the Device Manager.
Choose the installation procedure advantage and point to the folder that contains the extracted files.

Then clean the registry using the CCleaner.
This tool is freeware and can be downloaded on several different pages.

  • Cannot install driver WIFI on my Satellite Pro DR L850-1

    Hi guys,.

I installed windows 7 64 bit on my Toshiba Satellite Pro DR L850-1 by making the new partition which formats the hard drive.

After installation I was expecting windows 7 will find the drivers from internet or if not I'll download them from Toshiba Web site.

I downloaded and installed all the drivers from the LAN and WLAN drivers first.
All the other drivers installed perfectly and their respective hardware works fine, but the WLAN Atheros driver that does not install the Setup program does not start and I tried all means known to me or I can find on the internet to install it.

Any help will be much appreciated.
    Thank you.

Generally after a clean OS install, you should start with the chipset driver, display driver, driver sound and so on.
Have you installed driver chipset before you tried to install the WLAN driver?

By the way: you try to install this driver from the Toshiba download page?

  • Satellite A200-1 s 5 - cannot install driver LAN after installation of Windows 7

I have a laptop Toshiba A200-1 s 5, serial number: X7357433K. I just installed Windows 7 and downloaded and installed all the drivers of Toshiba laptop. I have no problem device in the system information screen.

In Device Manager, the cards I have that the "Intel (r) PRO/Wireless' network. When I install the downloaded driver for LAN (lan-20091103092515) it says "Realtek LAN Driver V7.003.0522.2009", but I can't not under network adapters - I don't know where he's going? I can't find everything Realtek device in Device Manager. Needles to say works Wireless LAN, LAN does not work.

Connectivity doctor shows Wireless Lan, Dial-up Modem and Bluetooth, but no LAN. Trying to load the driver from Realtek - does not help. -message: the device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device (Code 31)
I even tried to install from Realtek and update the driver for lan-20091103092515 - same error Code 31.

    Hey Buddy,

You have an unknown device in Device Manager? This could be the missing LAN card

Also check if there are devices hidden in Device Manager. So open the Device Manager and go to view > show hidden devices.

Normally, you should now see the LAN card and then you can update the driver.

    Check this box!

  • Cannot install driver update.__Graphics need something. He tells me that there is a solution.

I have two problems. The first is, I can not install the patch (KB973636) I get an error code 646.
Then when I look into the solutions of a problem my graphics device disk has stopped.  I check the updates and it indicates that the driver is up-to-date.
I'm relatively new to the computer, so I do not understand all the terms.

    Hello

You have Works 8 installed on your computer? If this is the control panel - Windows Updates - right-click on
It CACHE - sometimes updates will offer an update, that you don't need.

If you work 8 go here and put the KBxxxxxx number to download.

Download Center - mount the KBxxxxxx.

    Microsoft Download Center
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - click on - RUN AS ADMIN

Then you can right click on the update in the updates Windows and HIDE.

    ----------------------------------------------

To the problem of display driver (video), update your video driver manually using these methods - you can also update
    others as needed.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Cannot install drivers nVidia on M5-581TG

    Can anyone help please.
    I just bought a new M5-581TG with Win8 (I couldn't is no longer one with Win7, what I need).
I reformatted the SSD and installed Win7. However, I can't load the drivers nVidia for the GT 730 m.
I don't always get "no hardware found. I also tried to launch the program of detection of nVidia and who says that I have to
obtain the driver from the manufacturer. I'm guessing there is a setting that needs changing BIOS but I can't find
whatever it is (I don't have the password that allows me to access secure - start it shows password as "FROZEN" I think.)
    Can someone advise please?

    Update

I've had zero help, I thought I would post my findings. They can be useful to others.

Windows 7 Ultimate is now installed and works a treat!

The graphics card problem is now solved. I do not understand why, but I had to install drivers nVidia for Windows 8 Acer despite my demotion to Windows 7. Yet, the Acer driver provides for Windows 7 are very old, so it was a bonus that the drivers of Windows 8 worked in only a few questions behind (307.17). nVidia site has 314.07 as later but they cannot run - I just received a message from nVidia that I have to get my manufacturer drivers. As this seems to be some time before Acer make available, I thought I would have a try to make compatible the 314.07. After some effort I managed and now uses the latest version without any problems. So, it is good to know that it is possible to "do it yourself", but not for the feint of heart.

The problem of 'Frozen' hard drive seems to be a kind of glitch but software Intel confirms everything normal and not password protected. Twice now, when I checked the BIOS, it has been shown as 'Clear' - today it is 'frozen '! Go figure. I just need to determine if I can pass to a Samsung 840 - don't know if it will be physically fit. Finally, I am only just beginning now to 'use' the machine (I'm a software developer) and play the odd game - excellent rates too! So far this M5 seems to be a brilliant machine!

  • Cannot install windows updates and updates history screen is empty.

I can't install the windows updates. I have Windows Vista Home Premium. My automatic update is running... I studied and thought that the problem was with some service pack 2 I had to install - I did and nothing helped. My windows update history page is completley empty and Iwonder why. Also, I now can't seem to connect my Nokia phone to my computer as he finds the right driver online, but then it cannot install it. Can someone tell me what on Earth is cause of these problems. Thank you

The computer had only preinstalled Norton or McAfee, but I've since deleted these programs because I found them to be boring...

A properly installed, fully functional anti-virus application should never be boring. Although that pretty much excludes from the application of all the Norton and McAfee in my humble OPINION, there are others available.

    Hello

    1. What is the serial number and model of the printer?
    2. What are the failed updates?
3 have there been any changes made on the computer before the show?

I suggest you try the steps to solve the problem with the installation of printer.

    Method 1:
Run the Fixit and check if it helps.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You have the Nvidia Optimus model or simply Nvidia with switchable graphics? See this support page, check and then let us know.

    Keep us informed.

Edit: Also, have you changed switchable to discreet in the BIOS before you install the driver? I do not believe that XP supports switchable graphics, others is your XP updated to SP3? It is a requirement.
