Cannot install some add-ons

I'm running the last Aurora (8.0a2), although this problem existed also in 7.0a2. I have the add-on Compatibility Reporter extension installed, so I should be able to install add-ons for older versions of Firefox, and I can't.

However, some Add - ons do not install. (Three I've tried are WebRunner, AdBlock Plus Element Hiding Helper and open IT Online). The little bubble that appears indicates that it is downloaded. If I go to about: addons, the installation state is given as 'Audit', although nothing ever happens. If I restart Aurora and try again to install, I get a message that the add-on is corrupt and can not be installed.

What can I do to fix this?

I also have this problem and I noticed that add-ons install normally in safe mode.

This all happened all of a sudden in itself. I have not installed new programs or software of any kind. I have Norton Security software, but it was installed on my PC for 6 months without any problem. I uninstalled Firefox3.6, 10. And reinstalled it, but this does not solve the problems.

  • Some add-ons installed do not show in the toolbar

I have some add-ons installed that keep disappears from the toolbar at the top of the page where I want what they (next to the search bar). They include the video Download Helper and Cookies-Self-Destructing. I entered in Customizing, and these modules do not appear in the "features and additional tools. They are permanently installed because they show in the Add-ons Manager, but they aren't in the top bar - I down the module restored Bar and several of my modules show there, but not those. There is no arrow indicating that they are actually there but hidden. They are not there. I guess that there is some kind of conflict, but I don't know what it could be. He seems to have nothing to do with this theme that I use at the same time. Thank you. use: Windows 7, Firefox 50.0.2

There seems to be a problem with Ublock. If I uninstall it, the Add-ons reappear and I am able to put them in the toolbar. I installed Adblock Plus.

  • Some add-ons unachievable in version 40.1

I installed 40.1 FF and have you encountered a problem. I have some add-ons that do not work, for example Dashlane. It is stated that he "could not be verified for use in Firefox. Proceed with caution. Then, when I go into details, she mentions on a "signature of the add-on. I tried to do everything to get my extension work, even closing browser, erase my internet cache, cookies, history... Re-open FF and yet a few my custom extensions/add-ons will not come, the error of the add-on cannot be checked/add on signature.

Can someone help me with this, or it can solve.

    Thank you.

If Add-ons says "Proceed with caution" page, the extension is not blocked, this is just a warning for your information.

Your Dashlane icon disappears from the toolbar, or the icon does not work? What problems are you having?

You can try to update Dashlane to see if what works best with your Firefox 41? I installed version https://www.dashlane.com/download 3.5.2.91395 test and it appears on the toolbar. When I click on the button, after a delay, he invites me to create an account.

  • Installation of new add-on doesn't work and causes some add-ons do not want to work more.

When I tried to install an addon, it downloaded and tells me to restart Firefox, which I did. However, when I opened the menu of the addon, addon was not there. In addition, some (and some) addons like Adblock Plus, has stopped working. I tried reinstalling the addon, and she said that she had installed (with no need to reboot). I opened the menu addon again, and the addon was there and said it was activated, but it did not work. When I clicked on the Options button, Firefox froze in a funny way: my mouse wouldn't click anywhere on the window, but I could still scrolling with the wheel, handle tabs with keyboard shortcuts and type in the address bar and other areas. I have rebooted, deleted the addon, rebooted again and finally ABP started working again and everything was back to normal. I tried with several different addons, and it behaved exactly the same way every time. Anyone know what is happening?

You can try to delete the extensions.* files in the Firefox profile folder right out of Firefox. To open the profile via Firefox folder: help (Alt + H) > troubleshooting information > view folder.

Hello, this looks like a problem possibly caused by malicious software on your pc. Please go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

  • Satellite P200 - 17 c: cannot install some tools Toshiba Vista

Where should I start, planned to upgrade, any new machine to Vista Business I need to connect to the domain - Vista home prem (OEM) is not good.

Checked with tech support who advised me to download the drivers from the site I've done (why are they not supplied with the machine?)

System improved, tried to install the ATI driver it fails! (Note that this driver has been removed from the site.) Password utility fails (bad denunciation series only), sd utility fails (bad series of reporting don't). Value-added packages fails to install all components, specifically (TOSHIBA components common and pilot TOSHIBA Flash cards).

Tried the technical support, who advised to upgrade the bios, but that also failed.

    * So now have amachine which can not read flash, no function cards keys don't work, and the tool diagnostic Toshiba does not recherche.*

Apparently this was now refitted, but have to say, it very disappointing that there are not instructions on this process, I assume that there will be many users who want to upgrade the same way, because I'm doing.

Advice or assistance in the meatime would be highly appreciated!

    Hello

    > it is very disappointing that there are not instructions on this process
First of all, I wonder why you said something like that?  :|
I think you are not beginner and should be able to install drivers simply. Or I m wrong?
You have already visited the Toshiba driver European page then you've noticed that there are different series P200.
I hope that you have downloaded the correct drivers for the series on the right. The P200 - 17 c belongs to the PSPB6E. Check this box!

Also, I found a txt file of installation instruction on the driver page. Seems you didn t see!
You must follow the order of installation mentioned in this txt file!

    Good luck

  • Cannot install some service packs of windows

I tried to apply the updates of my software Vista premium home.  When I do, I get the error message 00000643 for "Security update for Microsoft .NET framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1 (KB929729)", an unknown error.  If anyone can help. This has happened since October 2008.  Thank you.
    Steven

    Hello Steventomaryn,

You need to remove all previous versions of the .net framework from the computer and then you will have to re - install on the computer.

To remove all versions of .net frameworks of the computer download and run the .net Framework Cleanup Utility from the link below:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/attachment/8904493.ashx

Once you have deleted all the .net framework on the computer, restart the computer, and then run Windows Update s and it will start to install all updates to update .net framework.

This should solve your problem. Please answer me if it helps.

    Cheers and enjoy... :))

  • Cannot install some programs-can't create the output file in the AppData\Local\Temp user account

When I try to install a program (.exe) it works winzip Self-extractor, which attempts to create a file in the directory Users\ (myusername) \AppData\Local\Temp\setup.exe

I just installed windows 7 and had to happen one or two times before that, I think, but I re-uploaded the file and I tried again and it ended up working. Now when I try to install this program (Hava), he says that it is unable to create the output file.

When I try to go to this place it doesn't even have the AppData folder I have to first create this path or is it a problem with the program? Any help is appreciated. Touch Pro

Well, that's possible. As WinZip SFX has a small option to overwrite without confirmation box.

You can move forward with delete the file setup.exe from the Temp folder in the sound is no longer used by any program (where its in the Temp folder)

You can also try now is, since its opening a WinZIP Self Extracting Archive, you can try manually, and manually specify where to extract the files before you click ok.

Once you do this, just run setup.exe from the specified location.
