  Yes, I know what you mean because I have too many Satellite A300 and it has a white light, but the color isn't interchangeable.

  I think to change the color, you need to change the s light or something else. In my opinion that s is not possible or very difficult and t shouldn't be done because you will also lose the warranty.

  I'm under ESXi 4.1 on a server of Dell T110

  I connect to ESXi with vSphere

  vSphere is running within a VM in Windows 7

  The Windows 7 VM is running in VMware Fusion on my Mac OS X system

  When I'm in vSphere and I selected a virtual machine and I click on the tab console on some systems the VM console release me when I press control + keys command as it should.

  pfSense (FreeBSD), Ubuntu Server and Windows Server 2008 (before installing VMware tools) behave like that. I can't get out of their screen of the console. I must stop these VM out of their access to the VM consoles.

  Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Ubuntu Desktop, etc, that all behave as I expect. When I press control + command keys I am released from the VM console and I am able to navigate in vSphere.

  After I install VMware Tools on Windows Server 2008 I don't have to press anything to be released from the VM console can I just move my mouse outside the console and interact with vSphere, which is what I expected.

  Shouldn't be able to leave the console VM using Ctrl + Cmde in any virtual computer if VMware Tools is installed?

  Anyone know what could be causing this device or a way around it?

  If the tools are installed as you have seen, you can safely move out of the console.  However, without tools, have you tried to release the cursor?

  As far as I know that all new Toshiba laptops come with the recovery of HARD drive image. This means that there is more no recovery media. When you start your laptop model, you will see a reminder about creating recovery DVDs.
  You will find on the desktop for Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator shortcut? If Yes, please launch it and create recovery DVDs.

  You will find the HDD Recovery folder on the second partition? Please do not delete it.

  The point is that the product key from the underside of the laptop can t be used with another drive in Windows. It s just for the preinstalled OEM version and doesn t work with other versions.

  Normally you n t have to enter a product key if you are using the Toshiba recovery disc because it contains a picture of the factory settings and is different from a disc of Microsoft Vista.

  Anyway, as said Akuma you can order a new drive Toshiba Recovery directly.
  The another model of laptop recovery disk will not work because the hardware is different.

  Hello. I think that the partition table and boot loader are messed up and it's your problem. You can try to chek to find errors and format your HARD disk with a third parity tool and try to install windows again.

When I insert a CD with the data, CD towers, there is slippage noises, at different speeds. The mouse cursor changes briefly shhowing a disc below it, the orange light flashes, but after some 40 seconds or so only a message appears "Please insert a readable disc. Needless to say, I tried several different CD. Only DVD movie I managed to read on the player.

  The drive is listed on the device as a Manager:

  The CMN Satellite A300 - 1 M 1 are:
  Intel CoreDuo P8400 2.26 GHz
  4 GB OF RAM
  I'm using Windows Vista (as it was installed on this laptop)

  I think that it s a CD/DVD drive problem
  There might be something wrong with the lens of laser disk or disks are not totally compatible

  You could try burning the disks on another computer and could attempt to read copied discs

  Otherwise you will need a new CD/DVD drive
