Cannot load Firefox profile
My old version of Firefox would not start, so I installed v 10.
Now, I get a message that the Firefox profile can not be loaded.
I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed but I always get the error message and it won't start.
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Have you tried to start Firefox with this command (use quotes and leave a space before the - P)?
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -P
You can also try to remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile.

Desktop HP Pavilion p7: user profile service does not connect, cannot load user profile
What happened to a certain number of times now. When I try to log on my user profile, it indicates that the user's profile could not and cannot be loaded. I should know how to handle this problem but it was a few months ago and I don't remember how to access my profile. Can you help me? Also, is there a way to simply build a new profile instead of trying to solve the old one every few months?
One of the fastest ways did a system restore to a date prior to the issue. Start in Safe Mode - once in safe mode, start / all programs, accessories, system to System Restore tools. Choose a restore date.
Here, the document shows ways to fix or create a new user profile:

I'm using Windows 7 OS.
While browsing using the Firefox web browser, all of a sudden it crashed it.I tried to re-open it. But it did not open. I tried to do this several times.
Then I uninstalled and yet once installed latest version of Firefox.
It's the same thing.Whenever I try o open Firefox, the msg - box says: "your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible. »
Help, please...!
A likely cause is a problem with the file profiles.ini and the profile marked as the default value = 1 in this file is no longer present on the hard drive.
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\. - http://KB.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
You can use one of them to make the Creation/use of a new default profile for Firefox:
- Remove the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile
- Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
- Use "Choose a folder" when you create a new profile to select the location of a lost profile and recover this profile
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\

"Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded error - NO HELP HERE SOLUTIONS
I have a version of MAC OS X 10.7.5. I download firefox and got the message: lack of profile. Cannot load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. I tried everything on the index page and multiple pages on Google about this problem. Nothing has been fixed. I used a program called AppDelete to completely remove the program and reinstall... 3 times. He has not fixed the problem. I happily use other browsers, but a program that I need for my business by error requires Firefox. Before that I eliminate this seller is there anything you can suggest? Or maybe intend to resolve this problem which seems to be prevalent among users of Mac and PC?
I don't know if it's the same problem, but basically, I reset Firefox settings by default, however when I look for a page (for example, facebook or yahoo) it says "" unable to connect - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server www.google.com".
It is not satisfied with the Solution Explorer, which allows to me surf freely. I can't find any kind of support team to send to this topic, can someone help me with this? If not, can someone point me in the direction of WHO to ask?

Cannot load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible.
I had downloaded a game, and while he was full I tried to open it in order to play. After I opened my laptop hanged just for long time that I am impatient and decided to restart. Since then, I can't use Mozilla firefox because it does not open, but only displays the text "failed to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. ", but since that time, on my desk there was a folder that appeared under the name 'old data firefox' Please help
You must locate the profiles.ini file and delete this file or use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.
See:
This problem may be caused by a problem with the profiles.ini file or with the permissions (owner) of the concerned files.
You can use one of them to retrieve an existing profile or create a new default profile for Firefox:
- Remove the profiles.ini file to make Firefox create a new profile (default)
- Use the Profile Manager to create a new profile
If you have an existing profile, then click on "Choose a folder" in the Profile Manager and navigate to the location of a profile lost to recover this profile
https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/managing+profiles
You should find the file profiles.ini in this hidden place:
- Windows: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\
* C:\Users\ < user > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\ - Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox /.
- Linux: ~/.mozilla/firefox/
If the file profiles.ini compensation does not work then also check the location of the cache files.
- Windows: * C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.
- Mac: ~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/
- Linux:~/.cache/Mozilla/Firefox/
You can also try to rename/delete the MozillaFirefox folder in the two above mentioned places (main, cache).

The reason why I deleted my firefox profile on my MAC and uninstalled firefox is because it was not appearing in the application menu or the dock and I have found whenever I wanted to use it. I couldn't put it on the dock or anything like that.
When I downloaded again and tried to start it, there was the error message, "unable to load your Firefox profile. It may be missing or inaccessible. "And now I can't use it at all.You must remove the file profiles.ini so because Firefox registers all the profiles you see in the Profile Manager in this file and delete the file on disk, Firefox will display this error message.
Otherwise, you will need to use the Profile Manager to create a new profile.

Message to me-"your firefox profile cannot be loaded.
It may be missing or inaccessible. "A folder appeared earlier that opened to a list of the profiles that I saved it, but when I followed the instructions to change the name of the default profile, it doesn't always work. Shoul I moved the folder with the profile somewhere. Right now it is on the applications page.
Thank you! Betty McD
