  • Cannot match Smartphone with Satellite A100 for ActiveSync

    Hi, on board.

I can't use ActiveSync to sync my phone with the laptop; It seems that the twinning of 2 devices fails.
With USB connection I can ActiveSync successfully.

    My devices are:
    * Toshiba Satellite A100 (PSAA9) with ActiveSync 4.2 and Toshiba Bluetooth Stack 4.20.01
    * HTC MTeor with Windows Mobile 5.0 SmartPhone

I tried to follow the HowTo in:
    http://APS.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

How-> ActiveSync via Bluetooth (TOSHIBA PC - smartphone with Windows Mobile 5)

I find cela the opportunity to say that it is wrong that the HowTo is not in the English language.

In any case, I followed him through until page 8, 18 statement, where the third picture shows the box in ActiveSync checked; my phone doesn't have this box: it has "Serial Port".
I check "Serial Port" (also tried not to check...) and continue until the 21 statement. Well, it stops there; I don't understand that messagebox; in fact nothing happens, not in the laptop or the phone and they don't get matched.

Found here a recent thread, asserting the need to define COM7 in the registry. I did it. Oddly enough, COM7 is not my LoalCOM server, but a customer LocalCOM; COM8 is the LocalCOM server.
    I tried also with COM8.

I tried to remove Bluetooth Stack completely and reinstall (embedded version and latest version).
    I reinstall ActiveSync 4.2.
I also tried with ActiveSync 4.5 BETA.

    Nothing worked for me.
    Help, please.

Note: I have activesynced the same phone via bluetooth successfully with a HP laptop which has its own bluetooth software with, I think, virtual serial port driver of widdcomm.

    Thank you.

    Hello

This Smartphone is not known to me, but I really put t know why you try to use BT between MTeor and laptop when connecting USB works. Using this connection, you can do whatever you want.

BT on Smartphone is useful if you want to connect the small BT headset, but I don't see the reason to try this when the USB connection is working successfully.

If there is no success I put t think it is Toshiba related question and also try to contact HTC support. They know more about the own products.

  • Documents to Smartphones blackBerry to go Torch 9810 7 OS and office to go Premium 2.0 - Docs cannot match

New Torch 9810 OS7 with Docs to 3.0 GB replacing Torch 9800 (now deceased; bouncing on a concrete floor of ~ 8' is not good, LOL).

I have Docs to go Premium 2.0 on my laptop. I can't add a device and pair the 9810 little matter what I do. Therefore, I am not able to synchronize files on my laptop with the Torch 9810. I initially bought Docs to Go from DataViz in 2008, including the updates over the years.

It seems that Premium 2.0 cannot work with OS 5/6, 7 operating system. Can't seem to find a definitive answer on the RIM or DataViz sites. In fact, DataViz apparently can't stand the Docs to Go for the 9810 Torch.

I know 7 OS is very new, but can anyone provide any assistance or guide me to the right place to ask questions?

    Thank you.

    K. Glenn Cole

[P.S. I'm fairly certain that I can update my Torch 9810 manually for now. It's just that I'd rather be able to synchronize seamlessly I did when the Torch 9800 was still alive].

Yes!  Finally found after a call * of * upper RIM support. It was a * after * a few phone calls, a terse letter to RIM Corporate HQ and really bad technical advice to support RIM who said, essentially, "can't do... You must manually synchronize. »

The senior support specialist said that the instructions are not clear. This is what happens when the RIM has the part BB of Docs to Go and DataViz has the desktop application. DataViz is not without some guilt here. They have just "wash their hands" to * any * question involving RIM and Docs to Go, and they have the desktop version used for synchronization with the BB.

I'll have to see how it works over time, but let's say I'm cautiously optimistic. (That means I'll be surprised if it works 100% of the time!)

Whenever I run the Device Manager and try to pair with usb I get a "could not connect! Unplugged device or can not be detected. When I connect the usb cable, a new network connection is created in the 169.254.0.X subnet.

For others using NetworkManager, that's what I did:

    1. Open the connection editor and change the connection that corresponds to your BB device.
    2. Go to the IPv4 tab
    3. Method of manual adjustment.
    4. Click Add and the value 169.254.0.2, 255.255.255.0, 169.254.0.1, address, netmask, gateway, respectively.

    To my limited knowledge...
Windows Mail is a Mapi Simple client.
MS Outlook is a full Mapi client.
In short, WM cannot do the job. You need Outlook. That's the extent of my 'know-how '.
Talk to your "so-called" PMB support people. Ask a higher level tech to talk to you.

PS just a question: I don't know anything about PMB. What is in PMB Launcher that Vista cannot match?

  • Pairing Bluetooth

cannot match iPad Pro with Bose speakers. iPad 4 pairs without problem. Tried power down, then cold start... nada. Latest version of iOS just loaded (not impressed so far). All of the suggestions. ?

    Hello, Susanlaurence!

Thanks a lot for the use of Community Support from Apple. After reading your post, I see that you cannot associate a set of Bluetooth speakers with your iPad Pro – even if the pair speakers with your iPad 4 without problem. I use a few Bluetooth devices myself, so I know how much they can be; I'd be happy to help you!

First of all, since you are able to match the speakers with your iPad 4, I wish to begin by ensuring that Bluetooth is disabled on this iPad under settings > Bluetooth before you try to pair with the iPad Pro. You can pair your speaker with multiple iOS devices, but they can only actively be connected to one at a time.

Once the Bluetooth feature is turned off on the iPad 4, use the following article to try to match your Bose speakers:

Configure and use third-party Bluetooth accessories

If you're still having problems matching the speakers after that, you can use the additional steps and information in the article below.

  • How you turn off pairing a show from a cleaned iphone?

    Hello

Follow these steps to clear your locked watch and pair it with your iPhone:

    • Connect your watch to its charging cable with power connected.
    • Hold down the side button until you see the cursor off the power.
    • Press Power Off (don't try to drag - just press more firmly than a normal tap), then press erase content and settings.
    • Associate your watch by using the app on your iPhone, choosing backup restore if offered the choice.

  • Air iPad with 9.3.2 Bluetooth issues

I upgraded my iPad Air to 9.3.2 and now it does not connect with all Bluetooth devices. It will not find most of them, but even if there is a discovery, it will not pair with anything.

Just before that, I reset my iPad completely and refreshed with the new iOS.  My iPad showed 700 MB of memory left in the memory usage, but when I connected to iTunes on my laptop it showed nearly 13 GB of available. I tried to remove several things, deleting and reinstalling apps, but nothing seemed to free up memory, and most of the memory is being taken over by one big yellow 'other '.  So I reset the iPad and started from scratch. When it resets itself, it is automatically downloaded 9.3.2. I didn't restore from backup, but I rebooted all the apps that I've had, and the memory issue has been resolved (I now have a little more 13 GB of available), but now I can't connect to my Bluetooth keyboard, car or speaker.

I went through the process of resetting the network settings and reset all settings. I have turned on and off Bluetooth several times. I have turned on and off other devices several times. I turned them all on and off in a different sequence. My iPad that air will not connect to any Bluetooth device.

I read that there is a significant problem for many users. Please let me know when a fix will be made available, or to explain how I can downgrade to 9.3.1.

  • FAQ (26): I installed a different version/version of Windows and now SDM will not show me updates.

I installed a different version/version of Windows and now the SDM does not work in "Update" mode

This can occur when some system that HP did not specifically tests with the model is installed and often happens with models and Windows Ultimate edition (or even 64-bit editions on some older models) before Windows 8 Ultimate.

Because SDM detects the new operating system, but it cannot match in the SDM catalog, he (SDM) will disable mode "Update."  However, please note that you can still use SDM mode 'All products' to download your SoftPaqs by doing as follows (the Probook 4730 s is used as an example):

    1. Press the "view all products" in the SDM toolbar
    2. If a dialog box warning that "no operating system have been selected, then skip to step.
    3. Press OK to close the dialog box.
    4. Check the «Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64 Edition»
    5. Click on the tab "language filter".
    6. 'English - International' is checked.
    7. Press the OK button.
    8. Now, expand the tree on the left side of the SDM application by selecting the following:
    9. HP Probook Notebook PC Series 4700
    10. HP Probook 4730 s Notebook PC
    11. Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition 64
    12. Check the box 'international - English.
    13. Press the button "find available SoftPaqs.
    14. After "things calm down", click on the button "See the last SoftPaqs" at the top right of the application of SDM.

The latest list of the Softpaqs for your model should now be displayed. We recommend that you download all listed SoftPaqs. This whole new way SoftPaqs are released for this model will appear on the top list titled "Available SoftPaqs" display.

To install a SoftPaq after downloading, do the SoftPaq to the ListView "Downloaded SoftPaqs" right click and select "install SoftPaq.

Important note: most SoftPaqs listed using the method above should apply to your model, but a small number of SoftPaqs might not be applicable to your model due to the offers of different material for your model. This means that not all listed SoftPaqs will install on your model and that is normal.

  • Tecra 9100 find address mobile phone but don't then pair with it

I had problems with my laptop built in bluetooth. All I want to do is simply send files from my laptop to my phone via bluetooth. However, this has become a very frustrating task. Battery bluetooth (V1.2) software that originally came with my Tecra 9100 laptop was completely useless - there not even "light" even know I clearly choose the Activate button.

I messed around with the options and nothing worked so never wholesale, so I downloaded 5.4 or anything on the Toshiba site and uninstalled v1.2 (should I have?). Finally, when I searched for devices, an address has shown (address of my mobile I think) so I chose
address and push next. 'Connection... '. ""Unable to connect to service"(or something like that). Why can it not pair with my phone? That is the question.

PS when I search my phone devices, my computer name appears but when I select it it says that it cannot match. Help! Oh and I just uninstalled Bluetooth Stack everything it is called because it's useless! :(

If you want to send files to your mobile phone. Some phones don't support FTP. This means that you cannot send multiple files at the same time. You must use the Object Push function in this case, because this function (profile) is supported by most of BT Mobile phones.

You can try the following. --> Mouse-right click on the Bluetooth icon in systray-> Bluetooth information interchange-> Bluetooth-> Device Discovery-> Object Push drag and drop a file that will be sent to your listed phone icon. Check your mobile phone which will ask you a dispatch confirmation.
