  Mac OS has incorrectly set the permissions for the folders of your preferences. It is a common problem when you upgrade a Mac OS rather than installing the new version costs.

  When you upgrade a Mac OS (as opposed to install new fresh version), Mac OS is _often_ set permissions for folders and files incorrectly.

  You will see this problem in the programs such as After Effects in the form of error messages indicating that a file cannot be written, overwritten or renamed.

  To resolve this problem in the case of After Effects, go to the Preferences folder and define file preferences _entire_ (Library/preferences/Adobe/After Effects/12.0/) and all its content to not be writable, read-only.

  Urgh, I want to pull out my hair with frustration!

  Depending on the subject, some to fail my VM to open/run at all after a VMware Update. I'd be less upset if it was a Windows Update, but an update directly from break of VMware virtual machine? No excuse imho. I know not what to share or where to start, as far as I know is the last version of the VMware Player app which is 6.0.7 build-2844087.

  A virtual machine of interest is a MAC OS Mavericks, one and it seems fair to charge indefinitely without any sign of loading completely. I see the Apple logo and a spinning wheel of progress, but it progresses no further than that.

  running MAC OSX on VMware player is not supported and is not possible out of the box, as it breaks Apple EULA, which says that you are allowed to run WHAT MAC OS on Apple hardware brand.

  If you had installed some third party for VMware player changes eliminate this technical barrier, and that is perfectly fine and expected that your MAC OSX VM no longer works on your VMware Player.

• Aurora Firefox crashing when opening after update

  I'm under 32.0a2 Aurora. This morning I upgraded to Aurora when the popup little said that there is a new update available. Since then, I have not been able to open Aurora. It crashes everytime I do, even in safe mode. Sometimes I can manage to get Aurora to open, but when I try to go to a Web page (any), it crashes again. The Mozilla Crash Reporter comes up and asks me if I want to send a report, he asks if I want to reboot or restart in safe mode. No matter what I do, it crashes. Here are the latest reports:
