  I have a problem within Windows Explorer, I file open with say dozens of PDFs I have the preview pane open so I can tell what was on the pdf file selected without fully open. After you have determined whether I need it or not, I'd go for delete the file.   3. remove the drive and use another pdf reader

  I found the solution in a forum of the ambient light.  The problem was that I was using an older version of View NX2 to transfer files. I uninstalled this version and install the version provided with the D3200. The files load now in 11 items with no problem. Apparently, the old version affects the content of the NEF files, as elements was not able to recognize them, gave an error message that the files came from a camera unsupported.

  as suggested above, Amy if you download items from a network drive, move your files to local computer HD and download from there. Download the data to a network drive is known to cause unpredictable errors

If you get the message that the file is "corrupt" or "not supported" means that you have another program or display of PDF files.
