Cannot open webdav URL in Windows Explorer

I'm working on a page that is looking for collections (folders).
From the results page, I would like a link that opens the folder in Windows Explorer.

But when I click on the webdav URL it opens UCM 'Browse folders '.

SAY, I installed, but it did not help.
I have a Setup "network place".
I can create a shortcut to open webdav in Windows Explorer, simply do the same thing with a URL.

Thank you

In the number short

I told the development team a couple of years.

I had a client who wanted a shortcut of windows AND Explorer

The answer they gave was (paraphrase and memory), it is theoretically possible to do for the shortcut with any Windows Shell development. It is also possible to do it from the browser, but would be one IE solution and require custom development.

  • Cannot open IDCS5.5 in Windows Explorer

I installed Creative Suite 5.5 Design Standard on my Win XP last week. After a week to run the program successfully, I decided to uninstall older versions. Since then, all the ID icons are unidentifiable, and when I right click to open, I get the error message that it is a unknown file association. The only way I found to open my files, is launching ID, file and open. Is there a way to fix this?

    INDCS5.5.jpg

It is a well known problem with the uninstallation of the previous versions. There are probably a few Registry hacks, you can try, but honestly, the best thing to do would be to uninstall 5.5 and then reinstall it.

  • I am not able to open anything that uses Windows Explorer and get the message as Windows Explorer (not responding)

Original title: I'm not able to open anything that uses Windows Explorer

I'm not able to open anything that uses Windows Explorer.

When I try to open: My Documents, Control Panel, any Office application, etc. - the window remains empty and said "Windows Explorer (not responding)."  My desktop icons are filled and I am able to open the Task Manager.

Any help is greatly appreciated?  Also, I'm not a technology person, so please be very percise.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the help.

I had installed the update of MS Windows Defender KB915597.  After doing a restore to the point of restoration, taken at the time of the update, I am now able to open Windows Explorer.

Seems that something in this update does not work with my system.  I have had no other problems with Windows Defender updates in the past - it was the first.

    Thank you.

  • I can't open anything that uses Windows Explorer...

I just installed Office 2007 and now I can't open anything that uses Windows Explorer. This includes the trash, all files and folders, same control panel. The only things I seem to be able to run correctly are programs. When I try to open anything, I get a popup window stating "Windows Explorer...". (Not responding) "and it will remain forever as this very pretty. After some clicking, it will inform me that Windows Explorer has stopped responding and that I can force close, waiting, etc.

I can't open all the products of the 2007 Office Suite that I just installed but I can't delete them either, since I don't have access to these files in the Panel. I checked in the file manager, and he said I actually opened these programs (I had 6 cases of execution of Excel), but they do not open and are just frozen on my screen.
I tried xplorer2 download and access control by that Panel, and it froze AGAIN, although I could enter some of my files that I could not earlier.
What can I do if I can't access control panel to remove things or to restore my system? Should I delete the MSOffice registers?

    Fixed! Ignore the previous message!

It was something within the Office itself, which was to ruin. I ran the diagnostic tool of the Office she found an error of diagnosis, repaired, Office has been able to open (and then I had my Windows Explorer as well back function). Woohoo!
For those who have similar problems, I did start > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Microsoft Office Diagnostics and he ran.
  • MMC cannot open the file C:\windows\system32\WF.msc

When I try to open the Action Center, I receive this message. MMC cannot open the file C:\windows\system32\WF.msc

    Hello

Thanks for posting the question in the Microsoft Community forums.

According to the description, you get a message of error 'mmc cannot open the file C:\windows\system32\WF.msc' when you try to open the center of the Action.

We will perform the steps and check.

    Method 1:

Try to access the Windows Firewall configuration through the console Microsoft Management console.

    a. click on start
    b. type MMC (right-click and choose Run as administrator)
    c. click on file (in the upper right corner)
    d. click Add/Remove snap-in software component
    e. Select Windows Firewall with advanced settings, in Add Remove snap-ins windows
    f. click Add (clicking ok does not make any changes)
    d. click OK and you should be able to use the settings of the Console 1 window.

    Method 2:

If you are able to use the settings of the firewall through MMC, then scan your computer for corrupt system files.

Perform a SFC scan on your computer. Consult the following link:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

Hope this information helps. Please reply with the status so that we can help you.

  • Cannot open a new browser window

I have a few users who have problems connecting to Discoverer on new PCs. They use the Internet Explorerer 8. They are able to get to the login, but when screen connect achieving (or go) they get an error: "cannot open a new browser window. Make sure that you don't have a pop - up disabled for this site".

Of course the first thing I had to do was disable popups blocker all together. But they still have the error (even when they restart their PC). Other than that, is there something that I miss in how they must configure IE8? I'm personally used to use IE6 at work and do not know much about the setting of configuration for IE8.

    Thank you!

Check if you have a toolbar (like Yahoo, Google toolbar)
These toolbars have their own Blocker for pop-up windows.
You must disable the pop-up blocker also with the blocker IE.

    Thank you
    Fati

  • Cannot delete a Word in Windows Explorer file, said his opening in MS Word

I have a regular file to MS Word (Word 2003) that I can't delete or move when I'm in Windows Explorer.  Whenever I try to move or delete the file, I get an error message saying: the file cannot be moved or deleted because it is open in MS Word.  However, MS Word is NOT open, nor is the file open in MS Word.

How can I delete this file?

P.S. The author of the file is known to me and other files from this author (or ANY other Word, Excel, pdf, files etc.) can all be deleted or moved - no problem

    Hi Holger-TLS,

If you close the program, but the file is not yet clear, restart your computer. You can view all programs currently running on your computer in the Task Manager.

    Try this:
    1. press Ctrl + Alt + Del
    2. Select the Task Manager
    3. check if word.exe runs in the process
    4. If it is running, end it.

  • Cannot open the .eml files in Explorer windows except for Windows Live Mail

In Windows XP, I could download the files of .eml Windows Live Mail on my computer and then open them from almost anywhere on my computer. In Windows 7, I can only open these files in Windows Live Mail. I have created an association between the 2, but I can not open files with the exception of Windows Live Mail. How can I change this?

Simple design flaw. Simple solution - but he just buried by so many doors to Microsoft you idiots jump through.

    Follow these steps:

I found the solution: Set Window Live Mail (WLM) defaults for EML files in Winodws 7:

Panel--> programs-> set your default programs--> Windows Live Mail--> choose Defailts for this program. Now simply select .eml by checking the box. Select Save at the bottom and close.

    There you have it.

  • Cannot click on URLs in Windows Mail.

After installing Windows Security Essentials (Vista) can't click on URLs in emails from Windows Mail. Get error message saying Windows cannot find the URL and the browser does not open. Forum Microsoft says that it is a problem with antivirus software. Should I change the window Security Essentials?

MSE makes no changes, or it doesn't block the URLS in emails. It is a setting of security in the e-mail program or the URL handler to the OS (open with) level.

    What operating system?

    Prior security software?

No matter what security software installed again?

A possible reason for this problem is that you have installed entirely or partially on the PC security software conflict. Remove all other computer security software.
You may need to use a cleaning tool to remove your prior security software:

Click right a NAVE in windows Explorer, and then open with. You may need to browse
