Cannot pan (hand tool) when zoomed out

Hello

1 make a document

2 zoom out so you can see the edge of the canvas

3 try to move using the tool 'hand'-> cant pan, canvas remains in the workplace

4 - zoom in just enough for your display window is greater than the limit of the canvas-> can now Pan (but when you zoom in abit after pan to the side, he appears in the middle)

- OR rotate the zoom on the canvas so that one of the corners is superior to your display window-> can also pan (but when you reset the rotation after a few pan, it appears in the middle)

Lets say, I want to draw in the lower right corner of my canvas to zoom which does not canvas exceeds my window, but at the same time I want to pan so I have the bottom right part of the image near the middle of my screen (if it is not lost under my layers window and also if I'm away from the edge of my Tablet) but I can't because the canvas does not exceed my vision of the viewport.

To work around this problem until this ive been either turning the abit of canvas and drawing like that so I could pan or I reverse the image or move my palettes on the other side for easy access, but it is a mess so I usually resort to have a window in double for the same image on the other monitor that I keep with zoom out to get a view of the whole of the composition , then painting sort of "blind" in the first window with close zoom that allows me to pan and to paint a bit near the middle of the screen and look at the results in the second window. I also think about making the largest canvas and relying on a small part of it in the Middle, but I'm working already to like 10 k res and that would slow things even more than I guess.)

Am just missing something? Or is there any workaround solution better?

You can work in mode full-screen (F key) that allows panning of the document regardless of their size.

I apologize for this easy research question, but neither documentation nor my own tests seem to indicate a clear answer.

I have a graph of waveform and I use the zoom and hand on the graphic palette tool.

    1. after the application of the hand tool, how can I resume to the original curve?

    2. I have to zoom in a part of the graph several times consecutively, say twice. After the secodn zoom, I would take the result of the first zoom.
The way the features of zoom-in and zoom-out work generally.

In the graphic palette, the icon at bottom left of the zoom features, simply offer the opportunity to return to the initial version of the chart.

I couldn't find a way to get a zoom-out extra as described above?

    Y at - it all?

    Thank you!

    MG.

    (1) use the Zoom all

    (2) you must programmatically.  When you zoom in, store the scale data X and Y (max and min).  You can make a button to return to the previous zoom then assigning data to scale with the values that you stored.

  • My shortcut to zoom (Z) tool assumes Zoom out. I want to Zoom in...

How can I change it to be configured as IN Zoom (+)?

    Thanks for your time!

    Concerning

IN your bar options at the top of the screen, there are icons to zoom in and out on the left. You want the default zoom icon. When you click on these icons, they are 'sticky', which means they will stay like that.

If you have a more recent version of Photoshop, you can use the scrubby zoom, otherwise, use the keys of your modifyer, alt/option to zoom out. Unfortunately the zoom brush works inside dialog boxes.

  • PNG8 has white around transparent lines, only when zoomed out on mac / ipad

    Here is my site:

    http://smartpeopletalkfast.co.UK/pp/

The shop by the menu "category" consists of images, some of them PNG8 with transparency. Normal zoom, all right, but when I Zoom in on my mac or my ipad I get white lines on the border of the transarency.

    How can I fix?

    Thank you

OK well it's always a flattened PNG, not a Fireworks PNG in layers. No text or vectors, just a flat bitmap. In any case...  I opened the file.

You selected a matte white color.

Matt color can ruin the edges of the transparent in a file of anti-aliasing, because FW tries to mix the pixels of contour with matte color of designated. In the original FIREWORKS png file, set the matte color to no color. EXPORT (save or save as) the file.

But I think your guilty in this case is perhaps not a matter of mast, assuming that this file is what is currently used on the web site. I noticed when changing the color of the cloth for the tests that there is a beige pixel wandering in the upper part of the background.

Because it is already an alias file, there is no noticeable difference when I export (other than the stray pixel, that may be the problem, what you are referring.) I zoom out, as far as I could on my Mac in Firefox and Safari and seen without white edge, probably due to the tough anti-aliasing on the supplied file. Below shows the file re-exported with and without mast. Yet once, Matt is not a problem with this example because the edges of the image are already aliased. Results can be different from a folder containing smooth contours.

  • hand tool shortcut does not

    Hello

Does not work all of a sudden double clicking on the hand tool to zoom to 100%.  It does absolutely nothing.  I was playing around with the guides (turning power switch), and then all at once the hand tool refused to work.  Zoom / out, it's suddenly a huge drag!  Can someone help me with this?

Also, done Illustrator used to have an option "take back"?  I thought I remembered one but now I only have Undo/Redo and I can't tell if I'm confused with Photoshop.  Thanks for any help!

Are you sure by double-clicking the hand tool is not "fit to screen"? Try Cmd + 1.

Cmd + z is "Undo". It is equivalent to "Step Backwards" in PS.

Depending on your reaction time, escape may work. If not, what Bob says to resize the zoom box, and then drag to move it around, the evacuation valve to freeze the view.

    Kind regards

  • When I try to pan and scroll in Photoshop by using pan/scroll my Wacom Intuos it lag/saccade, but when I manually click on the hand tool in Photoshop and use it, it does not lag. The difference is not dramatic, but it is quite remarkable. Someone at - it

I just bought a new Intuos Wacom Pro 5 and I am trying to configure shortcuts so that my workflow will be more effective, but when I put my stylus to pan/scroll and use it in Photoshop CC 2015, it lag/stutters a little. When I manually select the hand tool (which is supposed to do the exact same thing as the command on my pen) and use in Photoshop it does lag at all. Everyone knows about this problem?

[Left the forum Cloud/Installer generic for program specific forum... MOD]

I don't use CC 2015 there too many questions. However, I just test cc 2015 with my Wacom Intuos Pro and don't have your problem. I have my Pen down toggle switch together space to switch to the hand tool. When I press it I can pan the image smoothly and without any lag. With CC 2015 if I quick pan out from the coast to a stop well. My workstation is running Windows 10.

  • Super thin black border showing around video when I zoom out or pan the video...

    Hi all

I have a video I do at Adobe first Pro CS5.5. I use 2 video slots in the area of Premiere Pro sequence. A white picture is 'video 1' spot and a video is in place "video 2".

The image in white in 'video 1' slot machine is the exact same color as the background color of the video in "2" slot.

The reason is when I zoom out video or the plate is a bit off the screen I just want it looks like video is moving (and I don't want anyone to be able to see the black background which is the normal background color on a Premiere Pro video).

After that I go to the control of effects and change the position and scale of the video; video on the scales and pans on fine... However, the border of the video shows a little... .even wobbles a bit. Is there a way to get rid of this line thin black border? So no one can tell where the video (in 'video 2' slot) ends and where is this white background I have in "video 1"...» of removing this flickering border?

Here's a Screencast of the question. I point to this border thin I don't speak when I pan the video (which reveals the white background): http: Screencast.com/t/45xp0bQ82f

Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I appreciate it.

  • Why cant i pan with zoom back or can't I pan beyond the boundaries of the canvas when zoomed in?

If you press ctrl + 0 (cmd + 0 on mac) to adapt to the window, hold space (hand tool) to position the canvas where you want to, you can not.  It won't let you.  Same as when im zoomed in and I want to the edge of the canvas for not being on the low absolute of the screen.

IM curious to know why I don't see this problem online?  COINCIDENCE?  Well, probably.  But no one is embarrassed to not be able to pan past the canvas boundries when zoomed in?  Before you say that's not useful... its very useful. When you drag the handles of a transformation well you can't, when you have all that goes outside the boundries canvas it is often advantageous to be able to pan the bottom middle of the screen.  Vector information is not cropped out... and is anyway not have crop the image when you eventually turn the part of it off the screen?  The only way I know is to simply link or désincorporer...

In Photoshop CC 2015, go to Preferences > tools and check module.   (The three points in the Toolbox in the screenshot says it's 2015.1.1)

Reboot and let us know if this helps.

    How to use Zoom?

The function Zoom of Page Firefox does a level of field by field to save favorite settings level users zoom, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox. Try these extensions:

    -> Default FullZoom Level 4.5

    -> NoSquint 2.1.2

Check and tell if its working.

  • The mouse cursor changes to hand instead of the text tool when I hover over the text.

Normally whenever I have fly over the text in an e-mail or on the web, in order to highlight to copy and paste, the mouse cursor becomes a text tool.  However, now every time I have fly over the text, it remains on the hand tool.  Whenever I click on the mouse button, there just cause the hand to shake.  I can then move the page and everything I want to get off.  The only problem is, I want to highlight the text with the text tool, not handle the page with the hand.  My question is how to change the mouse cursor to get the text tool when it flies over text?
