  Depending on your reaction time, escape may work. If not, what Bob says to resize the zoom box, and then drag to move it around, the evacuation valve to freeze the view.

I also think about making the largest canvas and relying on a small part of it in the Middle, but I'm working already to like 10 k res and that would slow things even more than I guess.)

  Am just missing something? Or is there any workaround solution better?

  You can work in mode full-screen (F key) that allows panning of the document regardless of their size.

  I use photoshop for a long time and I started to use after effects last month and 'I KNOW' how hand tool works, but recently I tried to mess with some settings of sequels and after that whenever I try to use the hand tool to change my point of view (for example after I Zoom) it moves all over the screen in the composition tab. To help you better understand what I'm saying, think of photoshop. When you are zoomed out in photoshop, hand tool does not work. because you're already all see. but now in sequels even when I zoomed out I can move the screen tab composition and it is not locked and it is very annoying. And I'm not talking about move tabs. I know how it works. My composition label is locked in place, but the screen/screens in this tab moves with hand tool.

  Does not work all of a sudden double clicking on the hand tool to zoom to 100%.  It does absolutely nothing.  I was playing around with the guides (turning power switch), and then all at once the hand tool refused to work.  Zoom / out, it's suddenly a huge drag!  Can someone help me with this?

  Also, done Illustrator used to have an option "take back"?  I thought I remembered one but now I only have Undo/Redo and I can't tell if I'm confused with Photoshop.  Thanks for any help!

  Are you sure by double-clicking the hand tool is not "fit to screen"? Try Cmd + 1.

  Cmd + z is "Undo". It is equivalent to "Step Backwards" in PS.

• with wacom tablet hand tool mystery

  I'm having a problem with the tool at hand with my wacom tablet and have not been able to understand how to fix it.

  The question:

  When I'm in the develop module, if I press the space key to call the hand tool and try to move the image using my wacom pen, I can't. When I use the stylus to drag the cursor, screen image will basically freeze (do nothing). If I wait, the picture will move eventually. but I can not move fluidly around the image with the hand tool by using the pen. the same function by using my mouse works fine. so, does not seem to be a problem with the LR. and also, interestingly, if I go in the Navigator Panel, I can drag around the image perfectly using the pen.

  I dug around forums here trying to figure out what wacom or pen windows setting (7) could be the cause, but came to nothing.

  any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Hey, found a solution! Just disable the GPU acceleration and it works again.

  The GPU acceleration has been a real pain for me together. Everything was slow, unstable and delay. As soon as I realized to activate it things go back almost to gear LR 3.6 and the software is still usable. Aye!

• Curves box disappears whenever I click on the hand tool to make points of an image.

  Hi, I use curves and when I apply a curve and select the hand tool and click on my image disappears from the box of curve - it applies the point on the curve area, but I have to re - select the layer with the curve to the box once again, making it work on the tedious curve.  In any case I know what I'm doing wrong?

  What is Photoshop CC? Under change (Photoshop on Mac) > preferences > Interface > Options, is "Auto-effondrement iconic panels" enabled? Uncheck the box that he and the Panel properties for curves if persists regardless of where you click.

  Hi all

  I am writing because I have a problem with the hand tool on a pdf file I created from photos taken off the coast of a powerpoint presentation for a university course.

  On the newly created pdf file, the hand tool would not work to read the entire document. May not edit the page. The only way that I can pass the pages to my pdf document should go to the vertical scroll bar (on the left) and change the pages from there.

  This isn't something that I can not live, but it is rather annoying.

  Could someone tell me please what is the problem with the hand tool and how to fix it?

  If you are curious as to why should I do this instead of simply ask the powerpoint files:

  The Professor of my course of water at my local University gives its course by explaining his powerpoint presentations. It is quite a problem because it does not have enough time to write everything by hand (in the book). So, I asked his permission to take photos of his presentations. He told me that he would allow me to do, but he would not give his own version files to students. Some university professors have strange attitudes support.

  As you can see I have no choice but to be expected in a camera, whenever I go to this class.

  To create my pdfs, all I do is select all the images; Right click and select "combine the files supported in acrobat."

  The created pdf files come out very well. However, the hand tool would not work to navigate the documents together. It only works within a single page, but do not to move to another page.

  My guess is that you're document is in page unique, non-continuous mode.

  So I think that you must reinstall using the way complete three steps (as mentioned in 6):

  Uninstall, run the cleanup tool and reinstall.

• Move the tool and the hand tool works not so I can't move my images.

  I have the latest version of photoshop, and I can't move my images with the tool move or the hand tool. Make sure the level that I want to spend the move tool does nothing and it rises, as if I'm trying to select part of the image that is similar to the use of the Selection tool (as shown in the picture attatched) but then nothing happens. The only way I'm able to move my image now is if I use the transform tool and it's really frustrating and time consuming way to do.   Hi Serenah: This isn't the tool move, this is the path Selection tool. 2015 CC took a major interface update! The move tool is now arrow 4 sides and just to keep things interesting, tool display changes with the workspace. To reset the tools, choose window > Workspace > Essentials reset.   I just bought a new Intuos Wacom Pro 5 and I am trying to configure shortcuts so that my workflow will be more effective, but when I put my stylus to pan/scroll and use it in Photoshop CC 2015, it lag/stutters a little. When I manually select the hand tool (which is supposed to do the exact same thing as the command on my pen) and use in Photoshop it does lag at all. Everyone knows about this problem?

  I don't use CC 2015 there too many questions. However, I just test cc 2015 with my Wacom Intuos Pro and don't have your problem. I have my Pen down toggle switch together space to switch to the hand tool. When I press it I can pan the image smoothly and without any lag. With CC 2015 if I quick pan out from the coast to a stop well. My workstation is running Windows 10.

  I have problems with the space bar shortcut doesn't DO NOT WORK in Photoshop since upgrading by 2014 CC. I can't get the hand tool to work using the space bar, as well as the shift to a linear displacement and proportional scaling has stopped working at the same time.
