  Hello! In the middle of printing, I met a paper jam on my printer HP 4480 (4400 series). The HP Solution Center window automatically appeared and led me through how to clear. I removed the paper stuck, turned the unit back on again once, however a new print request doesn't have to print the next page. Windows XP window, printer says jam paper with the refreshing Word flashing. The HP Solution Center says transport error, but has no other suggestions. Any help will be appreciated.

  Thanks for your suggestion. I was trying somethings myself yesterday. Just after my initial post I have someone else saw posting some troubleshooting tips. I watched them and their suggestion was to download HP Print and Scan doctor. I did, and this utility did not find anything wrong. There was no paper or the other. The doctor's suggestion was to try one for automatic printing. To Auto print successfully, which means I got a page to print. On this, I cancelled the print out via Windows task and tried another page of printing. He worked and very well since.

  You can try to open the picture in paint and adjust the print settings and change the orientation from there.

  You are absolutely right! It isn't that I was using the wrong driver. Rather that I didn't fall down. After choosing the right type of paper, the other dropdown says that this tabloid (low-margin) is available. It is a size of 11 x 17, worked perfectly and the result was superb as usual.

  I'll have to use this printer more often so I remember how it works!
