Cannot print using network printer on Windows 7.

Original title: Windows 7 can't connect to a network CLP-550

I've been chasing this problem for a while.  For some reason, my Windows 7 laptop has lost the ability to print at a Samsung CLP-550, connected to a wireless router.  I can see the document to print in the print queue in windows, but it is not transmitted to the printer.  The State eventually says error - printing.  Can I use a web browser to connect to the web server printer to http://192.168.1.104, but Windows can't detect the printer add printer.  I downloaded the latest drivers, with nothing positive to report.  Utilities Samsung see the printer without problem.  I have a XP printer that can print without problem.  I tried to create another user account, but that no longer works.  Anyone have any ideas?

  • Cannot print with Windows 7 and Photosmart 7350

Hello. Recently, I converted my laptop to Windows 7 Home Premium OS. I have no problem printing to work with this computer of our HP LaserJet but when I enter the problem starts. I have a wireless home network with my Photosmart 7350 connected to my desktop computer that is still running XP. The wizard sees the printer and adds but cannot print a test page. He says that it is waiting, then the print job disappears. I downloaded the Vista driver for the printer. When I run the troubleshooter, it cannot determine the problem. No surprise as convenience stores rarely did help. I got around the problem by sending documents to the desktop so far and then print it from there, but it gets old. Any ideas?

  • HP 6500 E709n cannot print from Windows 7 wireless

I have 3 computers on my office network at home and a HP 6500 E709n with a wireless connection to the router. The printer does everything it's supposed to the XP machine. On the 2 computers running Windows 7, the printer will scan and fax but not print.

When I used the USB cable to connect the printer to a Windows 7 computer, the functions worked well. So, apparently, is not just a matter of having the right driver (and I now reinstalled Windows 7 driver twice after my hard disk cleanup at best). I've checked absolutely everything, and all the recognitions seems to work going both ways. But whenever I try to send a document to the printer to Windows 7, it just sits in the queue.

Other users have this problem? Is that what someone has solved? Thank you.

  • Cannot print in windows 7 Home premium 64-bit

I have a new PC with Win 7. I can't print from MS 13 office (Outlook, Word, etc.) 11 Explorer IE, Chrome, etc. The printer is communicating with the PC, I can scan a document to your computer. I reinstalled the HP printer driver for my Photosmart 6380 and I was able to print a test page for the HP software, but I can't print a test page for the printer configuration in windows. I see on the Microsoft forums that it might be a compatibility problem; I can't find a compatibility setting in one of the printer config options (properties, properties of the printer, etc.) Suggestions?

    Hi William,.

I understand that you cannot print using Microsoft office, Internet Explorer and Chrome.

    Basically, you cannot print anything.

This problem may be caused for the following reasons:

    • Drivers are corrupt.
    • Problem of the printer.
    • Conflict of third-party application.

I checked the compatibility of the printer, it is compatible with Windows 7.

    1. Since when are you facing this problem?
    2. You recently made any changes to the computer?
    3. How the printer is connected to the computer? (With or without wire)
    4. What happens when you try to print?

Please follow the methods and check them off below if it helps:

    Method 1: Clean boot

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

Note: After troubleshooting, consult this section «How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting»

Method 2: Uninstall the printer and reinstall

Please uninstall the printer, and all applications of the printer and scanner in Control Panel.

    Reinstall the printer:

Please visit the printer manufacturer website and download the drivers based on the architecture of the computer (32/64-bit):

    Hi kcoh193,

I'm really happy to learn that the printer works fine now. Thanks for letting me know.

It was very probably administrator rights on the computer, since you had to go around adding to full access to the temp folder. When logged on with administrator rights, you shouldn't do this step.

  • Cannot print in windows xp limited account

I have a HP Deskjet 1000 J110 connected to a Windows XP sp3 via USB device. The printer will not print when using a limited account. The HP printer Assistant does not appear to be any communication problem with the printer; He is able to show ink levels, device information and clean the printer when running under a limited account. I tried to print with different programs, including Firefox, notepad ++ and OpenOffice.org. The print queue status changes of 'winding' to 'impression' then 'print '. The event viewer displays an error event ID 6161:

The document C:\Documents and Settings\Frys\Desktop\test.txt owned by Frys failed to print on printer HP Deskjet 1000 J110 series. Data type: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: 2868. I tried the following things

    • Check the physical connections
    • Restart the print spooler
    • Uninstalled drivers form old printers
    • Unplugged printer, driver uninstalled, installed updated, plugin printer driver
    • Printing without paper, lack of paper is not detected
    • Ran HP print and Scan Doctor, fixed an issue with print queue

The problem is that when printing with a limited account, administrator accounts are able to print.

The account via the display panel > user accounts and created a new. It is now print again, but I lost all my favorites and other information. Only the files that were saved were Desktop and My Documents.

  • When you use network troubleshooting in Windows, get message Windows cannot communicate with primary dns server

    Original Title2: Windows 7 - Internet

Original title: can someone help me?
I use a PC at home with Windows 7.  Whenever the failure at home, I have problems connecting to the Internet. Whenever I try to go on Youtube or another website, I get "Internet Explorer can not display the webpage." Now, my internet and router are configured correctly, then why is what is happening? I ran Diagnostics and got the "Windows cannot communicate with primary DNS server." I tried to reset the TCP/IP settings. It did not work and I did three times! I tried to check the properties of my network when I went to diagnose the problem, he threw some stuff on the property sheets open and close before you reopen the properties. If someone could give a foolproof solution for this annoying internet problem I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community!

While using the network troubleshooter utility in Windows, you get message that Windows cannot communicate with primary DNS server.

What is the exact message that you get when you try to check the settings of network domestic?

I suggest you to change network settings:

Step 1: change network settings of the router

    a. connect to your router (by typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar) and connect. Check your user manual or documentation if you don't know the references of logon.
    b. make sure you are in Setup-> basic configuration category.
    c. scroll down until you see "DHCP Server" - if it is disabled, select 'enable '.
    d. enable DHCP if you want, you can change the number that starts the DHCP IP assigning. (This is optional)
    e. use the DNS servers provided by your ISP. There are many DNS servers out there. It is preferable to use your ISP if possible.
    f. scroll down and click 'Save Settings'.

Note: The procedure may slightly vary with different routers. You can see the manual or contact ISP for assistance.

Step 2: change in the computer network settings

    a. click on start and then Control Panel.
    b. go to the networking and sharing Center and then click on change adapter settings.
    c. right-click on connection to the Local network and select Properties.
    d. Select Internet Protocol Version 6, and then click Properties.
    e. Select obtain DNS server automatically an address and press Ok.
    f. Select obtain IP address automatically.
    g. Repeat steps for Internet Protocol version 4 as well.

I hope this helps. If the problem persists, let know us and we would be happy to help you.
