Cannot read media protected on windows media player 12 on windows 7-64

Hello

I have Windows media player 12 problems to play DRM content. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

When you try to read this content it to load from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, then an error saying "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem during playback of the media file." He doesn't want me download updates of security etc. or anything like that.

I tried all solutions here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-pictures/security-component-wont-upgrade-for-windows-media/62b1ccfd-b197-43da-8e16-34c68e5a09a1?page=1 but nothing works.

I installed the updates of security here http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/en/indivit.asp?force=1 but it has not fixed my problem.

I tried this solution. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/976590 , but it doesn't work anymore. I always get the error "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem reading the file media." each time.

Can someone please help? Thank you.

There is absolutely no way of knowing what has been added or lack of torrents.  They cannot be infected (or your malware can just missed it), but this does not mean that they have been downloaded correctly or have been completed.

The other aspect is that you may need a codec for this particular file type.  What is the extension for it?

I would say that you can download the last packs of codec for Windows Media Player to the Internet and check out them. Make a search using your favorite search engine.

Try to play the DVD.  The message "setting resolution".  Setting resolution does not help.

Installed K-Lite Codec Pack full.  Get the same message on the resolution setting.  Uninstall K - Lite Codec Pack now I get ' WMP cannot play the DVD because no compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

I'm a novice and dangerous, so no "step-by-steps" would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Parrot Hog.

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

Windows Media Player are not compatible with the iPod. You may need to purchase a plug-in to sync the iPod to your windows media player.

IPod is designed to synchronize with ITunes.

Use your favorite search engine to find the plug-in that helps you accomplish the task.

Hi im trying to disseminate content media from my pc to myh ps3 via Wifi, but have so far been in vain.  I activated the media stream option in the Windows media player 11, but my ps3 still does not appear on the list of the network (under "options more continuous), even in"(tous les réseaux). "
I have tried rebooting my ps3 and pc, looking for a multimedia device on my ps3, nothing helps.

  • Cannot remove Media player 12 playlist songs

Original title: Window Media player 12 - Windows 7 Home first is not delete songs

    Hello

If someone offers help for it, it would be great. Two months ago, I downloaded some songs from my computer and play them on Windows Media and he had no problem with it at all. Tree and then months later, I decided to empty all the songs because I love them more, but the windows media is NOT to delete. Then I went to my music folder and deleted all the music that I didn't and I also deleted it from my computer. But when I opened the windows media, it is still there. I can not play because it tells me that it has been replaced or deleted or removed. These songs are however still in my playlist. Can someone help me remove these songs in my playlist. I would really appreaciate it.

    Hi Wendy F.

Clear Media Player database manually and check.

Step 1: To clear the database of Windows Media Player, follow these steps:

    a. exit Windows Media Player.

    b. click Start, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Playerand then click OK.

    c. Select all files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

Note: You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    d. restart Windows Media Player.

Note: Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

Step 2: Clear cache of database of Windows Media Player files. To do this, follow these steps:
