  In my eagerness, trying to save valuable disk space, I deleted all the files (40 GB) in the mobile apps on my mac. This folder has accumulated over 900 files app over the years. I am currently using only 160 apps on my iPhone. I deleted all the files (and emptied the Recycle Bin). After having to remove it, I was unable to download, only the applications that I use currently on the phone (160 of them), in my iTunes again (from the app store in iTunes). This is because iTunes App store thinks that I have already downloaded these applications; where I have deleted just manually in the Mobile Applications folder.

  After reading on the web that it is a mistake, I got cold feet and began a restoration of my time Machine to all 900 app files back.

I first thought I can "put" just the 160 apps from my phone, Mobile Applications to iTunes folder. Now, I realize that I can do is not "transfer purchases". I am on iOS 9.2.1 (6s iPhone Plus) and OS X El Captain (10.11.3) (Macbook Air).

  Moreover, I have a PDF file with a list of all the files in the Mobile Applications (900 application files) folder. I did it using an application called Print window. So I did not have a detailed list of all the files (apps) that I never downloaded. This is so that I can download the Apps on my iPhone directly (from the cloud) in case I need an app on my phone, in the future

  Critical how's this for keep the files in the folder of Mobile Applications on my Mac? In which case I have to restore my iPhone, applications will only download from the Cloud? If the answer is Yes to this question, I can go ahead and delete all the files in the folder of Mobile Applications manually to recover a good amount of disk space?

  You have more need to keep a local copy of the apps. Any application that you do not have at the time of a restoration is downloaded from the cloud provided that it is always available. You can view your list of 160 apps for everything you'd be really sad to lose and keep a copy of those. You don't necessarily need in the library. As long as you have the file .ipa somewhere you can add new in your library at a later date.

  Try to hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

  Alternatively, you can try to reset the App Store:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then restart the unit.

  Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

  I just thought about it - you must maintain the App "slightly" and then move the icons, and you can press the 'x' to remove the application.   From what you described, it seems that you use tactile 3D, instead of simply touch and hold for remove. You can see more info on tactile 3D and how it works here:

  Since the iOS 10 update I'm more able to extinguish the Apps suggested in settings > iTunes and App Store. It is! I hate when my phone is hands-free in my car it suggests incorrect Audio application in the form of locking with a small icon in the lower left. It used to continue playing the latest audio app when I left the car now, it stops all the sound elements or launches an application different all together. The screenshot is from my iPad as it is still on iOS 9. I tried to turn off the Apps of Siri suggested in the Spotlight search, but that does not solve the issue.

  1. slide down from the top of the screen
  2. scan from left to right to display the Widgets
  3. Press the button change
  4. under Add Widgets, you should see Siri App Suggestions with a red (-) less
  5. Press the sign - to remove the Siri App Suggestions
  6. Tap done

  Well, it seems that I can access is no longer my actions on my iPhone after updating to IOS 9.3.2,and the app shows my NAS as 'Online', but the actions all show "disconnected." If I'm on WIFI it connects fine and shows "connected (LAN)" cell data are enabled for the application and the NAS server is online, just won't access actions while on cell phone.   I was finally able to fix it by going into the tab 'Cloud' on the NAS by clicking on the button "Exit" to cancel my account, signing of the computer desktop and the IOS app, then go to http://readycloud.netgear.com/client/index.html#page=discoverdevices to register a new account with a different email address, even used the same password. Then come back to the NAS to turn on and connect to the cloud and finally sign with the new account on the IOS app. It worked and I can now access all my actions on IOS other networks. • HP ePrint iOS app is no longer find Photosmart C4780 after app update

  I have a HP Photosmart C4780 connected via WiFi to my network, but unfortunately it is not supported by AirPrint on iDevices.

  So, I was working with HP ePrint home & Biz iOS app (version 4.1), which has been very useful to me because he found the printer and allowed me to print from my iPad/iPhone.

  Today I have updated the app on my iPhone to version 5 (now simply called 'HP ePrint' in the App Store) and after the update, the new version is not my Photosmart C4780. I did the Activation thing on the iPhone, as it has been asked to refresh the list of printer on my network in the all tab, but after refresh no printer is found.

  Still I have the old 4.1 on my iPad (and if everything goes well in my iTunes library) and is the printer, I guess, through MSDN because it shows the name specified for this parameter.

  So, the question is: have you abandoned support of Photosmart C4780 under version 5.0 HP ePrint iOS app? If so, why did ' t you this properly informed about the application up-to-date descriptive text in the App Store? A message like "some printers are not supported over ' would be helpul.

  If HP ePrint should find the Photosmart C4700 series printers and it is a question, how to proceed from here?

  Thanks for your update.

  I tried restart before (I found this same "action plan" in another thread), but it didn't work, so I removed the app. Later with the 5.0.2 update I installed again the HP ePrint back once again and it worked. However sometimes when I open the app the point in the remains of the gray label and never turns green.

  Now that you mentioned the reboot, I rebooted my iPhone and my C4780 shows the green dot. But I don't know if that'll keep green whenever I need. I will continue to check and see.

  What makes me confident on the app update 5.x, it is that this kind of hassle should never with old HP ePrint home & version Biz (4.x), I keep in my iPad.

  I will continue to work with both versions of the app on my iPhone (5.x) and iPad (4.x) and see how it goes. I really hope that last updated works better, as 5.x is a nice update.

• Bookmarks are not correctly displayed in the iOS app version 15.4

  We are having a problem with the current version of the iOS app.  Bookmarks to a PDF file are displayed in the application, but the part of the text for the bookmark is missing.  We tried to open the PDF in iBooks and bookmarks are displayed correctly.  See the attached images.

  Thanks for posting the screenshots.  They are very useful.

  The second screenshot shows clearly that the bookmark labels contain newline characters.  Your bookmark labels extend two lines.

  Acrobat Reader for iOS shows only the first line ('6', '7') of each bookmark label and don't watch not the second line.  In contrast, iBooks shows multi-line bookmark labels.

  I will file a bug report for the problem with bookmark multiline labels in Acrobat Reader.

  As a solution, if you have a copy of Acrobat Pro (a PDF editor for Windows or Mac computers), you can change the bookmark labels to remove line break characters and turn them into bookmark single-line labels.

  Alternatively, you can use a trial version for 30 days to see if it fits your needs.
