Cannot restore my Tecra A10 from recovery disc

Hello

I'm having a problem restoring my C disk from a disk image. The Toshiba HARD drive recovery utility seems to have disappeared from my computer.
When I followed the instructions for restoring (be it by pressing 0, or F8 during startup to access the HARD drive recovery utility) I finally get a message saying

"The creation of means of recovery is impossibe! File recovery HARD drive on the second disc of the first hard drive not found. There is no valid disk HARD recovery environment on this computer. »

(I get a similar message if I try to open the Toshiba recovery disc creator in the start menu)

Because this does not work, I tried using recovery discs that I have made previously using the same utility. I insert the disk and start the computer (according to instructions), but nothing happens and it starts Windows normally. How can I use these discs?

My laptop is a Tecra A10 16 d Windows vista professional.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

As much as I know saved on HARD drive recovery image can't disappear. I guess you did a few exchanges of structure of HARD drive and now recorded image is not found by the wizard of HARD drive recovery or Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator. Both of these tools know where to look for it, but if they do not find specific markers you will get this message.

Now the only option for you is the use of recovery disks.
Do you use this disk for the first time now?
When you check the contents of the disc in Windows Explorer you will see the content?

Then try to boot using the created disc. Start Notepad, and then press F12. When the boot menu appears on the screen, place the disc in the ODD, choose the CD/DVD drive on the list and press ENTER.

What happens when you do this?

    Hello

Last week, I bought a new laptop Toshiba Tecra A10.
Today, I try to do a restore, an error pops up: no recordable discs are recognised on your PC or another application is using that drive. Please check the status of the drive.
    (Error code: 0D00E4-F0-00000000).

Please help me solve this problem.

    Hello

The error means that your CD/DVD drive is being used by another application or the inserted media is not registrable.

I think that the error appears because of the inserted disc.
I have read several times about similar problems and in most cases this error appears because the inserted DVD is not 100% compatible.
In my opinion, you should try different DVD from different manufacturers.

In my case the s TDK DVD - R worked well but run it s still a matter of CD/DVD that is installed in your laptop drive

  • System Restore Win7 without success using recovery discs

I have a Vaio VPCCW23FX under Windows 7 Home Premium. My original hard drive Vaio is dying (after a little more than 2 years). I tried to create recovery discs from my laptop, but that the process has failed. Sony support said that my recovery partition must have gotten corrupted and I need to buy the discs at home. Very well, I did. I also bought a new Western Digital 1 TB portable hard drive (same cache size and speed as the drive in the laptop, just more storage space). I WAS able to create a disc Image system to my laptop, even if I couldn't create recovery discs.

The new hard drive installation was quick and easy and I had no problem. The process of recovery has been unsuccessful to date, however. It seems TO be going smoothly and successfully and run all 4 disks and nine copied files on the hard drive. I get to the end and it is said to remove the disk and restart the computer to complete the installation.

As it is start I see some messages that look like this market (including the update of the register, installation of devices). Then at the bottom it says: 'The Installer applies system settings' and an error message box is displayed. It is said: "Windows Setup could not configure Windows to run on a hardware on this computer." The only option is to click OK, how the computer restarts.

When the computer restarts after this error message, the same things happen but I get a new error message: "Windows cannot complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, run the Setup again. "Again, the only option is to click OK, that makes the computer to restart, which makes this error message displayed, etc.

I can hit F8 as soon as the VAIO appears logo and a menu of Windows recovery. I can boot into safe mode, I can choose to go in recovery mode, I can even get to a command prompt and see what is on the drive.

There is a good bit of information on the disc (about 20 GB or more, if I remember correctly). Based on the directories that are here, it SEEMS like Windows is there and should work... but it doesn't and it won't tell me why.

I can run the Startup Repair, and he tells me that it can not detect a problem. She even said, "State the start indicates that the OS booted successfully."

I tried to put in the System Image disc I created, but the Startup Repair and recovery system do not seem to recognize it.

I have screenshots of the various messages and info from the command prompt. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Again, what are the recovery discs for Windows 7 that I ordered directly from Sony, own my laptop model, and the only difference in the computer, it is that I bought a 1 TB drive to replace the dying 500 GB drive.

    Thank you in advance.

I used the CD recovery of three in the past to restore my computer to factory settings and they worked without any problems.

Earlier today, I tried to repeat this same process, and, for some reason, it didn't work. The first disc is loaded without problems. But then once asked that the second CD and I put in it, it gave me an error saying: "version mono user cannot make multiple loads.

I wonder if someone could help.

I saved my iphone yesterday and tried to install the update. He failed and went into recovery mode.

After that an update for itunes popped up, so I installed. Tried to update again and it failed. Now, when I connect the phone to Itunes it says either update or restore. According to I try, it won't work. Says that iphone may not be detected despite me having the option to eject it before, either the update or restore process.

At the moment I can't do anything with it

    Hello. Try the following steps:

1 press and hold and press Home and Power for 10 seconds to reload your iPhone. If it is still stuck on the Apple logo, you will need to put it in recovery mode.

    2. connect the iPhone to your computer via the USB cable (make sure that the latest version of iTunes is installed).

    3. hold the Home and Power button for 10 seconds. Then release the power button but continue to press the home button.

    4. you will see connect to iTunes screen and you can release the Home button.

    5. now you can restore your iPhone with iTunes.

  • V3 - 771 cannot enter BIOS to rebuild from recovery DVDs

    Hi all

My installation of Windows 8 has been corrupted and does not start. So I just want to get the laptop to boot from the recovery DVD or any DVD so I can rebuild.

No matter how hard I press F2, nothing happens and I get "no boot device, press a key." It just takes me to a blank start menu! I tried with what I know to be bootable CD/DVD internally and have used external DVD drives.

I want to just get into the setup to boot from the DVD drive. How difficult that can be. Very far and completely frustrating.

    Any advice or help welcome.

Thank you very much for your time.

    Paul

    Hello again,

This problem is corrected now strangely. I had tried to start on many drives of type Ultimate Boot with no luck. I jumped in a DVD of Windows 7 which has started loading, but didn't the first time.

I rebooted and then the "F2" worked well. I changed the classic UEFI BIOS got up the menu key to boot at startup and started on the DVD of Windows 7. Load up now very well.

This is nuts. Affect the initial installation of Windows 8 that crashed BIOS/UEFI? I'm old school and both should be completely independent. The operating system should have nothing to do with the computer startup mechanism.

    Thank you very much

    Paul

  • Warning from recovery disc

I recently bought a HP envy m6 mobile, and I am constantly getting an alert warning that the recovery disk is full. I have a Windows 8 operating system on the computer, and I tried to follow the instructions given in a thread I found in this forum about this. The solution was however for Windows 7 and I got halfways stuck without solving the problem.

Please help me get rid of this warning message, I would be very grateful for your help.

    Kind regards

    Stefan

Thanks for the reply! I'll put the Mode safe on the bench at the moment

Since I was an exact error message, I found a paper with solutions, you should try: error: low disk space. You run lack of disk space on recovery (D (Windows Vista) )

Although the diagnosis is for Windows Vista, the steps will work under Windows 7. Please, try them and let me know what happens. Thank you!

If looking for updates to hang on a current installation,

Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

take too long, it took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are turned on forever check

updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

I think that the solution came from Softpedia and Joel_CS posted on this thread,

  • I've prepared separately from recovery disc. Can I remove Base.wim file in my recovery disk now?

According to the warning given by HP Support assistant, I have prepared three DVDs with HP Support Assistant sussessfully recovery. On my recovery disk D:\ there is a preload folder that contains a file named base.wim (size 10 GB). If this folder contains the system image, delete this folder now? By this action I can get 10 GB more space on my PC. Please somebody guide me regarding the issue above.

    Hello

As you created your set of recovery disks - (these will be no only reinstall the OS, but recreate the recovery Partition as well)-you can completely remove the recovery Partition.  If you open the folder Recovery Manager (in all programs) there is usually the opportunity to do, or you can also use Windows disk management.

    Kind regards

  • Operating system recovery discs repairs

I have an office of 180 t Pavilion with Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit, which does not allow me to upgrade to Sp1.  I ran several times of sfc/scannow, and every time I said I have corrupted files which can not be repaired.  Is there a way I can repair my installation of Windows 7 since the recovery discs?

You cannot repair your installation with the recovery discs.  You can create a Windows 7 repair disc on another computer which has Windows 7.  This tutorial shows you how to create such a floppy.  Read first before you do anything.
