I don't have the XP disk to try a fix and nothing in the pages of microsoft download will run. Oh please I don't want to take that back to the computer type that will charge me an arm and a leg.   Do you have this of Direct2Drive?  Basically, the original Assassin's Creed v1.0 is compatible not 64-bit.  You need to have the v1.02 patch.  Available here.  Although I don't think you can install the hotfix without first installing the game.  If you need a more recent copy of the game.  If you buy it on Steam, it will not work.  But if you have the Direct2Drive version, you might have missed the system requirements specifying that you need a 32 bit OS to play.

  It seems that AC3filter is not compatible with Windows Vista by looking in the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/Search.aspx?type=Software&s=AC3Filter

  However, this error may also be due:

  i. due to a malware/spyware infection.
  II. or if there are remnants of previously uninstalled of programs in the registry

  I suggest you use the Windows clean up utility and remove all entries of all unused/uninstalled programs remains.

  2. save the file on the computer.

  3. install this tool on the computer.

But when I create the new #12 screen (copy paste other on-screen), page couldn't use an executable statement. Each I use Runnable/thread, I got error. But when I remove an executable statement my work normally requires.

  Just to add, for someone else, I use the 32-bit and changed Java SDK my way to the bin folder where the SDK was installed.
