• BlackBerry smartphones cannot save images.

  I try to take a picture and get this message:

  My default save location is the press card.

  You have enabled encryption on the card either the device or media. Unless it is a requirement for your job or you keep sensitive information on your press card (why?), turn off!   I tried to save JPEG images after making a few changes to Photoshop CS4. For each file, I get the message "cannot save (file name) because the file is already in use or left open." I checked my apps and nothing is running would be to use the image. Can someone look over my EtreCheck and tell me if there is something current funny? I'm working on hundreds of images, so just change the name is slow and heavy work around. The problem seems to have started after update 10.11.

  This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

  Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

  Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

  Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

  The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

  Test in safe mode. Same problem?

  After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.

• Cannot save a big TIFF 16-bit RGB Image in JPEG format

  Hi all

  I use Photoshop CS5 Extended on Windows 7 64 bit (Home Premium).

  I sewed a panorama in Photoshop using the fusion of 19 RAW (Canon 5 d mkII) files in 16-bit. Everything was fine, I saved the image merged under TIFF 16 and worked on it. Panoramic image resolution is approximately 33000 x 4900. Place the flattened selections and active left.

  Once I was happy, I ran the Image processor on it with a watermark action and add the copyright EXIF data. There is no need to say that it cannot save in JPEG format (he performed the action correctly, just stopped to save). Normally, this works very well with other images RGB TIFF 16 I did.

  I tried to save it manually, but at this time, I noticed that the "Save for web" option is grayed out and the dialog box "save under" showed no JPEG options.

  What I did:

  1.) tried to open it with ACR and save it in JPEG format. It worked well

  2.) tried to resize to 20000 x 3600 (more or less) and it worked fine (which means that the option to save it as a JPEG back where it)

  3.) tried to convert it to full-size 8-bit and who did not

  I'm not too bothered because I have the solution of ACR, but it's boring and in the past, I've done more large panoramas with CS4 and I never had this problem before.

  Any ideas?

  The CAB code has a limit of 64 k according to the width and height of JPEG files.

  The Photoshop code has a 32 KB limit, because of the old code for JPEG.

  Hi, have a strange problem for a few days. If I change the image (PSD) in InDesign with the 'Edit original' command in Photoshop sometimes once picture editing, I get the message "cannot save" C:... /... psd ' because the file is already in use or left open "when I try to save. If I close the file in InDesign I save again the image in PhotoShop. Sometimes not all the time. I do not work with files on the server. It's just me alone...

  Anyone experienced this kind of behavior?

  I had this same problem, but I tried to export my file in format .idml (InDesign Markup) and he re-recorded as a new indesign file. Maybe try that? -Sort the problem (so far) with me.

  Hello chaitanyaagrawal, try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

  Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

  If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

  Thanks for the help.  I was on the phone with a form of Adobe technology for at least 45 minutes after, wait at least one hour support to get to him.  After 45 minutes and him having to take control of my computer, it says that it cannot be done.   After that I went to the psd in the Preferences tab I can now save images from CC 2015 in Lr as a psd file.  But when I'm done with all my improvements now want to flatten image and save it in jpg format s and send, Photoshop/Lr does not save it in the Lr catalog, but it saves it in the bridge.  Is it possible to save it as a jpg file to Lr?

  I'm sorry that you waited for a long time during the call.

  Although Theo, what is happening here that when you take the image from Lightroom to Photoshop which is actually a .tiff format.

  As you said have you flatten layers, you can save in Jpeg format, but surely, that reflect back Lr.

  As when we press the Save as command in photoshop, it's one more copy of that image and it ask you for the location where to put it.

  If this copy automatically imported to Lightroom return.

  The best way you can do here is that you can save as JPEG in the same folder where is your original and then you can go to lightroom-> right click (ctrl + click (MAC)) on this folder and then click on synchronize.

  This will open the dialog box and gives you the ability to import to Lr without opening the import window.

  Of this a way you can put this JPEG file in the same catalog.

• Cannot save PNG flattened with alpha in CS6

  I'm on Fw CS6 - cannot save as flattened PNG with transparency. I'm on Mac OS X 10.7.4. It allows to work perfectly with CS5.

  Another thing I noticed: the dialog box preview image and the optimization Panel normally communicate with each other. Changes to a file format (e.g. of PNG8 to PNG32) made in the Image Preview dialog box will result in the same settings that appear in the Panel optimize. This does NOT happen when the image settings are made in the Save as command dialog box (although it seems to have access to the same dialog box Preview Image).

  This is perhaps where the system is broken down. In this case, you would have more luck using overview image instead of Save as to create a flattened PNG.

• "Cannot save as"Filename"because of a program error."  Don't allow me to save in ANY format!

  I have a big file (3500x8300px) where I worked on Photoshop CS4 and I tried to save it after working on it for about 30 minutes and got the following message: "Cannot save as"Filename"because of a program error."  I tried saving them as .psd, .tif, .pdf, .jpg, even and received the same message every time.  I closed down all other software to make sure that there is enough memory available, but nothing helped.  I then my MBP and wait until the next day hoping it was just a small problem and could work later.  I opened the next day (the question save oversight) and worked on the file for a few hours and then I tried re-register. (when I remembered the question... too late... the work was already done).  Nope... still doesn't let me save it.  I'm afraid I have to restart the program, but cannot afford to lose this job.  Any thoughts on how to fix it?

  Yes, I tried everything above, and none of it seemed to work.  The only thing that would work was to SFW .gif or .jpg (would not allow png).  However, after recording the second layer as a gif, overall the program has frozen and I was unable to recover.  Well... here again!  (maybe I can convince my boss to upgrade to CS5).   Rect this problem, but simply, it seems that if I open a new document in Photoshop CS5 in 32-bit color RGB, I can't save it later as a BITMAP/JPEG/PNG or anything web partner. I can just save it as a Photoshop type documents. It is rather frustraiting because I spent hours at a drawing on my tablet, and I had to copy it and passage to a RGB 16-bit color, which also disappeared in my image immencly give the impression it's a glare, in addition to that it also made the summary of the unusable image, it is not repairable because in order to copy the entire image I had to merge the layers.

  Is there really no explanation as to why we cannot save 32-bit color as web ready formats, or even JPEG/png files?

  Correct, because these formats are limited to 8 or 16-bit per channel integer, and cannot work with 32 bits/channel values in floating point.

  The web is almost entirely 8 bits/channel formats (because there are very few screens that can do more than 8-bit/channel).

  Looks like that confuse you the term often used "32 bits of images" (i.e. 8 bits/channel and channel RGBA) 32-bit/channel.
