Cannot scan computer with J611 of all-in-one HP Deskjet 3050 a
I use WIndows 7.
I can scan from the all-in-one HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 assistance from the control panel.
I was able to run a scan of the computer. But now when I select the icon on the desktop to my all-in-one HP Deskjet 3050 a J611, I see more scan options.

I connected with a USB cable and everything works now. It is not convenient, but it's a solution. It's still a mystery as to why he's working for a few months and then suddenly stopped working.
In any case, thanks for the follow up several times and find a work around.

I see that you have problems editing your scans. This printer is not equipped with OCR software. If you are looking to change with OCR software, I would say downloading and using the OCR of third party service.

All-in-one HP Deskjet 3050 a J611 series - mavericks and wireless set up

I have a HP Deskjet 3040 A J611 all-in-one printer, I have had this printer for about 2 years and everything worked perfectly then I bought an Apple again everything was fine but when I updated my software that I got from the Mavericks and since then everything has gone wrong... I updated my computer and I got AirPrint now and also HP ePrint (currently). How was never the printer don't work or connection.
Problem 1:
When I tried to solve the problem that I uninstalled all HP drivers to reinstall - found you must install apple application made! (Airprint)
The printer was taken over by the computer and I can scan but I can not print, I am using the USB cable and when I print the computer indicates it's printing and printers lights but nothing happens (no), then the computer shows the impression is made - but the printer does not print. Scan works very well.
Problem 2:
Due to recurring problems with the wireless connection, I wanted to reconnect to the router - restore the default value.
But now, because I don't have the drivers of HP, I have no idea how to connect to it and I tried two ways of connection THAT WPS is not working when I press on the road... nothing happens and the PIN, where are you suppose to enter the PIN, nothing comes up on my computer (USB connected)
I read the installation times pages but may not know what is wrong, any advice would be appreciated.

I can certainly help you get the printer on the network and running again.
Follow the steps in this thread to turn the printer on the network without using the software or the WPS button. I think we do this way of success.

I can't find the code for the printer on my printer all-in-one HP deskjet 3050 J610
I disconnected wireless and the printer is off and turned on and connected re. I changed the DNS to 8888 and secondary to 8844. I printed 5 pages of network configuration and 4 reports of State printer and NOTHING to the printer on that code. How can I get a? Thanx, Anna

I'm afraid that the Deskjet 3050 J610-does not support a web service ePrint or Print Apps.
Only the ePrint to support Deskjet 3050has (J611) as you can find below:

It's much better scan from your computer, this method allows more options. But if you want to scan from the printer to your computer, you must initiate or enable the analysis of the computer first TO your computer (Windows):
(a) click (or double-click) the printer icon.
b click on Manage scan of the computer,
(c) enableYou can start this option with Windows by checking a square box.

The function "scan" on my hp psc 2410 printer/scanner/copier/fax MACHINE used to work on my other computer running Windows 98 was, but I wasn't able to scan in Windows Vista. All-in-one HP DeskJet 2130: all-in-one x 2 align
I can't get an alignment page printed with my printer all-in-one HP DeskJet 2130 new (just out of the box).
I have installed two ink cartridges, loaded paper and did not get an automatic alignment page print as the directions say I would. I put a piece a document on the glass of the scanner as shown and then press the START COPY BLACK button nothing works. The book comes out just of Virgin. I do the same thing with the button COPY COLOR START, get the same results.
I turned the printer market twice, installed the printer software and tried again... still a blank alignment page.
I used the new ink cartridges, not supplied with the printer... could they be defective? Any ideas? Thank you very much!

What happens if you try to print a self-test page? Print a self-test Page.
What operating system you use, Windows or Mac? What version? https://www.whatsmyos.com.

This printer has always worked well... used only occasionally. The cartridges are fine. Everything prints out fine computer, it scans very well, but does not copy. Looks like it's copy, but shot out a blank page.

I understand that your 3520 Deskjet is no copy making more correctly however, you can print and scan without a problem. I will do my best to help! I might be far away but I suspect that there could be a problem with the printhead and it printing black ink. I say this because when you print from your computer, normally the ink colors mix to create a composite black, and when you print copies, it's only the black ink cartridge that is used.
I want you to try a power reset and make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.
Turn on the printer.
With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.
If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.Please also try the procedure described in this guide and get back to me with the results when you're done and I hope that we can reach a resolution!

I want to print black and white with empty color cartridge. My model is all-in-one HP Deskjet 4288.
The Deskjet F4288 joined the printheads on the ink supply. These are replaced at each change of cartrdige so there is no concern about printing empty color or black cartridges.
You should be able to print in ink entry mode "backup" by removing color (or black, but not both) cartridges. There will probably be a warning message about ink backup mode but you should be able to print and the printer will work regardless of the cartridge is available. In handwritten backup with the only color black cartrdige mode areas will print in shades of gray. If print ink backup mode only the installed color cartridge then black will be printed by mixing colors.
See page 75 of the manual here, that says:
Use the entry ink-backup mode
Use ink-backup mode to operate the HP all-in-one with only one cartridge. The
ink-backup mode begins when an ink cartridge is removed from the print cartridge
transport. During the ink-backup mode, the product can only printing from the computer.
You cannot start a print job from the control (such as copying or scanning a Panel
original).NOTE: When the HP all-in-one device works in ink-backup mode, a message is
displayed on the screen. If the message appears and two print cartridges are installed
in the product, check that the piece of tape plastic protection has been removed
each print cartridge. When the plastic strip covering the contacts of the print cartridge, the product
cannot detect the cartridge is installed. -

If it is not included with the not on this model is an alternative HP printer software that would work with this printer and if not, is there an all HP designed for home or small office printers still have this feature?

I now have a computer with Windows XP and wanted to buy a new computer. All new computers come with Windows 7. Is it possible to buy a new computer with Windows XP (or buy one with Windows 7 and remove it and install Windows XP)? I like XP and have talked to people who are not really happy with Windows7 and holds XP back. AND I also discovered that my printer is not compatible with Windows 7 - it is not that I love him and want to keep it. I can't afford to buy a new computer AND printer, since I have been unemployed for more than 2-1/2 years. I would like to use XP on a new computer! Probably not, you will find a computer with XP on it.
If you buy a computer with Windows 7, you will first need to know if it would be compatible with Windows XP. Probably not, because they are not designed for XP and drivers are not available.
Unless you want to spend the time, you're stuck with your old computer.

We do not know what you have already tried to do the job to the printer.
Vista drivers are available on the site Web of Lexmarks the link above, to download.
Go to the website above > drivers and downloads tab at the top > and follow the Options with your model number >
Download/save the drivers compatible Vista on your desktop > uninstall/reinstall your printer according to the instructions of Lexmark.
If you still have problems, contact Lexmark, as they are the ones who write drivers for the printer, not Microsoft.
